I have also…read morebeen getting hydrafacials for over 10 yrs at multiple locations and have NEVER had an issue (and I am not on any medication or new/active products) I always come out with glowing skin looking better than I went in. I made the appt and verified the cost would be $149. I did agree to add dermaplaning to my service but was not made aware of any additional charges beyond that, or the cost. I think this may have been a miscommunication because I had a $100 birthday coupon I was planning to use but regardless asked what the cost of the service was...period (not after my coupon). That is also why I agreed to the additional dermaplaning. I reiterated before the service that my skin is sensitive and at the time had some clogged pores but only one active breakout. I left with red raw bumpy dry skin. I called immediately after the service to complain and asked for someone to call me also to discuss the $249 I was charged. I reached out thru Klara multiple times as well as sent multiple pics. The entire left side of my face was covered with large painful red bumps and breakouts. I did hear back once from the person that performed the service indicating it could be from the heat and should be better by the next day. Unfortunately things did not get any better the next day and I did not receive a call like I was told she would or message asking how it was. Would not recommend and will definitely not go back. Besides the fact my skin look significantly worse,,,I feel the costs were not upfront and transparent. Update :I had to see a dermatologist today because of the severe redness/irritation/discomfort. I left a message with the office again and have still not heard back from anyone

The office is beautiful, and it's so convenient to have consultations and procedures done in one location; Dr. Zubowski's private surgical center is immaculate and comfortable. The aftercare and follow-up have also been excellent. I'm very happy with my results and I plan to return to Dr. Zubowski in the future. Highly recommend!

I would give Dr. Kassir and his staff a billion stars if i could. Let's go one by one:…read more Dr. Kassir- the level of professionalism, bedside manner, care, expertise, love and patience you are getting with him is beyond what i have experienced with any of my previous plastic surgeons (4 others). I can genuinely say from the moment my mother and i booked with him we felt we were in good hands but when we met him we knew. All worries and concerns went away because he really listens and wants you to be happy with your results. I was disheartened to read the other reviews because he is far from a doctor that only cares about your money. Yes, he is pricey but that is directly correlated to the results I received and the level of care and importance he has placed on my desires in reference to my appearance and results. He has continually seen me to check my results, as he did with my mom and hers. For myself it has been a year and i have had 10-15 different appointments from checking up on results to little changes i wanted to try with injections and lasers or fixing scars from previous doctors. He even fixed mistakes from previous doctors without hesitation and without charging me a ridiculous amount or nothing at all because he is that caring. For my mom it's been 3 years and she has been there and done the same. Never once have they denied our requests or been dishonest about predicted results or costs. We always get honest care and instructions on their policies when booking. He is a wonderful family man that makes his patients feel like his extended family. You never leave them without him catching up with you and asking about your lovely family and life. You never feel rushed out. Lastly, a lot of times we think this is an all solving solution to your aesthetic needs and forget that he places instructions on lifestyle and after care to reach optimal result. He has miracle hands that work miracles but we also have to be consistent with the after care and be responsible with his schedule and be respectful to all helping us. I still see him for all my aesthetic needs today. The doctor and his team are still extremely accommodating, understanding, kind and professional. My mother, daughter and i feel like family as soon as we walk into the ridgewood or park offices. Kivork: What can i say about Kivork? Wow, just the best injector i have ever had the pleasure of working with. I'm not exaggerating when i say i have tried many injectors in my life and he is by far the most knowledgeable of the dozen or so i have met in my 10 years of owning a medi spa in the tri state area. He is not only talented but welcoming and friendly. He will have you smiling with his positive attitude and compliments. He truly feels like an old friend you catch up with every time you sit in his chair. The amount of compliments i get on how "youthful" and "taut" my skin looks are innumerable. I can't thank him enough for helping me get my glow and confidence back. Instead of a paintbrush and art, he carries a needle and an arsenal of beauty tools equipped with unarguably the best knowledge about facial symmetry, skin care, lasers, facial balancing, procedures, scarring and more - at his fingertips. Kivork is without question - the Picasso of aesthetics and injectables. Fernando: The voice you hear when you have the pleasure of calling their Ridgewood office. Fernando is that kind of person that goes above and beyond for a job they love. He makes the office become home as soon as he greets you. His level of care and attention is an amazing example of the service you will receive in their care. I can't tell you how many times i have called and he has taken his time to make sure all my appointments are perfect so I'm in no discomfort or just because my travel time is quite long that day. He makes sure that i am going to the right office because of the one time i went to the wrong one haha. So much so that i can confidently say i can call in with any scheduling or aesthetic question and he will get me the answer or communicate my needs to the team to make sure I'm taken care of. She was honest about what was achievable and what was not, which I deeply appreciated. I never felt rushed--she always took her time with me, patiently answering my endless questions. From the very start, she was warm, caring, and reassuring, and I felt like we were true partners in this journey. Beyond her personable approach, Dr. Afridi is an exceptional surgeon. She is meticulous in her work and spent the time needed to make sure everything was done exactly right. It's clear she genuinely cares about achieving the best possible results. From day one, I could tell she was deeply invested in me and went above and beyond to ensure I would be happy with the outcome. I came to her for a very tricky and sensitive procedure: ankle liposuction. This was something I had struggled with for years. No matter how much I exercised, I could never change the shape of this stubborn area, and it always left me feeling self-conscious. It even limited my fashion choices (hello, maxi dresses!)--I spent most of my life trying to cover my legs. Even with all that frustration, the idea of surgery was daunting. I did not want to take unnecessary risks with my health and had decided I would not undergo general anesthesia. Dr. Afridi immediately put me at ease by creating a plan to do the procedure under local anesthesia instead. On the day of surgery, she and her team made me feel completely cared for and supported. I was comfortable the entire time (her nurse even held my hand, which meant so much). The whole experience was far easier than I ever imagined--I had very little pain and was able to walk out of the office the same day. Dr. Afridi's skill and attention to detail were evident throughout, and I always felt safe in her hands. The results? Truly outstanding. For the first time in my life, I feel confident about this part of my body. This wasn't just a surgery--it freed me from years of insecurity. Dr. Afridi is not only a highly skilled surgeon, but also a compassionate partner in her patients' journeys. If you're considering a procedure and want a doctor who is meticulous, caring, and genuinely invested in your outcome, I honestly can't imagine anyone better.

I did my research and due diligence regarding lower Blepharoplasty, and the second I met Dr Parakh, I made my decision. First, her office team is top flight. From the kind and diligent Bianca greeting you warmly at the front desk to Maria efficiently and expertly handling paperwork to the amazing Viktoria who assists Dr Parakh in every aspect of patient care - you will be in the finest, most attentive hands. Pre and Post surgery, Viktoria was my contact (though the one time I needed to reach Dr Parakh after hours, she replied in minutes) through text, phone and email. Viktoria responded immediately to my many questions and if she didn't know an answer, she found out from the doctor and got back to me as soon as humanly possible. Dr Parakh herself is that wonderful combination of total expertise and competence and the best girlfriend you wish you had. Funny, easy, brilliantly gifted, completely present, multi-certified, and ultimately inspiring, she listened carefully to my desire to be rid of these troublesome eye bags and still look like a woman well and wonderfully over 50. At 61, this doctor has me looking my very best. The surgery itself was perfectly handled. I'd had a terrible experience with anesthesia in the past and that was worrying me. The anesthesiologist came into the room, pre-surgery, and listened very carefully to my previous experience, assuring me he would do his best to avoid lingering negative effects. He did his job well! Not only did I have NO pain from the surgery (I never needed, nor took a pain killer after the first day) but I had no impact from the anesthesia, allowing me to rapidly recover. Every single thing I was told would happened, happened exactly as I was told. So... how do I look? Pretty great. My long unloved eye bags are gone! At 2 weeks post surgery, there is the tiniest bruise which covers nicely with cover-up. When I smile, I have exactly the right amount of smile lines to look my age but...ya know - like I had a really, really, REALLY good sleep. Go to Dr Parakh; she'll make you your best you

I called Dr. Landmann's office to inquire about an under-eye consultation and was initially quoted…read more$285. During the conversation, I simply mentioned that I had previously had facial fat grafting as part of my cosmetic history. I was then told the consultation would be $400. To be clear, I am not seeking revision surgery. I have not had a failed procedure that needs to be corrected. I simply disclosed that I had previously had fat grafting to my face. When I asked why that changed a $285 consultation into a $400 consultation, the response I received was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. That interaction immediately raised a larger question for me: why would I pay $400 just to consult with a Bergen County practice when Manhattan is minutes away and offers access to some of the country's most experienced oculoplastic and facial plastic surgeons--physicians whose practices encompass complex lower-eyelid surgery, tear-trough correction, fat repositioning, orbital and midface work--often with more reasonable or clearly explained consultation policies? Cosmetic medicine has entered an era of extraordinary pricing: consultation fees, procedure fees and seemingly endless tiers of additional charges. Expertise deserves to be compensated. But increasingly inflated pricing does not automatically equal greater expertise. Patients--particularly women, who make up such a large percentage of the cosmetic surgery market--should be able to ask a simple question about a fee without being treated as though they're inconveniencing the office. A $400 consultation fee because I disclosed prior facial fat grafting, combined with the attitude I received when I questioned it, was enough for me. There are simply too many exceptional specialists in New York and New Jersey competing for patients to tolerate this kind of experience. Expertise matters. So do transparency, professionalism and humility. For me: thank you but no thank you.
