I had my BBL surgery at laserklinc office in Manhattan (136 east 57th street 10th floor,NY)with dr.Theodore Diktaban,on the day of the surgery they gave me3 pills and kept me waiting in a little room,then later for the surgery was transferred to another similar room,I expected an operating room or something like that, as the procedure was under local anesthesia I could see and hear everythin,apart from the dr.there where 3 more people,a guy who attended the dr. left several times and returned and did not change his gloves,Desiree and the front desk girl entered an left several times with their cellphones without gloves or masks,I already wanted for this to end. At home the pain was really bad, on Friday Nov19 I texted Desiree,since it was the only number I had to tell her about the pain andfever,she called me to said that it was normal, that her boyfriend just had a knee surgery and his like nothing happened to him,I came to believe that it was normal,the days went by with a lot of pain,hight fever,nausea,I couldn't even eat and the buttock area had a very strong red color and I couldn't even touch it,until Wednesday Nov24 that I couldn't not even move,then I sent some pictures to Desiree,she told me the dr wanted to see me,she sent me this address (365 Madison ave,4th floor NY,when I got there dr Diktaban took sample from my butt,prescribes antibiotics and sent me home,and asked me to comeback to see him the next day,on Thursday Nov25 I returned feeling worse,I told him the fever didn't go down, What he did it to me later that day,I won't be able to never forget,it was the worse pain I felt in my life(I have two children,I know what pain is)He made a cut in each butt side and injected me with peroxide with something else,I was crying,screaming and begged him to stop, it felt that I was burning inside,he told me"I know it hurts,but I have to do it",fat or pus began to came out from under my left butt side,after that he sent me home and asked me to comeback next day,I came back on Friday Nov 26 and he said it's getting better,but I felt worse ,it was hard for me even to walk,I returned on Saturday Nov27 and he said the same"it is getting better "back home felling worse,pain was out of control with hight fever,my husband decided to take me to emergency room,I call Dr. Diktaban to let him know,and his answer I could not believe,he said if I was sure about my decision,because I don't have insurance,how you gonna paid for it he asked me ,he tried to convince by any way to don't go to the hospital,he asked me to let him try to fix it one more time on Sunday . At the hospital they said I had tachycardia,a SEPSIS as a result of a strong infection,the gluteal area had a open incision in each side with saturated gauze with purulent,foul smelling material. Immediately put me on antibiotics via intravenous,thanks God all the injected fat is gone,I was in the hospital for 13 days in which a thought I would die,all the pain and discomfort during this process was a nightmare,and what to say about the emotional part.I just had an appointment with dr. Diktaban(I don't want to se him),after he examined me,he told me everything looks very good,and he's happy with the results,can you believe it!!!(even if all the transferred fat is gone) Maybe he has experiene for other types of surgery but not for BBL,and that type of surgery can not be performed in an office,rather no procedure should be performed in that room with all those people coming and going all the time without any care. It is difficult to overcome all this,specially when I have the scars on my buttocks from the cuts as a reminder of what I experienced. read more

Worst place ever don't be fooled by nice exteriors!!! I came here to get a Fraxel procedure, the person there being the professional she is desuade me from getting that and recommends me to get not 1 but 2 VI peels, mind you I had very few scars that could have easily been gone with 1 Fraxel treatment. But I trusted the profesional. I actually even bought products for free care, when I read the ingredients and it has retinol in it!!! RETINOL FOR AN ALREADY ACUD TREATED FACE! That's how bad they are at their job! After the peel was done, my skin was way worst than when I came in, and the reason I know this is because my face is darker exactly in the places where the peel was applied, I've never been more self conscious of my skin than after this procedure. Not only that it was hard to get a response from the "profesional" and when I finally did, they made me wait for over an hour, with no resolution for my skin, but to wait and put me in a hydroquinone treatment for two months for a problem they causedwhatever you do don't go to this place, they are not the best and I learned that the hard way. Now I am stuck with hyperpigmented skin that I have to cover, and will have to spend a lot of money fixing what wasn't a problem in the first place. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and I'm always happy with my results. I had Smoothbeam done, which permanently got rid of cystic acne after literally three sessions. I've also gotten Fraxel and laser hair removal both with excellent results. The Fraxel got rid of stubborn scars and gave me a beautiful glow. Nice staff remodeled place. If you buy a laser hair removal package and they say it has a life time warranty make sure you get it in writing. The girls are super rude and they NEVER answer a phone call or respond an email. So it's impossible to contact them if you need to reschedule or make an appointment. I have never been in a place more unprofessional and what a waste of money. . I don't know how these people are allowed to do what they do. I am actually thinking of putting a complaint in the BBB. Before you get the surgery, they are extremely polite, once they get your money and surgery politeness is done. They are extremely rude and not apologetic at all that they screwed up. I had the smartlipo done (do not bother) I know 2 other girls that did it over there and they just don't do a good job. Mine was not done properly at all. From the beginning I knew it was not correct. Desiree tells me: " we just need to do these sessions and will be fine" here I go spending $200 per session (do a bunch of them) and it looks the same. Not once did they say, we are sorry we screwed up and now have to put you thru another smartlipo to fix our mistakes! They are charging me for it and have been rude and obnoxious for the whole process, like it's my fault the doctor did not do a good job. Do not go there, it's a waste of your money and both people running these offices shouldn't be. I opted not to do the redo as I don't trust these people know what they are doing and will do a good job. I don't want to go thru it all and then leave there in a worst shape that what they left me the first time. I just don't think they care! It does not make me comfortable at all. The doc was fine about it, Morgan on the other hand is a total ......... I won't say what I am thinking for the sake of being polite. If there was a minus star I would have chosen this for the review rating. The staff there is very helpful. Cannot blame them for the results as they encouraged me to come back and speak to the doctor who performed the surgery. I went in for lipo suction on my love handles (sides of the waist in the back). It started out as $5,000 then to my fault and I let them talk me into do the under bra roll in my back which really didn't need it. Total cost was $7,000. Into the fourth month recovery stage I visited the office and showed them what I thought was excess amount of fat still on my sides of my back. I was told that it was just inflamation and that I was still very swollen and bruised. I went back again after six months, same story then again in my 10th month. Well, to my disappointment, Dr. Levin saw me and said that he could understand why I was disappointed because there was still some fat there. He then preceeded to discuss with me that he took out the most he could (total of the entire back was 5cc's) because as soon as I started to bleed through he stopped. Then said that he would go in again for a mere $3,000 and redo my back. There was no way that he was doing it for free because if every unhappy client came back he would be doing lots of surgery. Mind you, his office staff did mention to me that since there was fat left behind and the results were very minimal, he would do it over again at no cost to me. (Doctor and office staff do not agree!) Lets get the story together now. I asked him, if you drew blood the first time and told me that that was the most he could take out, then why would I pay you to go back in for $3,000 and re-do the surgery. Are my results going to be any different? He said that if he was me, He would not waste my time. I wish, I had everything on tape recorder. He is lousy Doctor. If I didn't have tats on my back, I would post pics. I am furious and felt I was taken for a ride!!!! $7,000 wasted. Seriously.
