I also had their El Salvador on drip, and it was exactly what I'm looking for in a light roast. Bright, lively, and full of fruity and floral notes without veering into sour territory. Clean finish, expressive aromatics, and beautifully brewed. Between the quality of the coffee and the clarity of flavor in both drinks, Hatchet clearly knows what they're doing. Definitely a must-stop if you appreciate well-roasted, well-executed coffee.

He forgot to ask what sizes we wanted, and when I got my Campfire Cold Brew, it came without cream. The menu clearly said: Cold brew, marshmallow, Hershey chocolate, and cream. I thought maybe it wasn't my drink, but the young man confirmed it was. When I asked if it was supposed to have cream, he said no, but that he could add some. I double-checked the menu: "It says it comes with cream." That's when an older woman suddenly appeared, glaring. "There's cream right there," she snapped. I'm guessing she was his mom, given her signature mama bear energy. Sorry, lady! I was just trying to make sure I got what I paid for, especially since two small coffees cost $16. I have tried 5 different beans/roasts they have all been very good, and they were all roasted just a few days before I bought them. On our way home, we stop here, last chance. HALLELUJAH! THE REAL DEAL! When we arrived, the roasting vapors were coming out the "chimney vent" - a very good sign . We order cappuccinos. FABULOUS! FINALLY! I immediately have a second cup and my hubs tried the Parkway brew (loved it). Our server was very helpful and we left with a bag of Balsam Blend ground for use in my moka pot.
