It has been said that at retreats: you rest, you eat, you repeat. The best place to do these, hands down, is in Balay Indang. When you need a day or two of R&R, this is the place for you.
The Instagram-addicts among us (ehem, myself included) can find countless IG-worthy nooks and crannies here. Flowers abound, as well as Buddha statues, fountains, etc. There's even a Way of the Cross for those who want to tread the prayer path. The contemplative can hang out in the rooms or in silent cottages and corners. Those who want to swim can do so in the pool.
But arguably Balay Indang's biggest draw is it's dining area. Break your diets with their buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner! It's not the typical buffet where food is displayed on buffet tables where diners can line up. Instead, food is served on your table, and you can ask for unlimited refills.
They grow their own vegetables so salads here are extra fresh. (You can buy lettuce and homemade salad dressing to take home, too!)
They're not stingy on variety. We've had baked salmon, baby back ribs, beef and broccoli, among other mouth-watering viands! read more
