Our family has frequented Baker Donuts for over 20 years. When my oldest was about 4 years old, we had to stop all the time for donut holes. And now my youngest son stops all the time on the way to school. This local family owned business is a pilar in the community. They are always cheerful and happy to see their customers. I been going here for many year the prices has went up cause they charged me more but the prices on the screens are old and she said it changed and went up why not fix your menu? Let me TELL y'all, the donuts are even more amazing than they look. Again, the lovely folks behind the counter are very polite, the breakfast items are really good, but these donuts guys. They're so pillowy and light, but they also have the perfect chew donuts should have. The best donuts and kolaches! I get the small kolaches instead of the large because I don't like the pepper sausage they sometimes use in the large but that's just personal preference. I've tried most of the donut shops in the Sugarland/Missouri city area and this is my favorite. The donut glaze at most of the local shops around here is really thick & sweet and turns into a hard sugary shell on donut holes. The glaze at this shop is what I think of when I think of a traditional glazed donut. Also, their croissant sandwiches are by far the best ones I've had. They're perfectly flakey and buttery. At most places, they're more like croissant-shaped donut bread than actual croissants. We had high hopes for this place because its close to home and bustling on weekend mornings. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed. We must have come between batches, because the donut holes and chocolate donuts we ordered were cold, hard and had a thick, heavy bread texture that just doesn't go well with donuts. We'd be willing to try it again at a different time (we stopped by on a Sunday morning on the way to church), but our experience this time was pretty subpar - especially after waiting fifteen minutes in the drive through line! read more

I always see a line at this place, but have never been. I decided to go today (technically yesterday) to grab breakfast for my mom's birthday. This place is awesome!! They have so many options! Tacos, croissant sandwiches, various types of donuts, muffins and other stuff I didn't quite pay attention to due to being unfamiliar with the establishment (I got a little overwhelmed with the choices). It was a big hit with my family. I got a dozen glazed donuts (which I am normally kinda picky about donuts, but were WONDERFUL!), some sausage, egg and cheese croissants and some sausage cheese and jalapeño kolaches. The bread was delightful. I didn't get to try the croissant sandwiches, but I definitely will tomorrow because I snacks . The staff was excellent.
