I have contacted Baker's 3 times now and no one has called me back. I am very frustrated!!! All their customer service tells me is we will escalate that - they have no way of actually reaching out to anyone besides sending an email escalation. This is NOT a good way of doing business. My request is simple - We have a warranty for CarbonArmour - says its Lifetime and that it transfers to new owners - its from I'm The Guy - whom Baker's bought out. Baker's tells me they will still honor the warranty. My new owners would like written verification of this. That's all I am asking for! Why won't someone call me back???? I placed a deposit a few months ago thinking I had a cracked foundation. Ended up being a water leak in the house that got fixed. Bakers Waterproofing canceled my job, but still have my deposit of a little over $1900. I contacted the office yesterday to inquire about being refunded, but got no call back either yesterday or today. This is after I waited for a check for almost a month as I was told by one of the managers he would get me refunded. so not use this company. they did so many damages and a unprofessional install. they damaged my foundation with hitting it they also used a spray to lift stairs which failed. they broke and as theu over sorayed it they shot the material on to my brand new siding and damaged it. i been dealing with thei office girl for months i also had several visits by the conoany to inspect and was told they where sending companies out for estimates and nithing. its been 7 months and nothing from them. they even installed the box for the pump on there special vinyal covering that fovers the wall by tacking this alarm on it thats pulling off the wall. i cant believe these clowns are in business. this is being sent to the lawyer as im writting this time to sue. read more

Baker's Waterproofing was hired to put a sump pump and a commercial dehumidifier in our basement. They did not. Thus after review for several months the sump pump is too high. I asked multiple times about lowering the sump pump so it is lower than our floor and not higher which it is. I was told "this is how all of ours are". I want my sump pump lowered facing the floor. This is what I want. It shouldn't be a hard request to offer what the customer wants. Where it is higher I want it lower. I paid for a service and I want it the way I want it. I don't want to be given a runaround every time. When the last gentleman came he kept saying "I can lower it a quarter inch but that's not going to do much". I told him I am not arguing with him and whatever. I'm done with this company keep giving me a run around for only lowering our damn sump pump. They will continue to try to sell you the wall barrier system in which does not fix water issues it just masks them. We did not do the water barrier. You need to fix the issue from the start and not mask the issue. I will put in a complaint with the BBB. Don't use them. Of course I don't have my full name here. I had a great experience with the representative (Cory Meyer) that came to the house. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and concerns. He provided solutions to my basement issues. He followed up the next day with some added information he gathered from his boss which made me feel like he had a genuine interest in helping me resolve my waterproofing issues. DO NOT USE BAKERS WATERPROOFING. We hired Bakers in December for waterproofing our basement. They weren't the lowest price and they weren't the highest price but the Salesman/technician had experience and knew what he was talking about. After signing the contract and giving them a deposit, they came out in mid-May (2022) as agreed to. Two days before they came out, we were told they had contracted out the work another certified company, RES out of VA. They did a good job and the guys cleaned up the area daily and when the job was finished. After paid them and, we noticed that the walls we plastic panels were not used on the one side of the basement. These panels were in our contract and paid for. After several days of trying to get a hold of our Salesman ,we found out he was no longer with the company and the Asst. Sales Manager, Taylor called me back and when she looked at our contract she noticed right away the Brite walls were on the contract and not installed because they are on backorder for months. No one would ever have caught it if we hadn't called. Taylor said she would have about a $1000.00 credit check sent out to us form corporate. We'll its going on 5 weeks and no check. Of course I had to pay the balance of the contract 10 mins. after the job was done. We've been calling every week and Taylor has been helpful and nice but she has no control over the new corporate owners and just keeps telling us, it's been issued. The new corporate owners, GROUNDWORKS, DOES NOT CARE about the customer once they have their money. Forget about trying to get a hold of human at Groundworks. Very dissatisfied. We wasted well over $1000 and they were unable to resolve the issue after multiple visits. I asked for another worker or a refund and was not given either. They also did not reconnect our dryer as promised. Also very odd that their workmen ask for tips when being paid. I have never experienced this before. read more

Used them for annual service. They sent a tech over who took care of minor issues with the dehumidifier. I continue to recommend them.

We are extremely disappointed with this company. At the end of the summer of 2017,we had installed by the company, All Things Basementy, a sump pump system complete with a dehumidifier and insulation at the price of $11,000.00. On March, 2019, we called requesting a technician be sent to our property for maintenance of the system. We were scheduled for April 20, 2019. In the meanwhile, due to the enormous amount of rain, and the original misplacement of the end of the drain, water from our system was invading three of our neighbors properties, the one of the side and two behind us. Let us clarify that they placed the end of the drain at our property limit. We told our neighbors, because they were complaining to us, which they had a right to do, that we had an appointment on April 20, 2019 and that we would try to resolve the issue at that time. On April 19, 2019, we received a phone call from Basementy notifying us that they were cancelling the appointment because the technician who was supposed to come had been fired. They then told us that our new appointment was now May 24, 2019. To our embarassment, we had to call our neighbors to notify them to be patient because now we had to wait until May and we pleaded with them not to go to the Town Hall to make a formal complaint against us and subsequently Basementy. Now today, May 21, 2019, we received another phone call from Basementy once again cancelling the May 24, 2019 appointment, and no reason was given this time for the cancellation, and they rescheduled us for June 20, 2019. We called the company and presented our complaint. We spoke with Mike and he promised that he would call us back today after talking with his supervisor but he never called us back. So we just called the office at 6:30 p.m. and was told the office is closed and we were very offended. We were better off to leave water in our crawl space so we would never have been in this predicament of disturbing our neighbors. We were thinking of having some one come and fix the problem but we were worried that it may effect our warranty. ITG had a salesperson come and tell us how dangerous the mold was in our crawl space. He said we should not be in there without a respirator mask. He said the floor joists had been replaced due to the moisture (prior to when we bought the home) and said a French drain etc. would not work, we had to get this system. The crew shows up (not a professional crew), smoked on the job (I am allergic and have asthma), they did NOT wear respirator masks at any time, and tried to con me! The crew leader said he would do some work that was not included in the price (which found out a lot was not included in the extremely high price) and he would do it a lot cheaper but I could not tell ITG or he couldn't do it cheaper. He wanted me to pay him a few thousand cash. What the heck!! To top it off, I did not get everything the salesman proposed, I feel I was overcharged for what was done, the floor joists were never replaced, the mold was not that bad (nor was the water), I had an unprofessional crew, I had to fix some things myself afterwards (the drain pipe), I was lied to over and over to the point that they were contradicting themselves after a few days and the company just wanted me to hurry and sign for the loan so they could get paid. A BIG RIP-OFF!! My next stop may be to file a complaint with the state. read more

ITG stands for "I'm The Guy." Well, IT IS NOT THE GUY! The first night of free estimate Ron Gay and his assistant arrived 45 minutes late for the appointment. I decided to schedule the repair for Monday upon choosing to go with the company to have a steel beam installed. I was told they were working on Memorial day, only to have them reschedule the project for a later date on a Friday. I had to be home per phone conversation so I requested a day off of work. On the day of install, 3 country boys driving a pick up show up. They where unprepared and unsure of the job at my location. Therefore, I lost a days wage and 2 months time dealing with this company. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Avoid them at all costs. There are other contracting companies out there that can provide a much better service. Keep searching for something better and you will find the right guy for the job. read more

The actual installation and the system as well as the guarantee seem fine. We have had no heavy rains since installation so I don't know how well the systems is working. However, I had a number of concerns/problems. i paid extra to have them move things around in my basement which went well. However, they failed to protect a significant number of areas with plastic (examples a stereo covered with a lot of paper items, and a whole wall of bookcases and shelves). They were in a hurry to leave and were not going to return a number of things to their original locations (not the bulk of hat they moved originally) until we stopped them. They also unnecessarily damaged some linoleum in one room that could have been saved. I sent 3 emails to the company with these noting these deficiencies before anyone responded to me. I wish I had gone with another contractor who supposedly follows more homeowner friendly practices at approximately the same price. read more
