I just finished up a conestoga kitchen through cabinet joint. It tuned out pretty good. If you are not a designer, I would suggest that you spend the money and get one. We ran into a few hick-ups during our install due to us not knowing and our cabinet couch not catching the issues prior to moving forward. Most issues were easily fixed, but a couple of them we will just have to live with. This is because our upper cabinet height was too tall to accommodate the crown we ordered and we now have to rip all of the crown molding to make it thinner so we can install it and still be able to open our cabinets. We also have a taller cabinet for our bar that did not come with predrilled holes for a shelf or any self to place inside. Update: just got off the phone with Nick and he is going above and beyond to make sure that the last few issues we've encountered are fixed. read more

Working with them during the design process has been awful and I haven't even received my cabinets yet. The cabinet coach and designers seem like complete ametuers. The whole design process took over 2 months and now we're behind on starting. They're slow, make a ton of mistakes, and change things to after the fact without tell you. Right now I'm dealing with them changing my sink cabinet size without telling me after the final walkthrough. They delivered a new final package that was completely different when I asked them for a small adjustment for better drawer clearance. I even asked many times if my sink would fit from the beginning since they don't provide the appliance measurements on the drawing, and they said yes. Now my sink cabinet needs to be bigger and they shifted everything over and it's now too close to the door with more space between the window. Save yourself the headache and do the drawings yourself and order from somewhere else. read more

*Update: The owner emailed me and his primary concern was for me to edit this review - not to remedy my situation.* PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY unless you want damaged cabinets and no support! This company is a scam. I tried posting review on Google but it got removed. I sincerely think they remove bad reviews. The cabinets came cracked and damaged. They just left my damaged cabinets on the streets of Manhattan without notifying me. Some of the items are not sized correctly and they do not tell you that - for example, my spice rack that they sent does not fit into my cabinets. Cabinet Joint is very badly run and will not offer support to the if things go wrong. Over half of my cabinets came with damage (See pictures of examples - there are more than 25 cracks on the cabinets) and the customer has to figure this out themselves. Cabinet Joint is extremely unwilling to help and want to place all the blame on their shipping company. See other reviews who have said the same thing. My cabinets coach is named Joe. He was dismissive, condescending and passive aggressive in handling my situation when the majority of my cabinets arrived damaged. read more

Received in June 2022, our order of 5 cabinets in stained walnut. All doors and drawer fronts were beautiful. The price was not a bargain, but thought Conestoga cabinet quality would be worth it. The finished cabinets turned out beautiful, and am happy with the finished product. The problem is that I spent many days correcting manufacturing errors and poor quality control, before I could get them properly assembled. They did not go together like the assembly videos show. The biggest problem was that all of the dovetail joints of all the pieces of all the cabinets were incorrectly machined.(see photo) I literally hand chiseled each joint to make it fit properly. I do have woodworking skills and so was able to fix it all. I could have requested replacements, but my project would have to be on hold for who knows how long, and risked getting good replacements. A 5 day job turned into 3 weeks. I documented all the quality control problems in writing (there were more than just the dovetails) but never heard anything back from the Company. Beware if you are not a skilled woodworker. Otherwise... beautiful cabinets! read more

Absolutely Stunning!!! I knew from the initial form I filled out that the team at The Cabinet Joint would pay attention to details that we never expected or encountered in our research prior. Jim suggested items/ideas that were overlooked from the plan I sent to The Cabinet Joint which Home Depot originally "designed" for this kitchen. Oops did I say that? Jim & I went over each aspect thoroughly and after several MORE revisions and design element changes we agreed on the final layout. We purchased antiqued wood species and colour samples which made the decisions easy and went over the extensive videos to research the best decision we could possibly make. We all know just how expensive a kitchen can cost so getting it right the first time is crucial and it turned out perfectly! When the skids arrived I sorted them all out with SKU numbers up so easy retrieval was possible during assembly and it went very smoothly. I will admit I hired out the crown moulding cutting/install portion because I could not bear cutting those joints incorrectly! We priced our kitchen layout to several companies and with The Cabinet Joint we received a better built cabinet box and frame, more pieces, unlimited custom options and the best finish/colour/antiquing options of any builder on the market FOR LESS MONEY even with the unfavourable Canadian dollar currently!!! I am surprised to find there aren't that many reviews for kitchen cabinet makers and resellers. I am a homeowner and I had such a hard time finding cabinets/contractors in my area and spent over 4 months because I couldn't find anything I was thrilled with. Yes, I have Home Depot and Lowe's in my area, but they seemed overpriced for the quality. I've contacted and visited about dozen remodeling places and I've been quoted anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 just for cabinets for a small 10x10 kitchen. I guess I am picky when it comes to kitchen cabinets. Why wouldn't you? You have to live with it for at least 10-15 years. So after extensive research, I finally decided to go with RTA route for my kitchen cabinets. Conestoga seemed like one of the best RTA choices out there. Barker's, Costco, and Scherr's were others I considered. I actually really wanted Scherr's, but their wait was like 6 months. Anyway, when I called Conestoga, they recommended The Cabinet Joint as the reseller since Conestoga doesn't sell directly to home owners. Which sucks because I couldn't find reasonable contractors who were willing to order for me. So I worked directly with The Cabinet Joint from the beginning till the end. This was very time consuming and stressful because I had to make all decisions. Thankfully, I worked with Bob Long who is a brother of the owner, and my overall experience has been really great. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and prompt. He made this process little easier for me. PROS: - Decent quality cabinets. - So many choices! Overwhelming at times. - Fully customizable. I have 9 ft ceiling and wanted 48inch tall wall cabinets. Conestoga has many options to choose from. - The Cabinet Joint offers 3 year warranty which is more than what Conestoga offers. - Relatively quick delivery/ship time. CONS: - Design service is not fully reimburseable; it depends on the total amount spent. - Quality/Finishes - I guess there's no such thing as perfection in cabinets. The order was missing one front door and there were some scratches, dents, and small amount of different colored paint on the cabinet. - Price for a small 10x10 kitchen came out to about $12,000 which was little more than what I expected for RTA. Trims and moldings are WAY overpriced. One 8ft shoe molding costs about $45 and I can get one from home depot for about $8. If it weren't for the different white paint color, I wouldn't have ordered trims and moldings from here. You can save thousands. - Doesn't come w/ printable instructions so my contractor was having a hard time. My contractor messed up on few cabinet assemblies (another story - he didn't do his homework to watch online videos carefully). - They have instructional videos, but it could be organized better on their website. read more

We ordered our kitchen cabinets for a remodel from Cabinet Joint. We used their designer, Annie Newell, and couldn't be happier with our kitchen. I was very impressed with Jim's professionalism and am thrilled with the quality of the cabinets. This was a long distance custom order and there were definitely a few glitches, but Jim handled them well and overall I am happy with the results. It's not quite as easy as it looks. But, with patience and time (because we had to watch ALL the instruction videos multiple times to get a sense of assembly order), building our bath vanity cabinet from the Cabinet Joint was well worth the effort, as the cabinet is very high quality and looks amazing. Hubby is very handy with piles of tools, so we were able to accommodate the challenges like no bore holes in the back of the assembled drawer boxes and a shorter than needed toe backer. Myson was incredibly patient, helpful & responsive during the custom design and order process, and all the items arrived on time, together. If I were planning a project larger than a vanity counter, I'd hire an experienced cabinet installer. read more

I ordered the ready to assemble Conestoga cabinets online for my kitchen that I am remodeling and I was extremely happy with them. I purchased the natural dark walnut doors and they are absolutely beautiful - gorgeous color and grain and very natural. The cabinets are high quality and very easy to put together. They are designed and built so that even if you don't have experience with woodworking you can put them together correctly and accurately. The staff was very helpful and great to work with. They helped us revise our quote multiple times to get to our target price and answered many questions we had. They have so many options to choose from - a huge variety of colors, woods, styles and material and unbeatable prices. I recently renovated my kitchen and replaced all the doors and drawer heads through The Cabinet Joint. The quality of the product was excellent. The site was easy to navigate and view the products. Customer service was friendly and quite helpful. There was an accidental double charge through my credit card which the cabinet joint informed me of prior to my credit card company and refunded me the amount billed.
