The selection is great, the install went very smooth, and we felt as though the pricing was very fair for the product and work provided. Late in 2017 we made the decision to replace the carpeting in our Living Room and on our staircase. Back to Oberdorf's we went! The team at Oberdorf's worked with us every step of the way. When the staircase didn't come out quite as expected; I reached out to Kim (owner) to see what options we had. Kim made several trips to our home to assess our concerns, the situation, and to provide us with detail around exactly how odd our situation was in the flooring world. The initial issue was neither the fault of us or the team at Oberdorf's but they wanted to work to make it right. We were presented several options to consider by the team and today (31Jan18) they came out to finalize the installation. The end product looks fantastic (my wife and I are ecstatic)! I would recommend Kim and his team to anyone that was looking for a flooring contractor for their project. With the level of service they provided; will continue to be return customers for sure!

Oh there are so many things to say but I will stick to just one thing. Ordered tile for my kitchen…read more(total kitchen remodel), they came, measured, placed order. When came time to install, they said they couldn't install due to the fact that my house had a sub floor half concrete/half wood. Not their fault, not mine. I had to quickly pick some vinyl tile without knowing a price, etc. All I know is that there was ALOT less labor involved,. They charged me a 25% restocking fee to return the tile. It wasn't that I changed my mind, I wanted the porcelain tile -I still do...they couldn't install it (or they said they couldn't). Talked to my contractor that disagreed and said they should have been able to install. So I'm stuck with a floor I didn't want initially, they charged almost as much as what the porcelain tile floor would've costed, plus that restocking fee. A reputable place would have eaten the restocking fee cost to keep a customer...at the very least split the restocking fee with me but to charge me 100% of it and take no responsibility-unethical. Update: After posting my review on several sites, the company called me because they saw it. They removed the restocking fee and we talked it out. I appreciated the gesture.
