    Cherry Jubilee Pie - Slice
    Loveleen A.

Not too many of these locations left. Still has the old nostalgia of a family restaurant with the best pies! The menu is still traditional family friendly American food. The customers are older and in family groups. It reminds me when I used to come here as a kid. I still love the pies! Tried the seasonal Cherries Jubilee. Chocolate mousse and cherries with whipped cream. Delicious!

Stopped in for lunch with friends. The food was okay We all had the Reuben sandwich with various sides. The sandwiches were okay, but in the world of Reubens, these could use some work. 2 of the 4 had big gristle chunks. Our server was good, personable and prompt. The ambiance wasn't anything special but the restaurant seemed clean, so that's a win. Probably best as a pie stop.

French Silk Pie Slice - amazing!!!

Instead of cooking for hours and being tired all day on Thanksgiving, I would always volunteer to bake the pies! I would order those pies and pick them up! Convenient & delicious! Bakers Square is the solution to bringing the best pies to every event without having to bake for hours! When visiting MN, I had to stop and get a piece of French Silk Pie! It was as amazing as I remember! Predictably perfect in every way! Most Sincerely!!!!

    Free pie Wednesday

Ok... we lucked out and showed up on Free pie Wednesday and the place was super busy! Food is as I remembered it from 15 + years ago... I always got the chicken avocado melt with fries and on wheat bread. I was so happy it stayed consistent and still on the menu! The interior was a blast from the past too... not many locations left. We had an amazing server! He was fast and efficient. Plus he reminded me of Patrick Swayze. (Yes, I told him that) hahaha but he did! Overall, we might be back for free pie Wednesday when I get a craving for my sandwich again. Their wheat bread is so good and it has a chicken breast, avocado and mushrooms... it's not overly flavorful but comforting and that bread! My other half got the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet and he enjoyed it. It didn't look that great but he scarfed it! The free pie was given when you buy an entree and a drink. They didn't have my favorite (apple cheesecake) but I got the peanut butter cup pie to go. So rich and delicious. (Btw: You can get their pies at Famous Dave's too!)

Met our family here for our monthly breakfast. We go to different places and hadn't been here for a while. Our service was good and they still offer the four choice breakfast. You choose 4 items from a list. I got 2 eggs, toast, bacon and fruit. Was good.

Baker's 4: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, breakfast potatoes, and biscuit w/ gravy.

Sis and I wanted Sunday brunch. After striking out at 2 other places in Anoka, we remembered CR has a Baker's Square. Even though the parking lot looked busy, we were still able to find a parking spot. And after a short 15 min wait, we were sat at a clean booth. Our waitress, Beth, was friendly. We looked at the menu during our 15 min wait, so our order was taken right away, along with our beverages. And we didn't have to wait long before our food was delivered to the table. Sis got her eggs benedict. She was happy with it and her perfectly crispy hashbrowns. I wanted to try biscuits and gravy and found them as an option when ordering the Baker's Four. Pick 4 of many listed options. I did 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, breakfast potatoes, and the biscuit with gravy. It was good and served its breakfast purpose. The potatoes were soft inside and crunch outside but could be seasoned just a tich more. The gravy was okay but I've had better. Even though I saw ground sausage in the gravy, it lacked depth of flavor, richness. Paying the bill was easy table-side with a handheld CC machine.

This was our inaugural visit to Breakfast Square, as several acquaintances had highly recommended their breakfast offerings. We were thoroughly impressed. Our breakfast orders were expertly prepared, the server was attentive and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. Notably, the prices were comparable to those of Denny's, and their pancakes were exceptional.

Food was good I had the strawberry crepes, service was good and the food came out quickly! A solid option for breakfast for sure!

One register open with 20 people in line to pick up pies. No one to ring up restaurant guests. Employees milling about doing nothing.

After 20 minutes of not one single server stopping by to take our drink order or even greet us, we got up and walked out. I've been here a couple of times in the past for banquets and the food has been great with excellent service. But after 20 minutes of no recognition, I won't be back and I won't be recommending it anymore.

Pour is in a little strip mall. They have added black curtains and some cozy seating areas from when we were here last. Nice updates. Our waitress was very accomdating until she got busy then we felt we were forgotten. We ordered the Drunken shrimp , bread with olive oil and the avocado toast to start with. The drunken shrimp is just as good as we remember the saffron sauce is sooooo good! but there were 3 of us sharing the apps and it only came with 2 crostini's we asked for a 3rd so we could each have one but little did we know that one very small skinny piece of bread had a $1.00 charge to it. The steak bites with their homemade blue cheese sauce was to die for melt in your mouth!! I even asked if we could buy some of the blue cheese sauce, she said no but that she would bring us another dish of it but she never did. My girlfriend ordered a cranberry mule drink, she was charged an extra $1.00 for the cranberry. We also ordered the goat cheese with sauces that were very delicious with an ample amount of crackers. We got the chocolate Ganache cake to share for dessert. But............ the waitress never took our empty dirty plates but showed up with the dessert with the mess on table, I asked for extra clean plates but she never brought them. Everything we ordered was very delicious, but as the night progressed our service got worse, we asked for the bill but she never came back to get our payment and we had questions my girlfriend walked it up to the bartender with our payments. 2 of us were paying cash and one a credit card and we were charged an extra fee of $5.18 for her using a credit card. That is when we saw the $1.00 charge for 1 piece 3/8" bread and the $1.00 for cranberry mule. Talk about nickel and diming. We would love to go back but unsure if I can get past some of these things. Also, now looking at the bill even closer, none of us had a mimosa and we were charged $8.95 for one.How did we miss that? All added up we paid $16.00 more than we should have. CRAZY!! Sadly, Don't know if I'll be back.

I also recommend booking at least a week in advance. A friend said they couldn't go on said date on a Wednesday. I looked for that upcoming weekend and the weekend was sold out. FOOD: The food was delicious. Despite the tray looks small, I was full halfway in. I have no concerns or complaints of their food. Every pastries, sandwiches, and dessert were delicious. My favorite was the apple chai scone. I love their lemon curd. I love everything on their savory course. I haven't tried the dessert yet. I had to take it home because I had leftovers. The tea was delicious too! It is unlimited. They bring a pot to you. I tried the Mad Hatter Holiday (cinnamon, clove, cranberry & orange) and French Creme Brulee. Out of the two, my favorite was the Mad Hatter Holiday. The Creme Brulee was too weird for me as a tea. They offered sugar cubes, creme, and honey too. PARKING: They had a decent size parking lot on their property, as well as across the street. DRESS CODE: On their website, they mention tasteful, on the side of overdressed. I saw children in sundresses. Women wore jeans with a nice shirt. One guest had a gothic/rocker vibe with her black shirt, pleather skirt, tights, and boots. STAFF: Friendly, approachable, and professional.
