Sal's Lemon Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies

I found this place not far from NYU Langone Hospital. It's a small bakery. They have everything listed on their website. I'm a sucker for lemon and raspberries and they happen to have a lemon raspberry cookie. The cookie is a soft cake like cookie. My favorite kind. It was very big. Overall a good cookie. I would have liked more lemon flavor to cut the sweetness. I also tried the snickerdoodle. Nice soft cookie but thinner than the lemon cookie. Great cinnamon flavor. Not overpowering cinnamon flavor. I also got the banana muffin. It has nice banana flavor but a very dense muffin. It maybe a little strange at first but not bad. Overall nice bakery.

Decadent options and original takes on traditional desserts. I tried the carrot cake, the gluten free brownie and the banana chocolate chip cuple. They were all yummy, but my vote would go to the carrot cake... it was fantastic!

What a treat! I have Celiac's, and it is often difficult to find quality treats when out and about. Jen was very clear and empathetic about cross contamination (I had zero effects!) and clearly is passionate about what she does. A long day out as a traveler, talking with her and absolutely DESTROYING several of her gluten free chocolate loaves was a joy. I can't wait to visit again.

AJ chocolate chip cookie was marvelous soft chewy thin you could almost say dietetic, but it was great. The two of them were evaporated even before I got home. What a nice place for Murray Hill and anybody who's thinking of coming here it's small, but the menu is big. Jen is delightful explained everything that she had and recommended a few favorites. I was amazed that the wide selection the menu is on the wall on the right or you could come here and take a look wholeheartedly recommend this place for any desserts. You may have everybody will be delighted at the combinations and also will cheer on for their success.

Cold brew 10/10

The menu has a lot of interesting tapas-style options, and since I wasn't quite sure how hungry I was, I decided to start with the tofu bacon bao. It came with two steamed bao buns filled with crispy tofu bacon, avocado, and arugula. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors lived up to it. The tofu was sliced into thin, crispy strips that added a great texture, while a light, creamy sauce tied everything together without overpowering the other ingredients. The avocado was perfectly ripe, and the buns were assembled thoughtfully, with just the right balance of fillings instead of being stuffed to the point where everything falls out. The two bao buns ended up being the perfect amount of food for me. They were satisfying without being too heavy and still left room for an ice cream stop afterward. If I'd had a bigger appetite, I definitely would have been tempted to order a few more dishes. Overall, I really enjoyed both the food and the service. The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was inviting, and the bao were excellent. I'd happily come back to explore more of the menu.

I was in NYC for work and wandered in for brunch, and immediately loved the space...cozy, colorful, lively, and a genuinely diverse crowd. It has that very New York "I accidentally found a cool neighborhood brunch spot" energy. The menu is equally fun and a little unexpected. I ordered the waffle Benedict, which swaps the traditional English muffin for waffles. On paper, this is exactly the kind of unnecessary brunch invention I support. The waffles were good, but the meat was the weak link here. The bacon tasted pretty low quality and super fatty, and the chicken sausage was okay. I loved the concept, but the execution didn't quite live up to the idea. If you're looking for a cute brunch spot with okay food and a creative menu, UT Kitchen fits the bill. I wouldn't order it for delivery as the atmosphere is a big part of the appeal. I have to give them credit for the creativity and a vibe they've absolutely nailed.

Great bagel sandwiches (sausage egg & cheese was my favorite!) and their iced coffees were amazing! They serve them in plastic/metal sealed containers so they tend to stay cold longer. I tried 3 different coffees in 3 days and they were all great! Service can be a little slow at times because it gets CROWDED in the mornings, but I won't knock them for that. Also there is only a tiny area to sit but it's NYC so that is typical.

For it being our first time, we were a little confused with the ordering process, and they were so busy that it took a while to be acknowledged. There were kiosks to place the order, but we couldn't find a place to request special requirements, so we had to figure out how we could order at the register amongst the slew of other customers. Our order for 2 bacon egg and cheeses were called with a biscoff iced latte and we were excited at first. But when we opened the sandwiches our bacon was just 3, maybe 4 fatty pieces when we specifically asked for crispy bacon. My husband settled for his, but I requested a reorder where they corrected the bacon issue, and even put more slices. Besides that snafu, I was excited for my latte, but was also underwhelmed by the taste. I assumed since it was a biscoff cookie latte (which I love) that it would be sweeter... The establishment was nice, and there were so many selections, so we would give it another try before writing it off completely.

It would be nice if any of the signs or tags showed that information. To me, it seems a little deceptive , like those Mr Softee trucks that don't post prices so the guy just charges what he thinks you'll pay. I prefer transparency. Anyway, he rang something up again, which was fine but then he said something about refunding it, but the receipt he showed was for two sodas. A refund was unnecessary and nothing we asked for. In any event, we didn't eat the pizza. And if for some reason my charge did not go through (although it shows in my Google Pay), I'm happy to pay for the slice that I threw away. The people who work there seem nice enough and it's good that there is a gluten free option for people. Some gluten free food is pretty good but this was very dry and lacked flavor. I don't know what the cheese was but it had a powdery texture. But I'm not a gluten free expert so all I know is that this did not taste good to me. If you have a gluten free diet, give this place a shot. I wish them the best.

Last year, I was at Nothing Really Matters, the bar next door, with a group of friends. Someone ordered pizza, and I had no idea where it came from. I just remember thinking, "Wow, this pizza is really good." That memory stuck with me, so when a friend and I decided to stop by See No Evil Pizza yesterday, I was excited to finally visit. I didn't realize reservations were recommended, but thankfully Ariel, the host, was able to fit us in. Ariel was fantastic - he was friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating despite us showing up without a reservation. Ariel provided excellent service from the moment we walked in until we left. I didn't take any photos, which I now regret, because their pepperoni pizza was salty, addictive, and just really, really good. The pepperoni was crisp, the crust had that perfect char and crunch, and I couldn't stop reaching for another slice. The restaurant is small, cozy, and inviting. If you've been thinking about checking this place out, go for it. You won't regret it.
