I have no clue why German reviews end up in 4 stars, but that certainly does not correspond to the quality of the food!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Traditional Bavarian in style with a menu to suit the locale. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful and prompt. A great feature of these places is the speed at which things arrive at your table. The place was full with various groups celebrating Christmas events yet, drinks arrived quickly and the food was also there promptly. I had a Zweibelrostbraten for main. The flavours were amazing and the pan fried potatoes were to die for :-) the only complaint was the fried onions were too salty making me really thirsty. The Apfelkücherl for dessert was the best I have had in Bavaria thus far. All in all a great meal and I really enjoyed it. I would come back here again. Perhaps during the day to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some good Bavarian fare. Prices are reasonable and service is quick. It's worth the trip to Ismaning ;-))

It is not romantic, and the Indian staff is absolutely not trained to western restaurant etiquette as you would expect in an expensive restaurant. For example: a table doesn't have one designated waiter, so questions are asked double and when the food or drinks come there is confusion as to what table wanted at and who ordered what. What the staff does very well though is being warm, friendly and honest. There is a jar with lollypops which I guess is one of the reasons there were a fair amount of families with children. This is an excellent place to go with friends, family. Music is playing very softly and the decoration is nice. I made a photo that I will add. The toilets were a bit old but clean.
