We drove an hour and a half to this smog check place in Baker since one of our cars is still registered in California. It was not a bad of a drive from Vegas and the service was quick! It probably took us a good 10 minutes total and not as busy as I thought it would be. Although this location only opens on Saturday, it was better than driving further away. They only take cash and we paid $80 for our smog check. I would recommend this place for those who are moving to Vegas and still need to get their Cali stuff done. Not much in the area but Mad Greek Cafe is always a good spot to eat! Followed by some Alien Jerky and Lottery tickets lol. Happy servicing Yelpers! read more

Absolutely amazing service! Really nice guy he's the perfect alternative if you live in Vegas but cars registered in CA. The ride there was actually therapeutic a little over an hour and there's some nice bites to grab before heading back! Here are the basics: only open Saturdays, opens at 9am but get there early because guess what: you're not the only one needing a smog, bring cash and be prepared: have paperwork in hand and it'll all go quick & easy. Super quick, easy to find, perfect if you need a Sat trip for a smog check from Vegas! Most if not, all are closed. Took about 1.5hrs to get to and the guy is pretty nice. He also suggested that the Mad Greek cafe was really good, he was right! Great grub for the ride read more

This place is definitely worth driving for anyone that lives in Vegas but needs a smog check under California state. I was kind of hesitant on going here to get my smog check but this place is actually legit. Anyone that lives in Vegas and needs a smog in Cali this is the closest place, although the price is a lot more expensive than other places it's better than having to drive deep in California. My car is registered in California, but I stay in Vegas. So this was the closest smog check in California. At first it was a little odd, it's basically an empty building with a quiet man inside. He checks your car with a full point visual inspection which I appreciated. It's very pricey for a smog check, but I didn't want to drive any further. read more
