He removed a lot of old wallpaper, patched up years worth of nail holes and imperfections, and even helped me pick new modern colors since I was so indecisive. My house still looks as good as new and it's been 4 years. I plan to reach out for an exterior paint estimate soon. Highly recommend!

Worst paint job ever…read more They 'completed' the job when I found they had 'lost' a piece of siding from the chimney...never told me or replaced it until I complained. The roofer who came out after told me that the side of the chimney that isn't visible from the ground was never painted at all. That has been verified in photos. They put the primer on when rain was scheduled...it ran off and they didn't redo it. Many places on the house were just not painted, you can see that the underside of each piece of siding is still the old color (beige). Neighbor who watched it done said they sprayed but didn't back brush at all. They did it in July 2019 and the paint didn't last, starting coming off in sections after two years. Also, they are just rude! Stepped on my drainage gutters and wouldn't replace. Put my front door rugs on top of my shrubs, killing one of them. Clean up was poor. Called me at work and yelled at me when I wouldn't tell my 10 year old child to open the door to give them some paint and then wanted her to write them a check? Told me it would be no problem to come back out after the roofers to do touch-ups but they didn't and they never came back to fix all the spots they missed (despite my documenting and sending photos.) Put drainage pipes on the 2nd story back crooked (it's in the front and very noticeably crooked.). They came back to 'fix it' and it's still not straight. Many other gutter downspouts were never properly re-attached. Never saw Brent after he took my check. Just don't.

Jon responded to my phone inquiry right away, his quote was extremely reasonable and I can tell he truly cared about doing a good job. I reached out for a interior painting proposal on yelp and received several replies. Flowers Colors…read moreInterior Painting was able to get to the location soonest, which is why I chose them. What I did not like: 1. tried to call the contractor in the middle of the job instead of going back and forth on text. He stated that his phone couldn't take phone calls. After service fees and product reimbursement, I spent nearly $5,000, I really think that I am entitled to a voice-to-voice to smooth things over, and understand the painting challenges inside the house 2. A couple of times during the text messaging I didn't respond within several minutes which was met with a text like "??". Contrary to popular belief, I don't sit at my desk, staring at my phone, waiting to respond to text messages. Like many people, I leave my phone on silent as I go about my day 3. At the end of the project, the crew painted over many metal outlet covers and put them in a bucket to soak the paint off. I'm in a different state, and not able to commute to the location to perform work that I assumed fell under the contract. Further, the contractor stated that the crew was going to go back out to the location and clean it up. We did not find evidence that the clean up occurred 4. As part of the cleanup I uploaded several pictures that a different contractor sent me of the interior paint job. The cleanup was incomplete, the job was left 95% complete. That last 5% matters when selling a residential building remotely 5. Despite agreeing ahead of time that paying by check was acceptable, I ended up sending Apple payments three times. I paid the 25% down payment immediately and the two subsequent Apply payments the same day as they were requested 6. The contractor complained to me that the paint wasn't taking at the house. I advised at the very beginning that the house was a smoking/tobacco house and that I was told that the walls needed to be cleaned by Soilex, then primed, then painted, as paint doesn't stick to nicotine stained walls. I have no idea if this methodology was followed, although I assume that it was not initially followed, based on the complaint that the paint was not sticking to the walls Disappointed, not recommended

Yesterday, he completed the remodel of our kitchen - tearing out walls and opening up our kitchen and living room. I will never hire anyone ever again to do work on our house. He communicates extremely well, checks in appropriately, and truly takes great pride in every single detail of his work. The work in both of our areas was just like watching one of those TV shows - super fast, super clean, and in the least intrusive way as possible. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give it to him. We found Jeff randomly a few years ago - he came and repaired our chimney that was falling apart. He was the first one to respond to my request and the job was completed extremely well and fast. I didn't know him at all before he did our chimney - and the rest is now history. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the wallpaper installation performed by Nicolas Sopa of…read moreAbstract Painting Plus. Nicolas installed expensive, high-end wallpaper in two areas, and the finished workmanship was not what I would expect from a professional installer. There were numerous issues with the installation, including uneven and poorly finished cuts, sloppy corners with excess and dangling pieces, and areas where the wallpaper was not properly adhered and is already lifting. The powder room had similar finishing issues. The handling of the wallpaper itself was also concerning. I observed a significant amount of crumpled and wasted material and saw the wallpaper being cut and handled in a way that did not demonstrate the care I would expect when working with expensive material. We also paid to have several outlet/switch covers and a laundry cover wallpapered. One was not completed, and the laundry cover was taken with the understanding that it would be finished and returned. It was never returned. Some covers and other areas were left with painter's tape. Most disappointing, however, was the lack of follow-through after the installation. I have made multiple attempts to contact Nicolas to discuss the workmanship and give him an opportunity to address the issues, but I have not received a response. I have photos of the finished work I had hoped to include so that others can see the workmanship for themselves. I would have much preferred to resolve these concerns directly, but after repeated unanswered attempts, I feel it is fair to share my experience.

Never mind the gut feeling that I should've gone with Danny but lessons are learned the hard way sometimes... Fast forward months later, far too much frustration & regret, still waiting for a botched job to be complete & the original contractor no longer showing up to finish the job, I contacted Danny again asking him for another quote to finish the work and hoping he wouldn't be insulted that I didn't go with him originally. Needless to say, he was incredibly cool about it and was able to stop by within a couple of days to see what his guys were working with. Not only is the bigger job now complete within a couple of weeks of me contacting Danny, but also a few other smaller areas that had been an eye sore for too many years. Danny always responds quickly, communicated frequently throughout the process, checks in on his team and answered all of the many, many questions I've had along the way. I tend to notice every imperfection and have yet to find any with the work done by his team. His team is efficient, skilled, friendly and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Also, it's awesome to have contractors show up on time when they say they will to do the job (not always my experience)! I highly recommend Danny's for any size drywall job you need done. He is professional, reliable and goes above and beyond. I'm incredibly thankful to Danny & his team for the quick turnaround and beautiful job done in my home. The customer service and quality of work from Danny & team are everything you hope for from a contractor and is quite a relief after too many less than ideal contractor experiences over the years. There is no doubt I'll be using Danny again for future jobs!
