Robin runs a tight ship, and when I met her, she was clearly a thoughtful perfectionist that could get the job done with flying colors (and then some). In fact, I felt part of the extra cost over a run-of-the-mill cake baker was justified with the fact that I knew from the first meeting that this was one part of the event I wouldn't need to worry about at all. Aside from the first brainstorming meeting, choosing our flavor selection, sending inspirational photos/swatches, timing and payment, there was no extraneous follow-up needed, no info mix-ups, no dramarama with other vendors &c. This was especially a treat since I was planning long-distance. Oh, and I'm told the various flavors were also delicious. I have to admit, I didn't get to try much of it, so I'm really excited to try the top of the cake in about a year..
