It also allows for seating inside and access to the seating out on the patio more easily accessible. The cases are rearranged now and they've added gelato. I didn't try that, but it looked interesting. The worker who waited on me was so kind and helpful, and apologized for answering the phone while I was in there (there was no need, because you're running a business, I get it), but she was so polite! They always have a fun assortment of flavors of cupcakes but it's rather hit or miss what quality you will get. They have fun combinations and flavors and are always beautiful, but sometimes they are quite dense, sometimes super moist, and sometimes dry and will nearly choke you. My default cupcake is always the yellow cake with chocolate icing. I feel like it's hard to mess up. However, I tried a cookie this most recent time and didn't love it. It was really thick and hard to eat. The flavor wasn't great, either. This is definitely somewhere to stop in and try- just to say you did it. They were on Cupcake Wars, after all.

I ordered the white wine poundcake, banana pudding cake, and the red velvet cube. When I tell you that the poundcake was moist-whew it increased the humidity in the room!! From the look of it, it's unassuming like an ordinary Grandma's poundcake. This is rival's your Me-maw's poundcake. It also had the perfect buttery crispy edge at the bottom. Those who no poundcake know what I'm referring to. Now my favorite, the red velvet cube, is in a darling reusable container. The favor and moistness had my licking my spork a toddler. I also had the banana pudding cake -- don't judge me, or label me a glutton-- I was eating all of this for research purposes lol. I really enjoyed the banana pudding cake as well because it did not have bananas in it. That unique order option is what sealed the deal for me. Definitely will continue to order dessert from Ta'Nisha Monique's when I am in town. If Ta'Nisha Monique shipps --Lawd on my waistline!

They are soft and very tasty! The spinach one has spinach and some type of creamy cheese sauce on a flaky, soft pastry. The chocolate one is a smallish with dark chocolate on the inside. The dark chocolate is rich and bold, and never too sweet. I also ordered an iced mocha latte made with oat milk, which is my go to wherever espresso based gourmet Coffee drinks are sold. I got the 16 ounce oat milk and asked to how many shots of espresso it has and to my dismay and disappointment The barista told me that it only had one... However, to add an additional shot there would be no extra cost. Of course, knowing that made up for the fact that the 16 ounce only has one shot. Of course I added an additional shot. The mocha latte was very flavorful, and not too sweet as I could really taste the richness of the espresso. My only complaint about it is that it wasn't cold as it should've been. Other than that it was absolutely positively delicious! The barista and the cashier and the other employee were so kind and helpful as I had questions. If you haven't been to Dulce aroma on Peter's Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem you're definitely missing out! They always have lively Mexican music playing in the background, adding to the cool and lovely vibe of this wonderful bakery! It's bright and Will organized as well. The prices are also reasonable. Each pastry has a different price For example, my chocolate croissant was $2.99 and my spinach one was $3.99. I considered these to be excellent prices as you all know that everything has doubled and tripled in price in this horrible economy We're in right now!

This artisan bakery has undergone all health and department of agriculture inspections and been approved to prepare baked goods for wholesale and private sale. If you've never ordered a cake from a home bakery, we will walk you through the process we followed step by step. For our family, it started with deciding what type of cake my mom would like for her birthday, my dad would like for his birthday, and both parents would enjoy for their anniversary. My parents love old fashioned layer cakes with mountains of airy frosting. We browsed the photos and list of cake flavors in the Notes section on the WitsEnd Facebook page. Mom decided upon a coconut cake for her birthday. This was no ordinary coconut cake. Dubbed Grandma's Coconut Cake, the enticing dessert had been soaked for two days to saturate the cake with coconut flavor, then iced in a fluffy frosting and covered in flaked coconut. Six glorious layers of moist cake were slathered in a towering light-as-air frosting. Vicki Crouser, the owner of WitsEnd, has a contact number for the business on Facebook. We called, placed our order, and arranged a date to pick up the cake. When you work with any home bakery, due to restrictions you won't be able to pick up a cake directly at their home. You will arrange a time and public place for the cake delivery. This was quite convenient for us. Jerry met Vicki at the New Town Square shopping center at an agreed upon time on a day he planned on running other errands. Dad adores fruit .The Banana Pudding Cake was a perfect choice for his birthday treat. Four layers of sumptuous banana cake were filled with creamy banana frosting and vanilla wafer crumbles. This lavish sweet was hand delivered neatly in a labeled, sealed, cardboard cake box. If you don't finish the cake in one sitting, plan on making room in your refrigerator. All of the WitsEnd cakes use fresh butter and eggs. My parent's anniversary cake was a meeting of the minds so to speak. The Mandarin Orange Cake had the mandarin orange pieces my mom loves and the pineapple my dad cannot resist. The confection was an ambrosial tropical paradise. With all three cakes, we had no issues ordering or picking up the desserts. Vicki was always on time to deliver her box of sugary bliss. The WitsEnd Bakery Facebook also showcases beautifully decorated custom cakes for weddings and themed birthday parties. They make a variety of cookies like chocolate mint, chocolate berry, peanut butter tap taps, chocolate chip, gingerbread, and molasses. Several local restaurants serve WitsEnd Bakery cakes. For your next special occasion, veer away from the grocery store and head towards a local baker like WitsEnd bakery. I wasn't there, so I can't speak to the layout and setup, but she thought the spot was inviting. We ended up with 6 cupcakes (2 chocolate, a honey bun, carrot cake and 2 vanilla) and added 3 brown butter choc chip cookies and a confetti cookie sandwich. The honey bun cupcakes had more of a cinnamon flavor going for it, but one thing I enjoyed was the frosting. I was glad to not have frosting that was ridiculously sweet. The cake was dense.....not dry, but denser than what you'd get from spots nearby, including the chain places. I think it paired well with the frosting, but don't expect the cake part to be light and fluffy. I keep going back to the frosting....was very silky tasting. The same with the vanilla cupcakes...cake itself was dense but did have vanilla flavor and you can tell she uses real vanilla. Frosting was exceptional as well. I haven't tried the chocolate one yet, but my wife says it was the best one of the group so far. Regarding the cookies, I'll say that brown butter ones are ok, but not my preference as I prefer a bit of a more buttery flavor? Idk if I'm making sense here, but I prefer something different as far as a more not as sweet cookie and sweet choc chips. There's have great texture and the choc chips are great too. The flavor is too sweet for me though. Again, not my preferred type of choc chip, but it doesn't take away from how it was baked and the texture. I think the only knock would be the honey bun flavor tasting like a cinnamon roll? It was still decent though and got ate regardless. We're already planning another trip to check out their brownies and some of their other stuff.
