Carnitas Taco Plate
Dilenia A.

Had the carnitas taco plate w/their special margarita. It didn't disappoint, it was so good and seasoned to perfection.

Guacamole and chips

Baja Taco was really good! The chips were fresh and crispy, and the guacamole was creamy with great flavor. I loved the cheese on top--it made it even better. Simple, fresh, and tasty.

Taco Sampler ( beef, coconut shrimp, fish. )

Killer tacos and bowls. Great portion size and seasoning. Friendly staff and clean restaurant, convenient location. Try it out!

For a little hole in the wall restaurant it wasn't that bad smell place with tables and chairs casual ambiance. The service was self serve so the only service was the person cooking or making drinks . The food was ok not the best but when you're hungry it's good

Baja Fish Taco, Chipotle Chicken Taco & Ground Beef Taco (taco sampler) with a refreshing vodka soda.
Erber D.

This food was delicious and drink was refreshing. The server suggested I try the trio taco sampler if I wanted some different tastes so I already knew the service was off to a GREAT start. The restaurant itself is located right next to the Country Music Hall of Fame and had both indoor and outdoor seating. It was the perfect setting for a post-museum bite. The tacos were absolutely AMAZING.

Sexto Salad with smoked pork

Bajo Taco is adjacent to and in the same building as the Country Music Hall of Fame and is just as convenient and offers better food choices than the museum cafe (which I admit I did not try but cmon who are we kidding here). Avoid the watered down Horchata and get the Sexto Salad with smoked pork - mouthwateringly tender and blends incredibly well with the fresh spring greens/romaine, guacamole, steamed long grain rice, chips, radish slices and coquita cheese. Every bite is a symphony of flavors - it will not disappoint. That's all

Two Baja Fish Tacos, rice and beans lunch special

Super convenient made to order meals at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. Located near the gift shops on the first floor, this was just what I needed after touring the museum.

Carnita & Chipotle Chicken tacos
Adam H.

Stopped in before Saturday's hockey game and the place was packed. The line moved slow at first but picked up quick. The staff was friendly and killed the rush. I had ordered the combo plate with Carnita and Chipotle chicken tacos at $14. While it's a little pricier than I like to pay for tacos that's everywhere now and not just here. Service was quick and the food was amazing. Definitely a go to when I want tacos in the area.

Pretty good deal

This is an easy place to pop into after touring Hall of Fame or other Nashville sites. It's clean, the food was tasty and it's busy. Order and pay at the counter, then take a number and they'll bring your food. My guest and I both liked our dishes. I got the Two Taco daily special for $14 that comes with small sides of rice and beans. The tacos were presented nicely but could use a bit more of the sides. It's enough to satisfy and get you back to seeing the Nashville sites. Drinks are bottled or ice water- no fountain. It's crowded inside as tables are close together, but there is an outdoor area too. All in all, a nice stop and since we get a little discount for being CMHOF members we will probably return.

$7 pre-show margaritas!

What's not to like? $7 pre-show Margaritas before concerts hockey/ everything? Give them a try!

Lunch specials 2 tacos and rice

Serviceable lunch right across the street from the convention center. The food didn't blow my mind, but it wasn't trash either. Fed me with something that wasn't disgustingly greasy. I had a beef hard shell, chicken soft shell and rice. It was just enough food for what I was looking for. Also tried an Agua Fresca which was refreshing on the hot day. Staff was quick, making the line move fast. The wait time to get food was also fine. Not super speedy, but not slow.

Heather G.

Was in town for a work conference at the music city center. This restaurant is directly across the street from it. They have seating outside and some inside. For the lunch rush on a hot day, there is definitely not enough room inside for everyone. Tried the fish taco and the hot chicken taco. The tacos are small - street taco size, so if you come hungry plan on 3-4 tacos. I definitely recommend both. Very tasty! I also liked that the tortillas are also fresh! There are not any fountain drinks, so be prepared to buy a bottled drink. (Photo is from my coworker as I was already half way done with mine)

Tacos are excellent (and thank you for the choice of corn tortillas), meats are flavorful, the drink choices hit the spot, and the service and laid-back ambiance are spot-on. (A big shout out to the more obscure classic rock and blues that they play.) The salsa bar provides a nice variety of flavors to add to the meal. The only problem? They don't have a location closer to West Nashville. Alas.

Little Rey - Nashville, Tennessee…read more Overall Rating: 4.6 Little Rey in Nashville delivers a casual, approachable take on the taqueria experience, with some impressive flavors, a few noticeable misses, and a welcoming atmosphere. During my visit, I ordered the #1 Chicken al Carbón and #3 Steak al Carbón, both prepared Costra Style, along with Cilantro Lime Rice, a small Chile con Queso with chips, and a small Soft Serve Ice Cream topped with Chocolate Syrup. #1 Chicken al Carbón - 3.2/5 The chicken was well-seasoned and flavorful, but unfortunately, the texture didn't quite deliver. The meat was noticeably dry and slightly tough, taking away from what otherwise could have been an excellent taco. The Costra Style preparation added a nice dimension, but the chicken itself needed a little more attention. #3 Steak al Carbón - 4.6/5 The steak was the stronger of the two tacos, delivering excellent flavor and a satisfying overall experience. However, both tacos would have benefited from a more generous portion of fresh onions and cilantro. Another noticeable omission was the lack of lime wedges. That fresh squeeze of lime is a simple but important finishing touch that helps bring together the flavors of a great taco. Cilantro Lime Rice - 4.9/5 One of the highlights of the meal. The rice was flavorful, with an enjoyable texture and a well-balanced combination of cilantro and lime. A simple side dish executed exceptionally well. Chile con Queso - 4.9/5 Another standout. The queso delivered excellent flavor and a satisfying texture. Rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best parts of the meal. Tortilla Chips - 2/5 Unfortunately, the chips were the biggest disappointment. They tasted stale, lacked any noticeable salt, and were excessively greasy. Considering how good the queso was, the poor quality of the chips was particularly disappointing. Fresh, properly seasoned chips would have made a significant difference. Soft Serve Ice Cream with Chocolate Syrup - 5/5 An excellent way to finish the meal. The soft serve was sweet, creamy, and delicious on its own, but the chocolate syrup was the real game changer. Sometimes the simplest desserts are the most satisfying, and this one certainly delivered. Service & Atmosphere Service was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. The interior dining space reminded me quite a bit of Chipotle, with a clean, functional, fast-casual layout. While perfectly comfortable, it didn't offer much in the way of a distinctive taqueria atmosphere. The real ambiance comes from the patio at the front of the restaurant. That outdoor space captures the relaxed, inviting feel of a neighborhood taqueria and gives Little Rey much of its personality. Final Thoughts - 4.7/5 Little Rey has a lot going for it, particularly its bold flavors, excellent sides, friendly staff, and inviting patio. The steak taco, cilantro lime rice, queso, and soft serve were all enjoyable, but the dry chicken, disappointing chips, limited taco garnishes, and missing lime wedges kept the overall experience from reaching its full potential. Would I return? Absolutely. There is enough here to warrant another visit, and with a little more attention to consistency and the small details, Little Rey could deliver an even better dining experience. Overall: 4.8 out of 5 -- Good food, great potential, and a few opportunities for improvement.
