Captain's Log Day 1:…read moreService was subpar. I had to wait at least 30 minutes for a drink, there was absolutely no bar food available even though they advertised. It was a total cockfest when they had their free drink night, the guy to girl ratio was 5:1. There was nobody named Nick in there. There were roaches and rats and I think I saw some retards lighting a fire on the roof too. DO NOT GO Day 2: The bar atmosphere definitely changed. Bar food was served, decorations were hung, alcohol variety increased, and customer service was not that bad. The bartender and one particular customer were being very rude to me though. The bartender was drinking hardcore on the job and so was the customer. I had a rough time the night before and morning of, yet they kept pressuring me to take shots. They would insult me, threaten to "milk" my gooch, and constantly bring up my non-American nationality. Towards the end after I was very intoxicated the scene got a bit better. I guess you should come if you're feeling risky.

I stumbled across this place on a Friday night on what they call Stetsons on the Moon. They open…read morethe doors at 8PM and offer free line dancing classes soon there after. They had a $10 cover, but that was ok because the place was jumping. They have a decent sized private parking lot and there a few additional parking spots across the street. They even had a guy out there blocking traffic as people crossed the street. The staff there was generally nice, especially for a bar. The place is huge. They have a snack bar with a decent sized dining area and a lounge like are off of the snack bar that was open air, so there was smoking going on in there. That is where they were hosting karaoke. The main part of the place has a huge dance floor and they had a stage area behind it with a mechanical bull going. There is a full bar on each end of the dance floor and seating with tables on an elevated area in the back. The place had a younger crowd, or maybe I am just getting older. Naw, it is definitely a younger crowd. They had drink specials and some hot country music booming until about 11PM. I do not know where the people learned theses dances from. But they wee all on point and were like they were choreographed. It was like I was in a scene from Footloose. I was impressed. Almost got me to look for line dancing lessons. After about 11, they turned up and starting playing hip-hop and dance music. That is when it got wild and that is when I had to leave. This place has an awesome light show, is very trendy and has a cool vibe. It is very spacious and I would love to have/or go to an event here. I really enjoyed my visit. It is definitely a place worth checking out and keeping tabs on what events they have going on.

Disappointed and Concerned - Avoid Township…read more I visited Township near closing time with my wife, daughter, and her boyfriend. We ordered drinks around 1:50 AM and were peacefully enjoying them when, at 2:00 AM, a security guard aggressively demanded that I leave--even though I clearly explained I was waiting for my wife. Despite my calm explanation, he became confrontational and even violent. I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Township. There are far better places in town that prioritize the safety and dignity of their guests.

Shocked and Disappointed by Township…read more I went to Township with close family friends--some of the kindest, most generous people I know. What should've been a normal night out turned into a disturbing situation. My friend's wife and daughter were in the bathroom after ordering drinks just before closing. The security guard aggressively demanded that we leave immediately, despite us explaining we were simply waiting for them to come out. Even after tipping generously and being calm and respectful, the security guard continued to escalate. I was with them and asked for just a moment, but instead of showing understanding, he physically pushed them out. As soon as their family came out of the bathroom, they were met with aggression instead of basic decency. My friend's father asked Matt, the manager, to step in and de-escalate--but Matt did nothing. He said he couldn't do anything because the security guard "runs the show." That's unacceptable, and frankly, dangerous. This is not how any bar--especially one in a college town--should treat respectful guests or FSU families. I won't be going back, and I urge others to avoid Township before someone truly gets hurt. It's not worth the risk.

There are two bars but they only had one up and running. There are only a few arcade games. It would be nice to have more to enjoy. The bartender was knowledgeable and fast at his craft. The prices are comparable with other bars. The bar area in the front (the only one open) was clean. It was a bit small for the amount of people at the event. The four stars is for the lack of restrooms for the size of the venue. Like a bar the bathrooms were dirty and not cared for. Only two inside the main bar and venue area. People standing and church pew seating were blocking the main in and out so that made it difficult to get to the other restrooms. Also, church pew seating is horrible. Uncomfortable and not good for enjoying shows provided by Fire Betty's Arcade Bar. Overall, good experience and fun atmosphere. Based on changing locations and other factors you can see the owners are heading in the right direction in making this the place to be in Tally.

You can (I did) hold an empty beer bottle up in the air for 4 minutes before you catch their attention. From my first visit, I knew to stop by Whataburger and grab some ketchup packs, knowing I would probably need them; once more, different bartender but same thing--basket of fries slammed down and she walks away, no napkins, offer of ketchup, etc. Girls (bartenders are female) obviously not hired for their efficiency or effectiveness. They are sexy; I will give them that, just not good bar staff. The "20% gratuity added automatically after 9pm" kills any reason to tend to customers. Nice looking place, clean place, but not an enjoyable place to relax.
