Fantastic
This place is a real gem !
The food is fabulous. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is top-notch.
My friend and I were in the mood for some italian food and found this place on google. We got lucky and got the last available table.
This is a small three-man operation that can seat a maximum of twenty-four diners.
There is a waiter, a cook and a guy who appears who to be constantly doing all the cleaning in the kitchen. We had a clear view of the kitchen from where we were seated.
The waiter and cook are from the "heel" of Italy, a place called Brindisi. The guy who was doing the cleaning is from Rome.
We noted that they had an impressive menu but no spaghetti. We asked if we could get spaghetti. The cook came out and said he would be happy to prepare some spaghetti for us and recommended a seafood sauce. We ordered a small pizza called the "4 Stagioni" as an appetizer. The pizza was rustic and delicious. When the spaghetti arrived, I was very impressed with the preparation, portion and the aroma ! The sauce had mussels, octopus, squid and a nice big prawn sitting on the top. I'm sure there were other ingredients as well, but I didn't ask. I can honestly say this was the best plate of spaghetti I ever had and my friend said the same.
The cook would occasionally come out and ask the diners how they were enjoying the food. I watched every single one praise the quality of the food. Of course, we did too.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we were the second-last to leave. the staff was super friendly and we talked about their business and where they came from.
We had pizza, spaghetti, beers, desert and cappuccinos. the total came to 59 euros.
That was yesterday. We're going again today : )
