That being said, I never had a good experience with any tire shops prior. Either they don't care or they hate their jobs. The manager Randy, certainly loves his job. Super knowledgeable, and honest. 2 tire balances, a road force balance, a test drive, over the course of 4 appointments and I was finding myself a little annoyed at the situation. The tires were found to be defective, and there was no hesitation to rectify the situation. Tires were ordered, claims on warranty were presumably made, and new tires installed right away. Although a shop like this charges slightly more than others, it's because they incorporate road hazard insurance, balancing and rotations into the cost. I'm glad I purchased my tires from them, and I recommend for anyone looking for a no hassle no headache experience, and included support on tire maintenance. Special thanks to Randy. I came in simply asking for clarification about my Jeep and why they were refusing to release it, and instead of acting like someone in customer service, she acted like I was bothering her for asking basic questions. While I was speaking to her, she was banging her hands on the desk, cutting me off, and repeating herself like that somehow counted as an explanation. She kept saying they had not received payment from the insurance company, so I was "not getting my car," but refused to clearly explain the actual discrepancy--other than the fact that now their mechanic suddenly wants more money for labor after an amount was already agreed to. So let me get this straight: the customer is the one left without a vehicle because Pep Boys wants to change the deal after the fact? Completely unacceptable. What really showed how trash the customer service is here was when I was still in the middle of trying to get answers and Lindsey literally looked past me and said, "How can I help you, sir?" to the customer behind me before I was even finished speaking. That level of disrespect was insane. And to make it even worse, she was rude to him too--basically telling him "Nope, we don't do that here" before walking off to the garage. No updates. No phone calls. No communication. I was told I would be kept informed, and instead I had to drive to the shop myself just to find out what was going on with my own vehicle. He removed and replaced a U Bolt on my rear axle very efficiently and his service was excellent plus he is a very good man. I got a quote for 6 new tires and I might just go back in 2 years to replace them all. Putting just 69 miles a month on the tires means they could last 2 more years.
