All of different vibes so we got a huge variety everywhere The first winery was calm & Quaint - Great wines and the perfect way to start. we had lunch at Finca Altozano and it was just delicious! So much variety for vegetarians and meat eaters!! My friends and I weren't too sure of how the process would be since they picked us up after we walked across the border. We booked our rides through WhatsApp and the communication was super easy. They were super responsive, and the day before our designated rides, they shared the driver's number for us to connect directly. Our driver down to Valle was named Elias and made the whole process so simple! He picked us right outside of where we came out after crossing the border. He was super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the drive. He told us a little bit about Valle and how he's lived there for 25 years. On my way back, I had a different driver, who was Natalie. She was super nice and the ride back was so quick, probably because it was the morning and traffic wasn't too bad in Tijuana yet. She was helpful in directing me to find the line to cross the border. Without the direction from her, I would have definitely been confused. They made this whole process so seamless! They were on time and available for all the questions I had leading up to the rides as well. I will for sure use them in the future any time I'm traveling somewhere driving distance in Mexico!

They can pick you up as soon as you cross into TJ and then drop you off back at the boarder crossing. Lorenzo and his team will handle booking winery reservations and dinner reservations where needed and work with you to tailor an experience. Need recommendations? MS tours knows all the spots very well! If your Spanish is lacking Lorenzo and the drivers tag along and make sure you feel comfortable ordering and with any questions at the wineries. (also most wineries in the Valle and place in Baja in general speak english as well). On a typical tour we like to grab tacos by Ensenada then hit up 2-3 wineries and dinner before heading back. Also have used their services for a bachelor party. We stayed in La Fonda area and had the drivers pick us up and take us around Ensenada for a night. Van sizes range from smaller to large party vans. I think we've had up to 15+ people before

My fiance and I decided to plan a trip to the Valle to celebrate both of our birthdays as well as…read moreour 5 year anniversary. We were reading online that rideshares aren't really accessible there and that hiring a private driver is more the norm so we opted to go that route. We were considering several different options but since we were bringing our 93 pound fur baby with us, we needed to make sure we found a company that was dog friendly. Initially, this is what separated Ansell from the rest but the level of service and communication they showed us really left us feeling that we had found the best choice possible. We were coming to the Valle to spend 5 full days and we knew that we wanted to mostly spend that time wine tasting but also were hoping to get recommendations on other things we could do in the region. I had a handful of wineries that I knew I wanted to check out, but apart from that Ansell basically planned out our itineraries for us. In the weeks leading up to our trip Ansell presented several different itinerary options, fine tuning them with our input as the date got closer. The end result was 3 days of wine tasting in the Valle with a lunch stop in between, and 2 days exploring downtown Ensenada as well as making a trip out to Puerto Nuevo, a nearby fishing village noted for its lobster. I also told them that I was planning to propose to my now-fiance and they went above and beyond in helping me select a great venue! Upon meeting our driver, Victor, we felt completely vindicated in our decision. Victor demonstrated a great deal of hospitality as well as knowledge of the region. His recommandations were always spot on and we are so glad we had the privilege of having him as our guide for the full 5 days. Not only was Victor extremely professional, he also was a great conversationalist. My fiance doesn't speak any Spanish (although she definitely learned how to say "no muerde" and "es un perro fresa" during our stay), so it was very helpful that Victor is bilingual. We had many cultural exchanges. My fiance's native language is Russian so we got to teach him some Russian phrases and he taught us about Mexican and Ensenada history. By the time the sun was setting on our last day with Victor, the mood was bittersweet. We felt as though we were saying goodbye to a friend. We know we will be back to the Valle and when we do, we will definitely be asking for Victor and I definitely recommend that anyone reading this to do the same

I got this offer, and read it at FACE VALUE. I read it, though, as a 62 YEAR OLD w/ Memory Issues, ENOUGH SAID. I am trying one more time to be as clear as possible. OR, maybe just won't review Ansell Tours!!! Although we were under the impression it was to be an ALL INCLUSIVE TOUR because all of this conversation was in reference to the ONLINE FLYER, it didn't turn out that way. NOTE: We saw the same basic NON-INCLUSIVE tour on Trip Advisor for $265.00. Due to the $300.00 DIFFERENCE, we were pretty CERTAIN that our tour was in fact the ALL INCLUSIVE TOUR, as we initially discussed W/ Ana!!! NOW, for the tour itself: WE ADMIT TO DELETING A WINERY: We did so because of the 1) UNEXPECTED EXPENSE, and because of the 2) large amount of wine for me. As for the restaurant, that was due to a suggestion from the DRIVER!!! I had wanted to go LATITUDE 32, but when my partner learned it wasn't included, he was upset. DRIVER CLEMENTE suggested the change to my partner, in SPANISH. We had EARLIER communicated with ANA, about what was included at lunch, and she assured us we could order anything off the menu. APPARENTLY, not so!!! I should also point the reservation team is not always available, CONTRARY TO WHAT THEY SAY!!! I would sometimes write with questions, and they would go UNANSWERED. I asked 5 times about getting La Bufadora to be included, instead of a winery, AND NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. In addition, I asked why private tours were half as expensive on Trip Advisor, compared to our tour. NO RESPONSE. HOWEVER, we did get a big, beautiful black SUBURBAN, as promised!!! Although it arrived an hour early, we were forewarned. CLEMENTE, was our driver, DAPPER, ON TIME, and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY!!! First WINERY: Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards. It consisted of several small Spanish-like buildings. We each had a wine tasting. Approximately, $65.00, UNEXPECTED EXPENSE!!! Second WINERY: Finca LA CARRODILLA. It was nice, but it was raised up very high WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR. I was able to walk up the s equivalent of two floors. AT THIS WINERY, we decided to have 1 tasting and 1 bottle (TAKE HOME). We chose to take it home in a very nice wooden box. Approximately, $65.00, UNEXPECTED!!! LUNCH: La Cocina de Doña Esthela. It came with a Michelin Star, but that seemed questionable. We went there on the advice of the driver, CLEMENTE. It was decent food and fairly well priced. COST FOR 3, including driver initially $75.00. (As we waited for the car, the waiter came running out looking for us, mumbling something in Spanish. When my partner returned minutes later, he had about $25 in hand in PESOS!!!) He said, after that whole thing, they said that they had admitted to OVERCHARGING US!!! So: $50.00. Final WINERY: Rondo del Valle Winery. It was my favorite due to its SIZE, STYLE AND ARCHITECTURE. Solid CEMENTE. It was a hot day, but on the inside it had big, beautiful overstuffed and colorful couches. In addition, there were was a HUGE CIRCULAR FAN!!! We had wine tastings, and we got a bottle of a blush wine in a box, bubble wrapped!!! I almost got an ICE CREAM, they were DELICIOUSLY TEMPTING!!! Approximately, $75.00, UNEXPECTED EXPENSE!!! We were then taken back to the hotel. We arrived at 4:00 PM. Initially, we were given a return time of 6:45 PM. If I'm not mistaken, that would have been enough time to drive to La Bufadora, AND BACK!!! Enough with the nonsense, PATRICK!!! I was told by our DRIVER, this had happened to others before. Was I out of place to think that we could get LA BUFADORA, as a Last Stop???
