While in the area, we stopped by Baja Fresh for a quick lunch which we enjoyed in their outdoor area. Service was fast and prompt, nothing special, but decent, no drama. Food was ready pretty fast, I don't expect things to get done too fast since I expect some quality and effort put into it. At Baja, I usually go with their quesadialla platter, I love their guac. I love this Baja Fresh. Their food has always been on point, and they're the most consistent one I ever been to because their food is always perfect. I've been getting the Baja Burrito as far back as I can remember, and this restaurant always manages to get it EXACTLY the way I like it. I ordered the tostada salad with chicken and black beans ($11.50). Each meal comes with a small bag of chips. The quesadillas came with a very generous side of guacamole nad a side of sour cream. Portion size was way more than either of them could finish. Good taste and great value. We stopped by on Sunday evening and ordered Chkn Bowl and a Chkn Ultimo Burrito. Halfway through eating my burrito, I found a piece of glass/hard plastic, with one sharp corner and approximately 1"x1.5" in size inside the burrito. The store manager had already left the store. The cashier called him at my request. The manager ( Junior) told me that they don't use glass/hard plastic in the kitchen line, did not apologize and offered to provide a refund or another burrito. When I came over to ask for a few more napkins he placed them on the opposite side of where I was standing so I had to walk over there to get them. Just really bad customer service. There was a young kid that worked there that was mopping and sweeping the floor and the smell of the mopping was very very strong and I wanted to eat my food in peace also and I asked this worker if he could come back and mop the area that I'm in a little bit later that I wouldn't be very long eating if he could do me that favor. He yelled out to the sleazy manager that I didn't want him to mop around my area and I said to the manager if I could just have 10 minutes to eat my food and then I will leave and then he can mop this area? And the manager said no and I thought to myself wow exceptionally bad customer service and rude. I'm never coming back here again.
