Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. I ordered the coconut margarita (not on HH) a must !!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet and tasty! We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. When we got there, there was a DJ playing 80s/90s throwbacks. It was good music and vibes, but it was quite loud, we could barely hear ourselves speak. Luckily he wasn't there too long, as brunch-time was over. We ordered Mango margaritas, chips & salsa, birria tacos, tinga taquitos, elote, and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Every single thing was delicious. I was highly impressed. This place will definitely be in the rotation. If I didn't live so far away, I would go for happy hour.

You know it's good when there's a long line. As far as the tacos. Their pastor was soild. The Asada was good but a bit chewy. The buche and cabeza were great. The tripas were good, but I wish they made it crisper. Even though I ask it to be, anyway. Also, their horchata is fantastic, not too sweet. Overall, good tacos and friendly vibes.

I sat with my back to the salsa bar, so I didn't see it until after I finished eating and my spouse said something about a "toppings bar." That was unfortunate, because I kept thinking I wanted more salsa. Note to self: if you don't get salsa with your chips, look for a salsa bar. Service was prompt and very friendly. The space was sunny and welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking at Trader Joe's in the back. In the 1980s I came to Woodland Hills for church and had no idea this taqueria was here. I'm glad I found this place on my first visit back to the area in decades. I'm surprised that the ratings are not higher. I will definitely look out for Poquito Mas if life takes me back to the Valley.

It's definitely a higher traffic area compared to the old location. Not sure if they left because of this or the neighbors booted them out. From what I can remember, they are opened until around 2am on Friday/Saturdays. They are usually closed on Mondays and close around 12am from T-Thurs. Their prices used to be around $2 per when they first started. It's gone up to $2.50 per now. They are cash only from what I can recall. I don't know if they accept Venmo/Zelle like other locations do. For me, this is probably the best taco stand in the West Hills area. They do not make their own tortillas, but I really like the flavor they infuse on their meats. I always order al pastor, cabeza, buche, tripas, lengua or brisket. They have avocado, and hot salsas to go with their food. For the most part, the food is prepped pretty fast and I never have to wait long. They are usually done prepping my food even before I finish packing up my condiments.
