Very knowledgeable and friendly staff with a huge variety. I think it's a little far out there from the ferry but it's worth the drive!

Now that the compost has settled, there are bits and pieces of plastic floating on top of the soil. We have ended up with a yard full of plastic debris. I am not happy.

As a small scale backyard gardener it can be overwhelming when you need more than a bag or two of garden soil and delivery rates can be quite the budget buster if you don't have a pickup truck at your disposal to haul bulk soil. After calling around this spring and comparing to rates I've paid in the past Olympic Organics was the most affordable I found by a long shot with reasonable delivery fees as well and I love that they're using both local residential and commercial sources in their organic materials. Was able to schedule delivery within a few days, prepaid over the phone and put a tarp out in the driveway on delivery day. My order arrived exactly within the delivery window and with the tarp set out very little instruction had to be given on my part on arrival. The Bremerton location opened in 2018 but Olympic Organics has been serving Kitsap County for 7 years. I'm not sure how I've not found them until now but the hand written thank you card from Tami with my printed receipt was a professional and friendly touch. I'll also note here that during the Covid shutdown of 2020 Olympic Organics waived delivery fees completely to support our local garden communities in addition to donating 5 yards of garden soil to South Kitsap Helpline's food bank garden. I'm happy to support this small business so engrained in the local garden community and you should too! Will certainly be ordering again.

I googled bamboo and found out there's more to know about bamboo than I imagined. Once we figured…read moreout a general direction to go, we contacted all of the local bambo outfits including one in Portland. After gathering way too much info and comparing, we called Cascade Gardens. George Gearhart was easy to talk to, answered a miriad of questions, then gave us a great deal on two 15 gallon Fargesia Robustas that were already 10-12' tall. There may be bigger outfits in the area but no one knew as much or had as beautiful bamboo specimins as George at Cascade. As the real estate broker, SeattleViewHomes.com I collect A+ vendors, subcontractors, tradesmen and techs. George is the latest top of the list of vendor I will refer my clients to.

I am so grateful to have gotten good advice from a knowledgeable resource. George even suggested methods which didn't involve Cascade Gardens' services until later in the process, which was refreshing...I was getting good advice instead of just marketing. Thanks George! I will absolutely use Cascade Gardens and recommend them to anyone looking to remove their bamboo!

He sprayed the hydroseed on like an artist, as if he was painting a picture and the picture turned our well. I like their guarentee too that the job will be done right or they will fix it. Our automatic sprinklers watered the new hydroseed and after 7 days, the grass starting coming up just like planned. It looks very nice and looks better everyday as it grows. I've included pictures of the progress. If I was going to hydroseed the yard again, I would call NW Bulldozing & Hydroseeding and ask for Paul to come out and get it done. We're very happy customers and can rest easy knowing that if there is ever a problem with the lawn, they will come out and take care of it. One of my sprinklers failed after the hydroseed was installed When our landscaping contractor came out and replaced the sprinkler head a couple days later, it's hard to even tell. The grass came in so fast it covered the spot that was repaired. Nice work.

What a terribly run place!…read more I placed an order for a gift to be delivered 10 days in advance - they "missed" the order, written on the back of another order and never delivered it. When I called about it they offered to send something later still!!! They clearly cannot be counted on to deliver when they say they will - complete scatterbrain who is totally unreliable. I will NEVER count on anything from them again.

Apparently she called Pipper's and told them it was important that the bouquet should LAST. She was very specific about that. It didn't. When it arrived, it was beautiful (honestly, way to go, Pipper's, it really was gorgeous!). Nice mix of flowers, lovely container, floral foam so required watering every day, which I did, diligently. Despite my best efforts and considerable knowledge about how to keep cut flowers fresh, it did NOT last. I literally have a bouquet of flowers that I put together 3 weeks ago and, with some "pruning", is still beautiful. Every flower in the bouquet we received from Pipper's was exhausted by day 3. Normally I wouldn't post a negative review about anyone, ever. But, it was a really big deal to my distant relative. And she had specifically asked for a bouquet that would "last". I didn't tell her about it and I won't tell her about it but, Pipper's, come on! Did you think you could take the easy/cheap route because the purchaser was out of state? Simply not okay.
