I decided to try this salon based on the good reviews. While it was clean, quiet and not busy, it was not the best mani/pedi around. Manicure, I told the woman to file a little, that I had already shortened my nails. She proceeded to file away at least half of the length and then they were uneven. Some short to the finger some longer. She was also quite rough and broke a nail. The polish was okay. Pedicure, good massage and cleaning up. Terrible polish job. The tips were rough and the nail art flower looked like something a young child would wear. Go there for a good basic mani/pedi but do not expect much. read more

I come here all the time to get my nails done. Fast, excellent service and great prices. I get a gel French manicure that will last at least 3-4 weeks! read more

$45 for a French shellac and spa pedicure. Made an appointment for a post work manicure and came in around 6:00 (though there was no need, the place was empty). The manicurists ushered me into a chair and promptly started filing/pumicing/shaping away. One of my FAVORITE things about this nail salon is that it is the only nail salon I have been to where the manicurists try to push additional things on you for additional costs. At this place, it was $45 for a French shellac and pedicure. That's it. No additional $2 for longer nails, or $3 for extra top coat, etc... Anyways, 1 hour later my toes were sparkling red and my fingers were perfectly manicured. It's been a few days and they both still look like they had just been done. Will be back! read more

The only thing I can comment on is a manicure, and the ladies who worked there were SUPER NICE, and it looked like a really clean, great place...I WANTED to love it, but my (natural) nails were put under a UV light for curing gel/acrylic nails, and the polish bubbled up and looked like doo-doo. I'm also spoiled by my regular nail place (and yes, I do the goofy things like get flowers and s**t on my nails...don't hate!) but she looked at me kinda weird when I asked for a decoration or something...ANYWAYS, the polish was ruined by the UV lamp, so I had to take it off when I got home later - a waste of a manicure :( read more

This spot is located right across from MV cal train station. What a prime spot! Certainly caught my attention. Don't be fooled. After reading yelp reviews I decided to check it out. I walked in and immediately asked if they take walk - ins. Great, they do! I asked for a fill with gel polish. The lady told me she had no time bc she had too many appointments. Ok, fine. Then why take walk-ins? She said she was the only one who could do a fill. I looked around and saw multiple people filing away. Having one person who could only perform a fill must decrease business revenue for them, right? I certainly won't be bringing my business here. My business went 1 block away. read more

Prices have apparently gone up and they didn't mention that at the beginning. There are also no signs showing prices. The gel manicure was $30 and a regular pedicure was $30. Service and quality were great though. read more

I get my haircut here from last 2 years. Appointments are not required. Usually quiet and less crowded before 5pm. Nice and clean. Frank is friendly. Haircut ($14) takes 20 min. read more

Since moving to the city I still drive an hour down to get my hair cut. Frank's the best

Got a nice gel french mani. Workers are nice. Will not return because gel nail started peeling after 10 days. Gel nails usually last me 3 weeks from my go to salons. read more

I love this nail salon. $20 for a gel manicure and my nails have always looked perfect and lasted. I've even come here once to have them fix a crappy manicure from another salon (that I unwisely went to when this salon was closed & I needed a manicure stat). They stay open late and their gel polish selection is pretty good. Won't go anywhere else now. read more

Best $20 pedicure you could imagine! They give your feet a nice scrubbing, massage with lotion and hot stone, and have a good selection of OPI colors. The 5 massage chairs are nice (but no cupholder so forget sipping on something or keeping your purse handy), with clean tubs and floors. The walls are bare but background music provide a little ambiance. What I appreciate most is the women smile at you and are friendly, don't try to upsell you on additional services or nail art and always take me as a walk-in. I just have to remember they're closed on Sunday when I'm in the area for farmer's market and would otherwise be tempted for a quick stop in. read more

The best budget nail salon in south bay! They do a fantastic job and only charge $25 (+ taxes & tip) for a pedicure. They even do a mini hot stone foot run as their signature thing. Very clean and professional. Be sure to make an appointment so that you don't miss out. read more

Frank gives great men's haircuts! He takes extra effort to make sure that you leave looking fresh and only $14, you can't beat that. I will never go to Supercuts again. read more

Frank rules! I have followed him from the previous location for hair cuts. He is simply the best. read more

Great place, convenient, affordable, friendly staff and atmosphere

For a standard pedicure, this is a reasonable place. The foot bath I used was a little old and creaky--it kept making groaning noises. But the massage chair worked just fine, and my toenails look great. Good price, good service. On a Monday at 4 pm I had no wait. read more

I live 3000 miles away from this salon now... and I still go back every chance I get. THAT is how much I love this salon and Jenny. 12 hour layover in the Bay Area - I came here. Day before my wedding? I got my french shellac done here. Jenny is reliably good and the price is so reasonable that a generous tip is more than deserved. Don't let the humble decor fool you; you'll get a fantastic long-lasting mani/pedi and great service. read more

Fast and friendly barber. I have easy hair so that might be a factor. Can't beat the price either. Place looks nice too and is conveniently located read more

I found this salon on Yelp and I am so glad I did. Superb service, clean, friendly place. Alisa did my nails and she is very good. My nails look great and she was so friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure and I will go back to them anytime. read more

Used to get gel nails regularly but stopped after moving to the Bay Area 3 years ago because the cost. I started to miss "feeling pretty" so I came to Baileys Salon. It's close to my house, they were $5 cheaper than other salons and had pretty open availability! The pedicure was awesome! They did a good job on the massage but the color didn't last as long as it normally does on my toes or the gel on my fingers. I was shocked with the gel on my fingers because the salon I always went to in fresno- the gel never chipped and it lasted about 3 weeks! Here, they looked grown out on day two and chipped after the first week. Wanted to have them done again, to give them another shot but still not what I was used to... the second set hasn't chipped but they don't last as long. Gonna have to try somewhere else next time. read more

I've been going to this salon for over a year now and it is really excellent. Jenny and Frank (married couple) run the place and they are both really friendly and professional. Jenny is a wonderful esthetician and hair colorist and Frank has stepped in to do my hair as well. They have great prices and they both call customers by first name. High recommendation! read more

I had a pedicure here, I walked in and they were able to help me right away. The lady who did the pedicure was friendly and didn't try to talk my ear off, which I always appreciate. The nail area was very clean. My only complaint is that the pedicurist didn't remove the calluses on my heels completely, but for $25 I think I will be back. read more

I recently got a pedicure done here, and I was really disappointed. My heels still felt rough after the pedicure, and when I pointed this out, I was told that there was nothing they could do about it! Also, while I was trying to adjust the massage chair's settings, the pedicurist cut one of my nails without asking me what length I wanted them to be. It ended up being too short :( I had to get all the rest done short too, so that it looked symmetrical. Moreover, my right foot's big toe nail was cut at a horrible angle. It looked really slanted. Again, when I complained, I was told that it grew like that. Really? Come on. This place was cheap, but that's it. I think I will stick with my old pedicure place, until I can find another cheaper, but still decent place. read more

I was disappointed. I got a basic manicure with no polish (as in, I asked for bare nails) -- so there's a huge time savings for the salon there, but there are still remnants from my previous gel manicure. I've experienced quite a bit better. I see other great reviews, so maybe there are other great manicurists, and to be fair, they did squeeze me in, but a chance of a low quality job just isn't worth it. With Jeanie's at San Antonio and El Camino, I probably won't come back. read more

Great place for affordable nail service! I got a Shellac manicure and a regular pedicure for $40 ($20 each). The ladies were friendly and provided great service. The regular pedicure included a hot stone massage and quick scrub at no additional cost. Some other nail salons I've been to consider the massage and scrub as a deluxe spa pedicure and charges extra so I was happy that this was included in the regular pedicure. The lady who did my manicure was very meticulous and put on several coats of polish to make sure it was perfect. Overall, I was very satisfied with my nails at such reasonable prices! Parking is easiest to find in the lot behind the salon. They have special spots reserved for their salon which makes it very convenient to find parking, especially in this busy area. They accept both appointments and walk-ins. I came in on a week night and it was not busy at all. read more

Walked in for the first time to friendly and wonderful service. They were patient, caring and down to earth folks who didn't push you to sell other services. They did a wonderful job with my manicure for $12. I came at lunch time and it wasn't busy, which was a plus. I'll definitely come back to try their mani & pedi after work--heard that it is $45 for both. :) Shellac is $20 and with french tip $25 which I would like to try next time too. read more

Came here for a pedicure on a Friday in the evening. I called two hours before hand and was able to make an appointment. I love the peaceful atmosphere and all ladies were very friendly and professional. I LOVE my nails! This place is a no BS place. For 25$ I got an amazing pedicure that I couldn't have even gotten in SF at a high end spa for double that. The pedicure included a hot stone massage which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely coming back! read more

Id give this place 3 stars at best after first , that's because they were able to take me last minute on a Saturday, and even fit in my daughters bangs cut between appointments. Hot Stone massage As part of their regular pedicure is a nice touch too. And they are nice and Smiley. However they actually cut back of my foot to blood with pumice stone, and hurt me trying to take off artificial nails then left them half on half Off and in much worse shape then before we got there ( eg one hand filed square one left round, 1 nail off etc), even tho I asked a few times to fix. meanwhile most other salons can just take artificial nails off chemically apparently w/o pain or having to wait. And my kid bangs weren't cut great, too much in the back, and uneven, I did like that they offered water though. Overall 3 is fair. read more

I found my new favorite nail salon! I just moved back to CA after living in DC for 5 yrs and I am new to Mountain View. After my move, I needed a tune-up and I was totally pampered at Mt View Hair & Nails. I had a great fill, spa pedicure, & waxing services. Jenny and Ling took their time and I will definitely be going back again. read more

$30 for a mani and pedi. good deal/ The ones on my feet stays for a long time, but the work on my fingers fade away in a week. generally pretty good, will come back again/ read more

I had a mani pedi there. I am concerned about their hygiene, most of the time the employee was not wearing gloves and the tools didn't seem to be just sterilized, it might have been just an impression but I didn't feel comfortable. The quality of the mani/pedi was good, I especially liked the hot stone during the pedi. The selection of magazine is limited and there is no choice for male customers. read more

A bit of a run-down place but the pedicure was well-done. I did call and make an appointment but probably didn't really need to .. it was not busy in the afternoon at all. read more

Had a fabulous pedicure with Beth. Today came with a scrub, hot towels, hot stone and a massage and a nice wax with Jenny I have lived in mountain View for years and never knew about this hidden gem. I will be coming back for sure read more

One of the best mani's ever! The girl can't remember her name but from other reviews might be Jenny was awesome. Super quick and clean mani. She even added glitter to one nail and made it fade out (very cool effect). The other thing that stood out was that I got Shellac which at other places starts chipping after one week but this last a solid 3 weeks and only started lifting because I started messing with it. read more

I have been doing my nails here for the past year. It's great service with the right price. It's also very clean. Be sure to make an appointment. read more

For the price and results, this is a great place to come. I came for a regular manicure, which cost only $12. Jean, my manicurist, meticulously prepared my nails for painting (this took about 3/4 of the overall time), and then carefully painted my nails. My experience here was fantastic, but my friend was disappointed by her manicurist, who was rough and rushing to finish. Also, the potent smell of nail lacquer permeated the entire room, while the fluorescent lights made us want to fall asleep. Though I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want a more relaxing, luxurious setting, this place does give you its bang for your buck! read more

Went for a lunch pedicure with my husband, and loved it! Splurge on the deluxe. The massage was awesome. :)

Very disappointed with this place. I kept telling the person who did my nails that the nailpolish was too thick. She kept yelling "no" and then did a terrible job of my nails. She then touched and messed up 2 of my nails and was very angry when I asked if she could redo them. I went to bed about 4 hours after I got my nails done and woke up with them all messed up. They hadn't dried yet. That's how thick they layers she had laid on were. Would give them 0 starts if I could. read more

I was really disappointed with this place. The service is just ok! The two stars are just cause the ladies were nice. However, I didn't like the job they did, they just wanted to be done thought the place wasn't even busy! read more

Frank does the best men's haircut around. I have been coming here for over three years and he cuts my hair consistently perfect every time all for the excellent price of $12. He does a very thorough job, has nice equipment, and is always fairly busy (a good sign), but not so busy you can't get an appointment quite easily or even a walk-in haircut if you're willing to wait a few minutes. read more
