This dealership is not very customer oriented even after you pay 20-30k on a new car from them. I've had multiple service visits and have the managers of the service to be very cold. This last time i Called they couldn't my car in for 3 week and then canceled my appointment and had to reschedule for another week past my original appointmeny. A month with no ac or heat... ya sure I can wait even longer. do they apologize...not really. Do they sound sorry no they sound frustrated that I'm upset they are moving my appointment and not someone else's. Do they offer some kind of discount or somethin. I pre-ordered a Maverick, got a confirmation from Ford, and the sales representative contacted me (all good so far right). The sales representative then wanted to muscle a nonrefundable $1000 deposit, when Ford doesn't require one. I was told that is Baileys "policy". BS!!!!! So I asked if Ford.com was a liar with the confirmation notice and no down payment. We went round and round and I terminated the call. Sales manager calls back promptly trying to salvage a $25k sale. I told him the negative things I had heard in Malone and Plattsburgh. That's when he got defensive. Who wants to deal with such negativity? It's my deceased husbands birthday who passed a year and a half ago. Why they have his DOB on this purchase is beyond me and really fucked up my day. i Am handicapped post stroke I wear a stiff leg brace I have been leasing cars from Bailey ford in Malone New York for more than 5 years sales person changed this year my last salesman was always so helpful and accommodating to my special needs the new guy was so anxious to get me in a car he offered one to that we could afford and get to us even with car shortages.which was great everything went good and smooth after the car came in...a month late which was ok with us, we drove off my hisnand driving. all fine . after we got in we discovered it was so small my leg brace didnt fit comfortably .. when asked dealer bailey ford for help and ideas maybe something else, they say well you sat in it and were fine! and you've had it 2 months!! trading up would cost lots of money and we would give you very little for your brand new car offered no help!!management and supervision would not return my call these people only want your money and care nothings about handicapped people take your business elsewhere for sure rude shouldn't sell expensive cars go elsewhere Rating -100 read more

My husband and I bought a 2014 Escape in February 2017 at this dealership when it was still Plattsburgh Ford. 4 months later, in June 2017 we received a recall notice in the mails, so we called to get it fixed. It was a recall for something to do with the coolant. Anyways, it was deemed unfixable in our car, so free of charge, as part of the recall, the entire engine was replaced. We were not given any paperwork or warranty information on anything that had been done. This is when the problem really began. We also received a recall to fix the lat h in the door mechanism that could possibly cause the door to open at any given time, or stick closed, so again we brought it in. They looked at it, told us they would call us when the parts came in to fix it. They "fixed" it (no paperwork given again, even when we asked) and shortly after, the inside panel of the door started cracking along the plastic to the point that it was stuck and we could not open door. Called this dealership and were told that it had nothing to do with what was done, that they did t even have to take the panel off to fix the INSIDE of the door and that it would cost $270, plus labor (which they later waved) to fix. We have since received 2 more recalls pertaining to the engine...the new, replaced engine. On the last one 3 weeks ago, we asked for a knocking we heard in the engine to be checked. We were met immediately and very rudely with " you do know that we charge $92/he to even look at it, right?" From the service representative. Yes we were there for yet another recall, but this noise was on the engine and needed to be checked also. Needless to say, they stated that they didn't hear anything and that the car was fine, no charges where given to is to pay. Now here we are, 3 weeks later and the car has stalled while driving and will not start. We had it towed to this dealership and again we're told the hourly rate to just run diagnostics on it, which would take approximately 4-5 hours. They came back with something had blown in the engine and we would need to buy a whole new engine for the low low cost of $6800. It is still sitting at the dealership because we do not just have that kind of money laying around. We were also informed that the 2 year pars warranty expired in June and nothing is covered at all for this repair, but they would be more than happy to roll what's left of our current loan on top of a new loan if we want to buy a new vehicle from them. I feel we have been made for idiots buy this company and that they have done this many times before to get people stuck in a bind and feel that their only option is to get a new vehicle from them. They havent taken the time to get to know who they are dealing with. I ha e already submitted a claim to the Attorney Generals office. Ford Motor Company refused to do anything as well, with the excuse that all of their dealerships are privately owned and they cannot tell them how to run their business. If I could give this a 0 I would. Horrible, money grubbing dealership that does not care about service, and they do not back what they sell. read more

All I want to say is stay away from this dealership ! The Service Manager is a LIAR and uses foul language (the "F" word) and the owner Mr. "Nobody" Price is a useless weasel whom does not care about his customers once they have bought a vehicle. I received a recall from Ford Motor Corp for a defective air bag over 2 years ago and continually called Plattsburgh Ford to get a replacement and kept getting the run around. I was first told none were available then I was told only 4 a month were available , I was told to call early in the month to make sure I'd get one before they ran out. I called and each time got the same answer NO airbags available. The last call I made was before the first of the month I figured this way I'd be sure to get my airbag instead I got a rude response from the Service Dept. Manager (Darlene) she stated that she didn't know who told me I had to call and that no one ever said that they only received 4 a month but she would try to order one for me. Gee, I think that would be the least she could do , isn't that her job ? I was a bit leery so I asked her name , she did say it but I was not sure how to spell it So, I asked her if she could spell it for me and that's when she said The "F" word to me. I was dumbfounded and still am, I had to give the phone to my wife whom spoke to her and finally ended the conversation. My wife had told her that she was going to call and report her to the owner , which she did try but was put on hold for over 40 min. when she did speak to him he did not want to listen and would not , he hung up the phone. We never did get the airbag for Plattsburgh Ford we had to go elsewhere. They are horrible rude people and don't care about you or your safety. read more

I've stopped buying American cars because of this dealership. There are two people in service department that are nice but the rest of the place is horrible. I've actually spoken to the owner and he walked away when I told him I wasn't happy with the service I had received. The sales people won't leave you alone even when you tell them you are just in for service. The waiting room is a joke, dark dirty and small. After waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes, they came out with a price on the new car that was 3,500 higher than what I had told them. Then they balked when I told them to give me my keys back. I called on a Thursday about a specific SUV that they had in stock, was told that it would be a great match and to come in and fill out paperwork the next day. I went in filled out paperwork and waited 2 1/2 hours only to be told that they were very busy and they would call me back at home. Was called at home after waiting 2 1/2 more hours and offered a deal, accepted d andeal only to be called back again stating that Mr. Price had to ok said deal and it would take until the next day. We were now on our third day which was Saturday only to wait all day to hear from Katie that OOPS! the car that we had been approved for had been sold the entire time. Thanks so much for the utter disappointment and humiliation of having to tell my husband that he was right all along about car dealers. This dealership took advantage of my elderly brother they first sold him a new 2011 Ford Focus costing $23,396 and 2 years later they sold him a used Ford Escape that was a 2010 a year older than what he had. That car they charged him $23,347 for and only gave him $1,662 for a trade-in value on the Focus. If that wasn't bad enough five years later when he only owed $987 on that car they sold him a another used 2014 Ford Escape for $27,617 and gave him only $1,487 for his trade-in. My brother is in his 80's and they sold him a car with blue tooth and he has never used a cell phone in his life. They also sold him a gps system which he would not need nor know how to use. He now had a car payment of $357 a month and his social security was only $688 a month. My brother is now in a nursing home and I only found out about the dirty dealing of the dealership by going through his papers. I had to call them a number of times to get them to come a pick up the car. I have reported them to the BBB and next I go to the Attorney Generals Office. read more
