First off, if you have a car older than let's say 2007, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN AN OIL CHANGE. this place said they could do fuel work on my old bmw, and they ended up not being able to do anything on the car, so i took it back. they also charged me 1000 dollars as a "deposit/theft," and they kept the car sitting on their lot for 4 entire months, they also ripped apart a bunch of the hoses trying to fix the car. they also destroyed a plastic fuel part, which they got a replacement part which is meant for a kitchen sink. not fuel injection. i found the part online in 30 seconds. they also had the audacity to insult me by calling me impatient and mechanically incompetent when speaking to my family members. i fixed my own car in a week, doing more work on it then they did in 4 entire months. on jackstands too. what a joke. excellent liars, i mean pathological too, they kept saying it would be done the next week and then the week after and so on read more

Took the Mercedes GL in for a general service, a/c check and filter replacement, leaking oil filter and coolant leak. $1500 later- the same warning lights were turning on. Took it back in and they had the gall to charge another $1500 plus for other trumped up issues. A few months later- the exact same issues have arisen- took it to the Mercedes workshop only to find that they'd stuck the heat exhaust from the engine with duct tape! and the heat from the engine was heating up the rest of the engine space - now we have to get the entire engine cover replaced and the original issues still exist. The total repair and replacement cost is about $10K!!! Damn them all! read more

Took my boxster in because it wasn't starting and I had asked them 2 things to fix. Get it to start and figure out why my car is running so poorly. It was in the shop for a week and they finally got it to start and all it was, was a battery. Okay fine no big deal. I asked them to take my car out for a spin because I know my car is running poorly. 2 days go by and they finally take it out they say it's running great no problem. I'm like okay well it's there so might as well have them look at other stuff. 2 more weeks go by and they never fixed any of the other issues I asked them to look at, I've had a enough and pick up my car. First drive off the lot the car is still running poorly and it barely makes it home. Next day car doesn't start. They are liars and scam artists with no communication skills what's so ever. Where do I start, I absolutely love these guys! They've been able to take care of me the last 4 years with me NEVER walking away disappointed!! I've owned multiple Bmws and they've done damn near every service from something as simple as spark plugs to big repairs like replacing my entire cooling system (on my 325ci, and my 335i Xdrive). Reasonable prices, amazing customer service, and there's been multiple times I've taken my car in one day, and got a call that the jobs done the following day if not the SAME DAY for smaller jobs, even if they are JAM PACKED! $1100, 4 visits and told I don't know what you want me to do for you.' I brought my BMW in when a warning came on regarding the drive train. I was told it was the solenoid. They changed my oil and replaced the solenoid. The check engine light was still on - Julian was not sure why. Took it back since driving home, it was driving very rough. They said it was their fault, Julian said, 'sorry young lady,' a hose wasn't tightened properly. Check engine light was still on. Told it could be the cams but he couldn't be for sure. I then drove it an hour each way to work, it smelled like burning oil, I figured it was from the oil change until on the second day, when I arrived home, there was oil pouring from underneath, splattered all over the engine and steam coming from under the hood. Julian said, 'just bring it back sweetie' We just fixed what you brought it to us for, we knew there were oil leaks but you never mentioned it. I asked if this is usually addressed when the diagnostic is done, he said, we just fixed what you brought it here for. Never mentioned oil leaks to me. I bright it back and was told that the gasket around the oil cap had to be replaced. Got into my car, the check engine light was on. He turned off the check engine light, pretended to check what triggered it, said it was the gas cap - mind you, no one had touched the gas cap, 'go ahead little lady, should be fine.' I got in, the check engine light went on. Turned the corner and drove back in, Julian threw his hands up in the air and says, 'I don't know what you want me to do for you?' $1100, 4 trips, oil stains all over my professionally color stained driveway. I then took it to German Autoworks in Clovis & worked with Shane. Paid another $300 and was told the seal to the solenoid was never replaced and oil was pouring out of it. I've had so much trouble with my mini Cooper. I've taken it all over Fresno, Santa Cruz, San Jose. I've taken it directly to the mini Cooper dealership, which is a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. when it comes to needing my car serviced I will now go here. I was recommended this place by a customer of mine from my work. I needed a transmission coil and an electric wastegate actuator and let me tell you if I would've went to the mini Cooper dealership. I would've been paying thousands. At this place, Julian, the owner did more than meet my satisfaction. He was willing to make sure my engine was properly worked on by professionals who knew what they were doing rather than the last sketchy place I went to who was not even certified for BMWs or mini Coopers, moving forward I trust no one in Fresno with my car except for Bailey European if you have a mini Cooper or even a BMW, no matter the cost bring it here so you know your car will be properly repaired. Stay far far away from this shop. they are as incompetent as they come. Dont be fooled by their fake high reviews. if you read closely they are mostly maintenance jobs that they got good reviews on. oil changes, tranny flushes and filter changes etc. if your issue is any more complicated than this they will destroy your car don't do it. they had our car for 4 months after quoting 5-7 days. ya you read it right. we got our car back after returning it 3 times throwing over 20 codes and all kinds of missing parts. he tells us to take it to bmw and he'll pay what's deemed his fault well he disappears and denies everythin. I took my 2007 bmw in here after Weber at the time would no longer honor their work and basically told me I must be nuts that my car was fine... it wasn't fine. It took the guys at Bailey's a few days but they figured it out and ended up replacing a few parts that were on the brink of exploding basically. These guys saved me from a potential nightmare. They never doubted me and patiently listened when I explained what my car was doing in really lame nontechnical-terms. I sent my mom here on another occasion for her window and she still raves about what a great time she had while waiting for them to replace a few parts. I came back once the parts were delivered and it was serviced the same day. Mind you that throughout this process they were very busy and as I seen many vehicles coming in and out of the shop. 2007 Mercedes C230 Sport. I changed the radiator, water pump, belt, tensioner and 2 idler pulleys last June 2022. May 2023 i saw water pump was leaking. With my pride dinged, I went looking for a shop. Praying for a sign, I saw an article about the owner being a collegiate water polo player. My girls play polo, so I knew the hard work he has done. Julian let me know that my work seemed good and that the part had failed. I dropped it off @ 7am and @815am he called with all the things he found during his inspection. My BMW X5 has black smoke coming from the exhaust and they let me know it is covered with my extended warranty and to take my car in to the dealership to get it fixed for free. Julian used to work for Mercedes Benz of Fresno and when he left there started a shop with his partner at another shop before moving on his own in this business. Most all of the mechanics there have worked for either Mercedes Benz or BMW dealerships and they really know their stuff. When compared to the other shops that specialize in European automotive repair, I have found that they are the least expensive and have never over sold me on items that I really did not need. I have taken my MB to Julian ever since the manufacture warranty expired. His business seems to be outgrowing his current location as word of mouth has gotten out to where he is now. Took my 2007 vw new beetle in due to leaking fuel concern coming from rear passenger wheel well location. Told them check engine light was on. They ended up not seeing any leaks, they cleared the check engine light. Advised me to come back when / if check engine light comes back on. Charged me $100+ for what? Of course the check engine light will come back! It was for a evap leak! I felt they should have told me, hey! We could not find fuel leak but we did test it to see where the evap leak was, but they didn't . And clearing the CEL and telling me to come back if it comes back on makes me think they just want to charge charge charge for more $$$$ when they could have gone out of their way to investigate further about my concerns. Disappointed at their service. 2 stars because they washed my car , lol. I ended up taking my car to another repair shop who straight up told me THE issue, they did a smoke test to see where evap leak was coming from , honestly told me the part was expensive (evap canister from dealer $900+) and recommended I search online for the part, which I did and bought part for $600 and changed it myself!! CEL gone!! And they only charged me $65!! If I had stayed with Bailey auto to fix my issue , I might have unnecessarily paid more than what I did. read more

I would be remiss if I did not give a yelp rating to this business. I took my BMW 528i to Bailey European automotive for an engine light. I was hesitant but went based on the other yelp reviews and after getting my car back I can see why the ratings are so high. This business and the owner, Julian , operates with integrity and honesty. I found home to be very honest about the diagnostic of my car and the amount to repair it. My car was challenge to repair as the diagnostic codes were all over the place. Julian made absolute sure that everything was running PERFECT. There was even one moment when I said oh everything's fine and he requested that I bring the car back for a follow up just to check things out.
