We put in an emergency request within Yelp for an electrician for a circuit breaker problem. From…read moreYelp, the request goes out and electricians respond. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

A reason why i went with this company is that they are licensed .... which i did double check and they do have a C10 which is for electrical. Also, they did answer with regard to how much a particular job would be. Originally, we had an after lunch timeslot... I requested if there was a possibility of a morning one the day prior... Thankfully, they were able to come on over and accommodate. So that's a plus. When they arrived, Nick was respectful and straight to the point. He pointed out some items that were needed to be addressed... and upgraded... Felt like an upsell but i do understand that when it comes to keeping a house safe, you gotta do what you gotta do and hopefully you get what you paid for. They offered to 1. do grounding.... 2. and also to install a surge protector.... 3. to change parts of the breaker that were damaged or cooked and not rated properly 4. Patch up the dry wall. 5. In addition to installing the tesla wall connector. Now originally, i just wanted to have just my tesla wall connector installed. The price for such is pretty affordable and comparable to other electricians. Unfortunately, with all the other things that needed to be done... the price exponentially increased. Good thing, they offered different modes of payment,.... like credit, debit, check, and even zelle. Since the bill was a pretty penny, he did mention doing a 60amp rather than a 50amp for the tesla wall connecter and making sure that all connections are up to code. I assumed from the beginning that it's supposed to be a 60amp since that is what the wall connector is rated for... In any case..... They got here at 8:43 am and were done by 10:07.... pretty quick and fast. I did like that Nick showed me the issues and also showed what they did and he assure me that everything is up to code. They sent an invoice via email and i paid them via check . Edit 2 weeks after: I have messaged them to cash the check i gave. They replied and promised that they will the following day but still hasn't ... i told them that I would be changing accounts .... Looking back, i think i should have asked for a breakdown of the services with the prices for each. They gave me an initial proposal of installation for a charge of : 300 usd. (50amp then 60amp) Then offered a surge protector for 350usd... Then said.... said let's make it up to code and charged me a total of 2,500.... for changing of fuses and putting a ground .... they didn't give a price but total was 2,500 USD. So i'm assuming that 2,500-650 =1,850 was for all that. Tbh, looking back... i felt that i overpaid...and upon asking around, apparently I did. I should just paid them for installation and that's it. And yes, they did ask for this review to be put out... hence, i'm editing it so that i'm writing it truthfully.

When we first moved to our house, we had an issue with our other side of the house not having electricity whenever it rained and hired 2 five star rated electricians on yelp and they were able to fix the problem and problem would come up again when it started raining. Those 2 electricians we hired were a waste of time and money as they didn't troubleshoot well like First Tri Electric. I called First Tri Electric and the owner Ney sent his employee to check it out. He did some troubleshooting that the other 2 electricians I hired before didn't do. It turns out my wires were getting wet inside since my pipes weren't water proof. Ney's employee took everything apart and rewired everything and BOOM everything was working perfectly even during the rain. I hired Ney on another big project at my house to upgrade my panel to a 200 AMP and this turned out smooth swell. No problems at all and I have my AC on all day and charge my EV at night. Look no further for another electrician, these guys are all you need. Their pricing is well priced compared to the others aswell! They also installed my Chargepoint and Tesla charger.
