Over the course of the following half hour, an array of dishes hit the table at varying times. My first serve of steamed dumplings arrived still frozen at the table - and granted the waiter was apologetic and a steaming hot serve was returned - about 10 minutes later. The food was good - when it arrived, but dishes being served over that space of time really just isn't great. It causes people to feel rude if they begin eating before others and then others to feel even hungrier than when they began. They were seasoned well but I found some stale non-crispy pieces. If they were all crispy, then would have been perfect! The service is fast and great. The restaurant was full of natural light with plenty of seating. It is located down the west side of Waymouth Street so a lot quieter but perfect for me. The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. A great experience, the only downside was the portion but I'm sure the dinner size would be great. Will definitely be back.

I am curious about the hotpot though - I've noticed a lot of people come back for this. As well as some of the more traditionally Korean dishes, Don Don makes a range of meals that remind me of the closely related Japanese cuisine. The bento boxes and sushi are reasonably priced. This place has a lot of potential - sweet decor and good location to take advantage of uni and night life - but I think the food needs to improve.
