The curry was a little too syrupy and the vegetables a bit overcooked, the bibimbap sauce tasted artificial - too sweet and not spicy enough. I am curious about the hotpot though - I've noticed a lot of people come back for this. As well as some of the more traditionally Korean dishes, Don Don makes a range of meals that remind me of the closely related Japanese cuisine. The bento boxes and sushi are reasonably priced. This place has a lot of potential - sweet decor and good location to take advantage of uni and night life - but I think the food needs to improve.

The portion sizes are very large. It is a very small and plain set up but you can still expect nice service. I usually get the Beef Bulgogi with rice which I would definitely recommend and they usually serve a complimentary soup with all meals which you might think is less than your average Korean place but you really don't need all those extra Banchan! The last time I was there it wasn't too busy (late afternoon) but if my memory serves me correctly it can get very crowded for the lunch rush! Definitely give it a go though.
