Met at the door with smiles all around and since this was a surprise dinner gave the name and was escorted to the large table for celebration! The waitress was attentive at first, however when another large party came in and then two additional tables (my thought was she was slammed, however still friendly) We ordered a few appetizers, which gave most of us a variety of tastes. Beef Empanadas (good with dipping sauce), Crab & Three Cheese dip (a bit gritty, however good taste - especially with the chips) and Jamaican Jerk Wings (Loved them great spice and flavorful...if you can't take spicy be sure to have something close by to cool your mouth. This taster was pleased with the starters. The main dish of the reviewer Seafood Paella fell really flat. The seafood was slightly over cooked, the mussels were (a couple of them) gritty and the rice did not add anything to the dish. It was bland, yellow rice should show up to support the seafood. I will say in comparison to the Jerk wings which were aggressively seasoned to perfection, and then to get a bland Paella you would think you were at a different restaurant. The space in the restaurant with several large groups was still open and comfortable and every group still had their space to celebrate without over lapping each other. I will definitely come back and order a more flavorful dish.
We really enjoyed this place! The ambiance and food is great for being a chain. Our waitress Pehyton was a delight and you can tell she's been a waitress for a while. Always there when we needed her and so friendly. The food was perfect for our group - enough veggie options for vegetarian and an abundance of seafood options for our fish eaters. We will definitely be back! The only negative is we downed our meals so fast that I didn't have enough time to take photos
As my husband said, it's maybe a once a 1-2 year place to visit. Don't get me wrong. The tropical vibes and spacious restaurant with vast seafood options are fun and upbeat, but the food is mediocre at best and quite salty if you ask me. I tried the jerk chicken pineapple bowl, literally served in half a pineapple. Instaworthy, sure, but the sauce was too overpowering, and I wished I had triple the amount of white rice to mellow it out. Yelp told me 3 minutes ago I'm a wine bar fan, and your wine bar fan girl here tried the pineapple coconut martini as well. It was well balanced, but small for $10. Husband had the jerk chicken platter, which came with rice, beans, and plantains. He prepped his stomach for this by indulging in the pina colada, which looked refreshing. The kids' meals were about $7 and plenty of food and came with fruit on the side, as well as an Honest juice box. Service was very friendly. Enjoyed the touristy, beachy getaway vibes here, but the quality of food left something to be desired.
The covered outdoor patio is the best place to be seated! It does set the tone of being in the 'Bahamas.' Open windows, music playing, it's like your on vacation while enjoying fruity tropical drinks. Fiancé took me here for date night and we ordered 2 of their new drinks. I had the guava martini, it was okay. I would not order it again, too sweet for me but others might enjoy it. He ordered the Bruno's smash hit and that was very good. Strong, bold and sweet all at the same time. It was very well balanced. They also offer non alcoholic versions of their drinks so that's a plus if you prefer mocktails. The food was eh. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta, it was edible. Matt ordered the seafood paella and honestly it was probably one of the worsts we've had. We're both of Hispanic descent so this is a bias opinion. It was edible, but not good. Service was okay, pretty slow however it was busy and the staff was nice. The best part of Bahamas breeze was the atmosphere for sure. We'd come back to have more drinks and try the apps!
Second Bahama breeze visited, the other in Florida. Food was good and service was really quick. It's a franchise. Daughter like the pineapple shrimp meal.
The ambience is excellent, and the vibe is great. The servers are friendly and attentive. Drink (alcoholic) are varied and some unique options. I left the food for last because while the presentation is excellent, the taste is just lackluster for some items that we ordered- flank strak.and jerk.chicken, while good for others like the snapper. Overall would recommend trying it though.
Went here for a birthday and service was quick! Loved what I ordered but I wish they had a mango sorbet as an actual dessert option rather than a topping on a fruit cup.
Bahama Breeze is quite breezy, and they have plenty of bamboo leaf looking fans throughout the dining area. Going to Bahama Breeze is always a decent experience for me and I was left satisfied overall. I ordered the Jamaican Stuffed Plantain Bowl which had yellow rice, ground beef, black bean sauce, cheese, all in a whole caramelized sweet plantain. It was delicious. There's not a lot of cuisines that center on plantains, the little brother of bananas, so definitely check out this dish here. Service was good and the overall experience was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located past the kitchen, the mens bathroom is spacious. There are several stalls and a small designated area for the urinals. Sinks were plenty, and the overall urinating experience was good. Sit or squat? Sit!
Went here for a friend's birthday dinner. The food was really good and our server was super friendly and made great recommendations. I had the coconut shrimp tacos which were delicious. I also had the margarita flight. The menu is a little pricey however the food is worth it. I would definitely come back here.
Came here on a weekday probably around 2:30. Drinks were delicious, our food was perfect. Clean restaurant. The fish was delicious. Our server/bartender Bobby was very attentive and personable. We look forward to returning!
Excellent food and drink to remind you of the island life. Seriously, I recommend the Conch Fritters, Blackened Mahi Tacos, Tequila glazed Salmon, Coconut Shrimp, Skillet simmered Jerk Shrimp, Cuban Black Bean Soup and there are many more great appetizers and Entrees. The service is quite good for a restaurant this size and you can always order from the table top Ziosk.

Me and hub-hub were looking for a great spot to enjoy a light dinner this past week, and as we'd passed by Bahama Breeze a few times, this time we caught wind of the opened patio windows and turned in- definitely glad we did. Service was instantaneous, and must admit our waiter on the patio was fast, pleasant, and - for the most part- really attentive- always a plus, which we know will please YOU too. Ok- as we weren't too hungry, we ordered a couple well drinks and a couple appetizers- we got the crab and 3 cheese dip (yummy) and the skillet simmered jerk shrimp - now to be fair, the shrimp tasted great - but the jerk flavoring was a little "flat" (not a bad thing, but not as strong as we'd have expected). For the main, we got two vegetarian black bean/guac handheld "tacos" - which (despite the blowback which would come shortly thereafter at home) was absolutely yummy - wow. This was the only "non-happy-hour" item we ordered. Needless to say - we were impressed! Loved the patio, loved the service, and the 1/2 priced happy hour drinks/apps were amazing- we'll be back - and you should go if you enjoy great service and an island-themed environment!
I used to frequent Bahama Breeze a lot back in Florida when I was a student at UCF, and I can clearly tell that the quality isn't what it used to be. The second we walked in, there was a very foul smell on the inside. I'm not sure what happened, but we opted to sit outside to avoid it. The decor is still practically the same (tropical vibes, colors and what not). Service was great, no complaints. It was a bit busy but our waiter was on it! I wish I could remember his name, as he definitely deserves a raise. He was taking orders, giving recommendations, cleaning tables, all while handling a 10-15 person table right next to us. Hats off to this man! The menu has slightly changed since I last dined-in a few years ago. They've added a couple of new menu items and kept the few favorites. Prices have gone up drastically, but that's the new norm I guess. Here's what we had - Appetizer: Yuca Cheese Sticks - this is a new item. I had high expectations, and was hoping for a cheese pull, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. They tasted like normal mozzarella sticks, but the sauces that came with it (cilantro lime and sriracha aioli) were good. (3/5) Mains: Blackened Mahi Tacos and Coconut Shrimp Tacos. The tacos were alright. The plates were very messy, but satisfying. The meats could use a bit more seasoning as both tacos were rather bland. The fries were crispy and delicious. (3/5) Desserts: Pineapple Cheesecake Empanadas. The empanadas were crunchy and sweet. The filling was alright, but slightly thick. I expected the cheese to ooze out when I took a bite but that did not happen. Still good overall. (3.5/5) ~Till next time!
I went here with a friend for Happy Hour...only we didn't know it was Happy Hour. What a SURPRISE! All appetizers (except wings) were half off. We feasted and had leftovers! Drinks were delicious and also half off. Dessert was worth the splurge and probably my favorite item of our trip. Ambiance was vacation mode and our server was great. I would give 3 stars to this place. TBH we were excited to dine here but were disappointed by the food quality. We ordered hot sriracha wings which were very sweet. And Nahi mani tacos which had a bit of smell and was chewy! Ambience was good summery vibes!! read more
I've been coming to this restaurant for many years and it never lets me down. I think their drink menu is so fun and the food/desserts are super yummy. The vibe in there is different because it's kind of a theme restaurant so it's tropical and feels fun and flirty. I love to sit by the fire pit they have. I believe they do live music some nights as well. Our server, Mason, was also very friendly and went above and beyond to help us and make it a good experience. I will always be back. read more

The food was delicious and fresh! Loved the dinner plate I ordered it was amazing and was a great portion. The mixed slushy drink was refreshing and came with an extra shot on the side. Love that it had layers of different flavor and it wasn't too strong . The beef empanadas were decent .. probably something on the menu I wouldn't order again. My family recently hosted our mom's milestone birthday celebration here for about 50 guests, and we had a wonderful experience. I worked with Elizabeth to reserve a private section of the restaurant for our party, and she was extremely patient with all of my questions during the process. The night of the event, we were warmly welcomed and given an opportunity to set up decorations ahead of our guests' arrival. The staff were all very gracious and thoughtful all evening. Our primary servers, Cassidy and Natalie, were amazing, and the other staff who assisted them were terrific as well. As an example, when a couple of guests arrived late, after everyone was already seated, the crew quickly reconfigured one of the tables to accommodate them with minimal disruption to the other diners. The food we had was excellent - everything tasted good and fresh, and was served in generous proportions (leftovers galore). Our guests particularly raved about the house salad and the beef empanadas, and remarked that there was almost too much seafood in the paella. :) When it came time to serve the birthday cake for my mom, the staff once again went above and beyond, slicing and serving the cake with efficiency. My mom very much enjoyed her evening out with family and friends, and there was truly very little to complain about. We will definitely be back to Bahama Breeze for "normal" lunches/dinners, and will certainly consider this location again for a future private dining event. read more
Five of us came here Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. I don't remember the waiters name unfortunately, but he was extremely helpful and attentive. We started the day out with appetizers and drinks. The ultimate pineapple drink is really delicious. They actually put it inside a cut open pineapple. I believe it was around $13 My favorite appetizer was the beef empanadas, they were absolutely incredible. You get four of them for about $11.49, so a little pricey but they were so good. The pineapple chutney sauce and sour cream on the side made it even better. The yuca sticks ($6.49 were ok. Spinach and artichoke dip ($11.49) was good, and we did like the firecracker shrimp ($12.49). I think the beef empanadas were everyone's favorite overall. I had the jerk chicken pasta without asparagus and mushrooms. The pasta was really good. The large portion is $18. I would definitely get it again it was very flavorful and a good portion. My fiancé and another person had the jerk chicken and rice pineapple bowl for $16.49. That was really delicious and was also in a cut open pineapple. It had a lot of flavor and was really good. One of my friends got the jerk chicken sandwich and hers was very disappointing because there was barely any thing in the inside and it was mostly bread. read more
So we just came from eating here and the food for some reason surprised us a little. Where we were sitting had a fan in the room (maybe even two, I was only paying attention to the one) so the fan was making my food cold which wasn't the greatest but the food and drinks themselves weren't bad. We've had better spinach & artichoke dip but it did the job.. and our entrees and drinks were also pretty good. At first it seemed a bit confusing because you might expect for food/decor etc. to be a bit more high quality or even higher priced bc of what they were serving but we did go in the day time so maybe all the vibes of this place comes at night. I would come back to eat so they did good overall! Also, do not expect the jerk chicken to be legitimate. I've never had a bad experience at Bahama Breeze. I met a friend for dinner here on April 22, and we dined on the enclosed patio, which has tables spaced well apart and a relaxing vibe, complete with live entertainment. The environment was perfect, and the music added a vacation-like vibe to the room without being too loud. We were able to have a conversation while the musician sang and played. Perfect! We've been coming here for years and my friend and I always ordered the almond-crusted fish special and green beans, which was perfection. Sadly, it's no longer on the menu, so we were forced to try something else. I opted for the jerk chicken pineapple bowl -- spicy jerk chicken, rice, pineapple pieces and peppers, served in a hallowed out half pineapple. Great choice! It was full of flavor, and I loved the spicy chicken and pineapple flavor combo. I'd definitely recommend it! I also got the traditional Bahamarita, which is a three-flavor margarita that tastes as good as it looks. While the menu is smaller than it was pre-pandemic, it still offers a nice range of entrees as well as a different environment than typical suburban restaurants, especially if you eat on the patio. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. read more
Always love this place for HH. Decent food but it used to be a lot better... and broader in app options. Still like the patio ambiance and firepit. Late night HH is always nice too... if your still there at 9pm then whooo Fresh air without fear of rain... is a premium during these times, where the anti-vacc brain trust have brought down the economy again. read more
I love the vibe! Stopped by for some island drinks and appetizers. Probably one of my favorite places around here. I'm super picky with my cocktails and know I can always get good drinks here! The premium margarita, wings, coconut shrimp, and the lobster soup are my go to! I usually order more to go! The habanero sauce on the wings are a perfect mix of sweet and spicy! The coconut martini is also very good! Side note: the beef empanadas has a curry filling in it. Not bad since I like curry but def an acquired taste! read more

It was on my 'want to go' list, and we finally went to check out this place. It was very busy, but luckily we reserved a table. Service: server Lauren was knowledgeable, fast, and organized. Kind girl with a smile. Food: It was ok. Decent. Can't say it was delicious but it was ok. Atmosphere: nice. Not noisy, pleasant. Ambient: interesting, they can work a little bit more on decorations, but it is huge and has potential. Cocktails were awesome! That is something that you have to try! Alcoholic or virgin, all that we ordered were great! read more

My daughter wanted a drink and some good food so she decided we should go to Bahama Breeze, it's one of my favorites and Ofcourse it didn't disappoint the drinks were really good we had a painkiller, coconut mojito and the new cloud nine All we're yummy and priced right, we also tried a new dish the Jamaican stuffed plantain bowl wow that was good can't wait to go back read more
My girlfriend and I recently had a little get-together at this place. The service was good even though our waitress was a bit rough around the edges. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We were so stuffed by the end of our dinner! One star off for weak drinks. We tried a couple of different cocktails and it seemed like all of them had the minimal amount of alcohol. The presentation for the food and drinks was pretty impressive though, I honestly didn't expect it to be so nice. The also have iPads at each table that can be used to place an order or to entertain your kids while you are eating. I found this idea to be pretty neat. I will definitely recommend this place and be back in the warmer months to take advantage of the open air seating. read more

One of the best customer service experience. Our server Tea was so attentive and her personality was top-tier. She is a great addition to the Bahama breeze team. The food was excellent and we've traveled many places and eaten at many restaurants but can say that the server made the visit worthwhile. We will definitely be coming back. read more

our server never introduced himself to us but he did do the 2 minutes/2 bites and brought an extra refill before I was done, so thats fine. He did have a large party right next to our table so I'm not even upset by it, i just didn't want to be rude if we needed to call him. We all ordered the virgin ultimate pineapple (which on the menu is shown IN an actual pineapple) and we were given this overly sweet similar to ice cream smoothies. We also all ordered the jerk chicken or shrimp pineapple bowls, to which we all can attest was underwhelming and overly sweet/unappetizing to say the least. the only plus was really the appetizer of coconut shrimp. read more

I came here with some girlfriends for Happy Hour. Love the discounted drinks and apps! Their portions are a good size for the price and the food always tastes great. My favorites are the beef empanadas and jerk chicken wings. For drinks, we usually get the Bahamarita and classic margarita. We came on a Thursday at 5:30pm. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to get a table. You can sit inside the restaurant or outside in the sun room area (which has an indoor/outdoor feel) and get the happy hour prices. I've been here before with kids and they don't have trouble accommodating them. read more
The food is good. But the service is strange. Our waiter was attentive at first but then got overwhelmed. They have a lot of food runners who bring the food, but they don't seem trained to provide service. So it leaves the wait staff overwhelmed. I had to stop one food runner and ask him to take our dirty dishes so we had room for our entrees that he had just placed on the table. We indicated it was a birthday, but when we got our dessert there was no candle. And the food runner left the desserts but didn't check if we had utensils. After I tried to flag someone down for a while, I got up to find the utensils myself. I love the patio. We loved the crab/shrimp appetizer and the spinach dip appetizer. My tacos were good too. They just need to train the food runners better. read more
