I have been coming here for over 20 years and their bagels are still my favorite. The prices have increased over the years, but that is expected. No matter how packed it is, the service is fast and the staff is always so friendly. The best part is you can dine in or take out. Place is a joke, $9 for a breakfast sandwich with a single paper thin piece of pork and 2 garbage little burnt pieces of bacon, maybe half an egg at most. Don't bother going here, less than 3 minutes down 72 OA convenience and deli has a way batter sandwich for less money. read more

I'm from out of town but this spot was up the street from our friend's house. The delivery service was 10/10 super fast it felt like. I ordered the everything bagel with egg and cheese it was very good. I feel the bagel had a lot of flavor. I wish it was a little more warm so the bagel was softer. My family has been getting bagels from here for years whenever we visit Manahawkin. Their bagels are chewy and fluffy. Normally I like bagels toasted, but I have no problems eating theirs just as they are because the fresh texture is so nice. There are plenty of choices for bagels and cream cheese, plus pastries which I've never tried but look good in the case. In the past I've gotten egg and cheese sandwiches (which they do very well) but I just got an everything egg bagel with lite veggie cream cheese today and the cream cheese was great with lots of small veggie bits; I will probably try more flavours of cream cheese if I go back again. They put a good amount of cream cheese on there but not so much that it's a mess to eat. It's usually busy but they work pretty quickly to make orders. read more

I got an everything bagel with pork roll and cheese, and a sesame bagel with pork roll egg and cheese. So far it was good, pretty standard sandwich. Total was $10.60 for 2 sandwiches. I would come back since this is the only bagel place in Ocean Acres. In reality I've had had better up north in Toms River, Brick, Edison, New Brunswick, Jersey City, etc... Just called this place to order for myself and 5 other people..Girl who answered the phone was very nasty and curt with me, after her rude exchange with me, I promptly hung up. So, I'm spoiled by North Jersey bagels, I guess. These were sad. Probably 30-40% smaller than "nporma;" bagels. I'm guessing they don't give them time to rise or are being made off site. Next the bagel itself only has seasoning on ONE side! Who does that? So if you but bagel in half; half the bagel you're eating is in effect a plain bagel. I told the young lady that I live a mile up the road I'll bring back the .65. Didn't work. My nephew went and got cash from the ATM with a $3.00 surcharge. Can't believe she was holding the bagels hostage for 65 cents. Haven't been here in a long time, and won't be back for a long time. As others have said the attitudes in this place are terrible. They completely forgot the turkey bacon on both of our bagels. When we walked back inside the kid joked and said he knew he forgot and was waiting for us to come back. Thankfully we checked the bagels in the car. He then took the bagels he had previously made from us and (which we had bit into) and took the turkey bacon he forgot and put it onto the bagels and gave it back. I feel if they think you're from up north or NY they become nasty and snippy, but if you walk in with a SRHS shirt on they're nice. I actually worked here when it first opened....wow that was a while ago. I prefer it much better now. I like the fact that they experiment with flavors. The bagels are steamed, so it's not like in NY where they are boiled. Different taste, but really good. Sandwiches are delicious. Try the french toast bagels. read more

Their bagels and sandwiches taste good however I have not EVER had a correct order come out of this location. Whether I ordered while I was there or if I called ahead, something was always incorrect about the order. I'd ask for a plain bagel they would give me cinnamon raisin, I'd ask for steak they'd give me bacon, etc. If you order one sandwich they might get it right however if you order more than one, their brains explode and they mess up your order and give you random items instead. Ya know, this is one of those places that you take for granted, walk in, walk out and always expect the best. Nice thing is they always seem to deliver. The bagels are big and fresh, not like some "other" places where you'd swear they just handed you a ritz cracker.
