Great service and even better they offer the rare, Chocolate Chip Bagel. My wife and daughter absolutely love. In addition if you want a good jalapeño bagel, they have one that's smoked and delicious. Inside the store it's a little quirky to navigate but service and food quality seemed great. The owners are local small business owners and involved in the daily Im operations, ensuring the employees are always providing service that is beyond impeccable. The shop itself is so cute and inviting, and there is room to sit and enjoy your food or you can do takeout. The bagels are perfectly boiled and fresh and I love the veggie sandwich, the blt, and then they have deli sandwiches like the turkey that are incredible!! This is the third time we have ordered cookies from this place. Each time they have put in the incorrect cookies. This wouldn't be an issue if it were a cheap cookie, but at $2.45 each, I think getting the correct cookies in the box shouldn't be too complicated. I'm not talking about large orders; I'm referring to small orders like 2 cookies. This place is charming. It is reminiscent of an old- time, small, country, general store. There are soooo many bagels to choose from and a lot of delicious breakfast options. We ordered the Bagelwhich with ham, egg, and cheese and a Bagelwhich with sausage, egg, and cheese. We also ordered two, small, chai lattes. We ate half of each other's sandwiches so I got to try both of them and they were both really tasty! The bagel was the right consistency. The meat was fresh and perfectly cooked and the eggs were real eggs and not boxed eggs. I hate box eggs! And, the chai latte was delicious! They have a nice food selection including salads, wraps, desserts, and custard. It all looks very delicious. And even though it wasn't really that packed with people eating in, there were a steady stream of people coming in and getting their orders to go. If they did decide to stay, there was plenty of seating to be had. If I'm ever in Phoenix again, I'm going to stop by Bagelmeister for sure :-) read more

Stopped on the way for quick bagel. Who knew they has a shop like Ali Baba's food cave. The people who took our order were very nice. Ther sundried tomato and the egg bagels were both tasty so was the spinach and artichoke cream cheese. Kids woofed down a BLT before you could say Jack Robin. Bagelmeister is DELICIOUS! Five stars for sure! Food is great and everyone here is so nice. Their bagels very tasty ... incredibly soft and pillowy on the inside. My favorite is the everything bagel! You can get breakfast sandwiches or deli sandwiches, and specialty options like pizza bagels. They've got plenty of coffee drinks and tasty sweets like chocolate covered pretzels and cookies as well. I grew up in Jacksonville (now live in VA) and every time I come back here I *absolutely have* to stop at Bagelmeister to get a sandwich and take home some bagels. The coffee good. The food was great in variety. I didn't eat as I never do before meeting a client, the menu was good and the free samples plentiful. I would certainly recommend this place on potential alone. Someday when I am out that way again I will certainly grab food and more coffee. I have never posted a review but Bagelmeister makes me so sad. I decided to try Bagelmeister again this morning. It's been a year or so and I desperately want to give attention to my local businesses. I honestly don't understand how this place stays in business. I ordered a bagel with egg and well done bacon. Bagel - absolutely just plain dough; no taste. Egg - rubbery, obviously heated in a microwave, no taste. Bacon - Also microwaved. If I got a half a piece, I'm being generous. It was so thin and tasteless, that I'm not convinced it was actually bacon. After a few bites, I had to throw it in the trash. I am not trying to be mean but I did not know egg and bacon could taste this bad...rather have no taste at all. Please Bagelmeister...try a little bit harder! Phoenix is a great area and we need you to improve! Use real eggs and bacon. Fry them! Toast your bagels. It's really not difficult at all. I am sorry to say that I will continue to give another bagel shop my daily business, even though it's much further away. read more

If you live out in the four corners area, this is the only place to get a decent (by Maryland standards) bagel. Obviously you can't compare Maryland bagels to anything outside of NY/NJ, so lower your expectations if you are from there. I really used to love this place but I've been really disappointed in my bagels lately. I'll start by saying the staff is great and the coffee is amazing. Awesome selection and way better than Dunkin or Starbucks. But their bagels have been dry and firm and they give so little cream cheese it does nothing to help. They have a great selection of cream cheeses too, but it's shocking how little they put on. Nice folks but I'm afraid the bagels really are very bad. I'm not sure exactly why -- do they not boil them? -- but I wouldn't even really describe them as bagels. They're round and they're bread and they have holes in them, but the texture is all wrong.
