Honestly floored that a place would think charging almost $20 for a bacon egg and cream cheese bagel with a coffee is ok. They literally nickel and dimed everything. Who charges for ice and 3.50 for bacon when they gave me 2 and half pieces of bacon. Unbelievable! Unfortunately it's sad because the place is nice and very clean but I feel like I was robbed read more

I was craving some halal deli meat and discovered this place online. I picked it out due to location and menu, and I'm glad I decided to try it! First off, their turkey wrap was so delicious and just the kind of thing I had been craving. I forgot to ask for it with no mayo, but it was still good. I also got a rainbow bagel and WOW I think I understand the NY bagel craze now. Service was just ok (I think one of the employees was new and maybe a bit confused about the menu). But if I'm in the area I'd stop by again in the future. read more

They've definitely done a great job with the place! The old bagel spot that was in this location had delicious bagels, a friendly staff, and tons to choose from...But it was rundown and unless you knew about it nobody wanted to visit! The folks that own Bagelafe have changed this spot into a brightly-colored location with fun murals on the walls and the same delicious bagels! We were here during the soft opening and the staff was so eager to share everything they've done with the place. Very friendly and very generous. I've had their bagels two days in a row now for breakfast and they're delicious each time! read more

I'm really happy we have a halal breakfast spot nearby. The menu isn't long but has a good blend of eastern and western options. The food is made fresh and not sloppy like some breakfast places can be. The only complaint I have is that their bagels dont seem to be the freshest, compared to all the bagels available on Long Island. Theirs are more dense and chewy for some reason. Other than that, they have good coffee options, and grab and go things including halal beef jerky. Their french toast is one of the best I've had anywhere. And I've been trying to recreate their shahi paratha, it was that good. read more

Breakfast, Bagels, & Coffee Bagelafe 629 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714 Karak chai iced (large) Cappuccino Hot (small) Bacon N Cheese (ketchup, spicy Mayo, salt / pepper) BQE Anda patha roll Chocolate chip pancakes Brioche French toast Review: (5 out of 5 Stars) Great customer service, clean, and nice ambiance. It does take a while for the food. But, that's because everything is made fresh. You can taste the quality. I really enjoyed the BQE, which has Layers Of Pepperoni, Salami, Bologna & Provolone cheese on a hero. The iced karak chai is so good. Definitely check this place out. As always don't forget to say Bismillah and Alhamdulilah for everything. read more

Backstory- saw it on instagram. Got super pumped and said we'll try it out when we're in long island since we've got lots of family there. Tried it out and I just hope you do well because I really don't know. Ambiance is ambitious, the furniture is something, it's more in line with Pakistani Chic ultra modern. Pretty much whatever. Don't care. Service was good although we ordered to go. The staff seemed nice. Food was whatever. We were dissatisfied and disappointed. Prices are not fair. They are at least 35% higher than normal. You just dont get what you paid for. read more

I was eager to try this new halal breakfast spot and I was thoroughly delighted by the ambiance, delicious food and top-notch service. The karak chai hit the spot and my large family of 9 approved, which is saying a lot because desis are so particular about their chai. Food was made fresh to order. Although not an extensive menu, everything we tried was delicious: Karak Chai Caramel Latte Desi Omelette BLT sandwich BQE sandwich Meat lover Omelette Chocolate Chip Pancakes Anda Paratha roll I'm looking forward to coming back again and hope they stay consistent with their service. It's a lovely addition to the Nassau community! read more

I had never had a halal bagel before. The bagel was OK, not good, not bad. The omelette was BIG but terrible tasting. The iced coffee tasted fine. Although the 2 girls working were nice everything moved SLOW AF. It took them way too long to even make coffee. Unless halal is a requirement for you, I would avoid. The omelet kept coming back up for the next 4hours. NOT GOOD, and rather expensive. $24 for an iced coffee, omelet and bagel with CC -, which might have been ok if it wasn't indigestion city! read more

Visit Bagelafe today on a Sunday. It was busy with many families with young children there. The woman behind the counter repeated my to go order 2 or 3 times. So it should be surprising if not right! Right? The bagel ( see pix) was not toasted well done nor did it have scallion cream cheese- 1 of the 3 cream cheeses they noted for sale, it was more like whipped cream cheese and it wasn't even cut even with one side very thin and the other thick. ( difficult to put in my toaster at home) Like- how hard is it to get this order right? The meat omelette on everything bagel ( as they had no salt ones) didn't appear to have the added slice of turkey that I ordered, either. I'm told it was very peppery in taste. I'd ordered it on an egg everything bagel not just an egg bagel. So once home what's one to do? Go back, call, complain??? I didn't even see a receipt this time and don't know exactly what I was charged for. They have a help sign for a front kitchen person. Seems to me they need better help to get the orders right. Once again , I'd not checked before I'd Left. If I do happen to go back to this store again for convenience, I clearly would have to check each thing that I order. Maybe a new hire could do better. After all they've been there a month short of a year and by now I'd think they'd be able to get it right. read more

I was excited to try this bagel place. It was local and I really wanted to like it. The place is decorated nice.
