The ambiance is very welcoming . There is bakery on the right , with variety of pastries/cookies/cakes and in the other side is seating area fr breakfast . The service is good , the wait time to order and get our breakfast was not long which is good . The coffee and tea was good . I will definitely go back fr breakfast with my other friends .

Their bagels are not New York style. They're boiled but not in sweet water; put in an oven but not a wood fire, so they are less sweet and less dense than New York bagels. The sesame bagel was decent. Apricot Rugelach was a small, almost bite-sized pastry made with cream cheese. It was good.

    What's cream cheese

Went in for a bagel in the to-go part of the store and they barely put cream cheese on both of the bagels I ordered. Nice staff but I swear a bagel store should know better than this. Do I have to ask for extra cream cheese next time?

Two eggs, over medium, sausage, potatoes, and their incredible bagels. Great way to start the day.

Always an amazing breakfast at Bagel World wth work friends. Two eggs, over medium, sausage, potatoes, and their incredible bagels. Total kudos to the staff who are friendly, attentive and seem to know your order better then you do.

    Shakshuka and Grilled Veggie Bagelini

This is my second time at the Newmarket Bagel Word location (it has been here for years now) and I don't know why I have not tried this place sooner! I got the Shakshuka and grilled veggie bagelini to share with a friend and both of them were to die for ! The Shakshuka is a poached egg in a delicious tomato sauce ( I hate tomato sauce so this says a lot) on a hot skillet and some home fries. I can probably eat this every time I come here. The grilled veggie bagelini was as equally amazing, and it even has goat cheese in it (my favorite!!!), I was so happy my friend and I were able to get both and share. To my knowledge most of the meals comes with an side of your choice (between garden salad and home fries) Besides food that can make you salivate the servers are very nice and check up on you regularly (even on the busiest mornings).

Bagel, twister, 2xcanollis, triple layer chocolate mousse and a large double double. Glad my wife dosnt have yelp shed b pissed!

So I went to do some take out of yummy bagels but was a bit unsure of what exactly to get. One of the waitresses there probably noticed the confusion in me and as super helpful to suggest a bunch of different options. Of course the bagels are awesome with the abundance of types of toppings etc. But omg the deserts were soooo good, highly suggest leaving with some sweets if ya got a case of the sweet tooth! Good service, fair prices, good food..... Check it out :)

I went here while on the go for a bagel with lox cream cheese. It was delicious. Whenever I pass by the place, I remind whomever I am with to check it out. It doesn't look so appealing on the outside, but the inside is quaint and displays a ton of baked goods along with killer cream cheese. Sometimes Philidelphia cream cheese just doesn't cut it. This place reminds of "the bagel stop" which I have fond memories of. I fully recommend this place.

One of my lunch hour go-to's. If you're craving that diner all-day breakfast or looking to grab a great bagel sandwich this is the place to go. Great selection on the menu. Before you go make sure to pick up a few sweets on your way out. They're hard to pass up. Staff are the friendliest bunch you'll ever meet!

And The tuna is not the best as well. I wished they used solid white tuna but obviously it is a cheaper tuna product. They have been here a while though so they must be doing something right I try to stay away but come back every few months to torture myself. Do I recommended? Hard to say. If you want a below average bagel, maybe some low quality tuna or horrendous service? Then be my guest. I'll still get my bagels from Bagel World or Kiva's They are much better products than here.

Location: Bayview North of Steele's in the Longos plaza Parking; There's a lot of free parking. It's pretty busy because the longos and it's near a Ramona's kitchen. But there's always parking. The place,: It's tiny when you first walk in you go to the spot where all the bagels are and you pick them using tongs into a bag is pretty tight in that area and you go around to where they bring out the bagels and then around where they're sweet treats and a counter. At this counter if you grab a bagel you can give it to them and get a sandwich made out of it my favorite is a toasted chicken salad no vegetables. You pay extra for vegetables and I'm too cheap to pay like a dollar for some cucumber. They have all different kinds of bagels the most popular is the rainbow bagel because more often than not it is low or not there. But don't fret because they're constantly making bagels all day and chances are there's something that's still warm to the touch because they've just brought it out! You also have some cooked food such as falafel and other things I've never ordered it but I know people that haven't said that they really like it. I am sticking to my chicken salad bagel. I think the chicken salad is delicious. I do notice that a lot of people get the egg salad and my friend swears by the smoke salmon and cream cheese. It is seriously tiny so the seating situation is zero but people don't realize, or some people don't realize, that that's actually a little mall and if you exit the store on the side you come upon a seating area where there's about 20 seats.. I've never not had a seat. I would like a lot? Yes of course I've been back many times this is one of my favorite bagel places. And let me say it again because I don't think the million other times I said it was enough, I love their chicken salad sandwiches.

Crust is located on the bottom floor of a condo building - a treat for the residents who get pass by for morning coffee & pastries I hope! Who doesn't like the smell of fresh baked bread & pastries? While there is very limited high top seating inside the bakery itself, there are plenty of tables inside the condo lobby just outside the bakery entrance. Service wasn't standout, but that's not a deal breaker in this case. I definitely recommend stopping by to pick up their baked goods. You could probably skip on the coffee - it was good, but not the star in my opinion. I treated myself to a blueberry custard tart & flaky pain au chocolat - both were incredibly delicious and I can't wait to come back to try more! Note that there is parking at the back of the building if you turn onto Yongehurst Rd.

I have been fortunate to have travelled to Ottawa and Montreal this summer. I hauled back…read moreMontreal-style bagels from both road trips. They are my favourite style of bagel. I recently ate my entire stash of bagels from both trips. The good news is that Kettleman's is coming to Etobicoke this fall. I still needed bagels, though. I headed to my local grocery store recently to get some. They weren't and aren't the same. On Saturday, I visited St. Urbain bakery and cafe, which makes a variety of Montreal-style bagels. I was in heaven looking at roughly a dozen different bagel flavours at the back of the store. A older woman asked what I'd like. She didn't come across as being warm. I asked for six sesame and six cheddar bagels. She said that it was $0.25 more for each cheddar bagel. I was good with that, although she didn't wait for me to acknowledge that I was good with it. I got all bagels in a paper bag. Yay! I thanked her. I was so happy. I felt like I had won the lottery, except that I had to pay for my goods. This bakery offers cakes, cookies, flatbreads, and more. I decided to simply get my bagels before I cleaned my entire chequing account out at this store. The woman at the counter was much more personable. She put my goodies in a plastic bag and threw in a couple of bagel bags. I used my debit card to pay. Credit cards aren't accepted. You can pay with cash, too. I have had both bagel varieties since my visit. They are soft and chewy where they should be. The cheddar is brilliant and yummy. I've never had a cheddar one before until now. It's worth shelling out a bit to have one. There is something about crispy, oven-melted cheddar that tastes delicious. I made myself an egg salad sandwich today. Some like celery in it. I do, but changed it up with green onion. It's so good with the sesame bagel. This bakery is in a plaza with parking all around it. There's a huge Starbucks cafe a couple of doors down, so it does get busy. I parked on the opposite side of where this bakery is and walked over. I'm glad that I can get my fix without doing a huge road trip out east. I am thrilled that I have found this bagel place. I am a happy Montreal-style bagel fan. (374)
