This place needs to be where you get your bagels from now on - they're perfect. Light, airy, and not at all chewy. Foot traffic is very heavy so be prepared for a line though it moves quickly! It does have every type of bagel you can think of and if you go to the far left by the refrigerators, you'll see fresh bagels.

I've been here, 10+ times and it never disappoints. It's the best bagel sandwich I've had in the Hudson Valley. It's always slammed with a line out the door. On the Jersey boarder too. Staff is quick and nice.

Service: Nice and simple Atmosphere: Simple and clean small space Food: Simple, I had higher expectations. $5.75 Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel tasted a bit plain. I personally would not get the breakfast sandwich again. It didn't taste as fresh and flavorful as the other breakfast sandwiches nearby at the same price. However, for a simple meal or pick up, the food fills you up and gets the job done. I haven't tried anything else yet so the other options and meals may be much better and more flavorful. I hope to come back and try something new. For food in the Mahwah area, it's good. In general, it's okay. For Mahwah: 7.5/10, in general: 6/10

Six stars if that were possible! The bagels here are just great, and the assorted cream cheese flavors are very nice. The lox cream cheese has more lox in it than from any other place I've ever had it. The people at the counter are nice. Thinking I have to try one of their bagel sandwiches the next time. Highly endorsed by a a Bronx-born Californian.

I have held my tongue for far too long but this is where it crosses the line. This is my 3rd time visiting in 3 months. I used to visit every week. People are NOT happy working there. I order smoked salmon and get charged premium price for 2 slices? This place used to be extremely special. I have reached out multiple times to the bagel train email and who ever to talk to someone but I never have been reached out to. Officially done eating here unless someone there can truly change my mind. There is no employee engagement, it feels dreary and the service is subpar now. No one cares and I can see it with how they all act like it is the customer bothering them. You hate to see it. here is my $13 breakfast bagel with lox

I was visiting NJ for work and we were right on the border of NY. I was on YELP and found this breakfast spot and from the reviews the food looks good af! Needless to say I went there 3 days in a row and got the same thing because it was absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. You can tell as soon as you walk in it's a local favorite spot! So many different bagels options, I only wish I could have tried their lunch menu. If you are in the area definitely stop by and check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Got to be honest, when I walked in my first reaction was these bagels will not be good. NY bagels are usually too fluffy for my taste (I'm from CT, so I like my bagels in between, not too big or flat). There was a lot of people coming in, so it must be decent I thought. To play it safe I went with a cream cheese and jelly one not expecting much. Well, these bagels were fire, once toasted (to perfection I may add) they became crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really good flavor and combo all around. Definitely recommend. Apologies to all new Yorkers and their fluffy bagels I was not familiar with what you guys got here.

Warm friendly fast service from a team that look like they take pride in what they do. Busy so order ahead.

People were rude. Bagels weren't particularly good. Only not rating it the bare minimum because it was cheap.

Surprisingly bland everything bagel…read more Upon unwrapping this bagel, I thought it held some promise. The crust was shiny and marked with tiny bubbles, and was decently browned. Unfortunately, it was pretty flavorless. The crumb, which appeared to be relatively open, was also very bland. Neither had much chew. The cream cheese was pretty standard. The everything topping itself needed more garlic, onion, and salt. Service was fine, place was empty. Price was typical of an everything bagel with cream cheese. Would not eat again.

Reality punched me in the face. this place was worse then mediocre. Granted, I arrived at 10:05 a.m., after the morning Rush, but the coffee was so thick it was more like sludge than it was Java. Hard to believe it could get that sledging in the short time between the rush hour and when I got there. I was excited when I saw Green Mountain Coffee, and very soon let down by the sludge that poured into my cup. By 10:05 a.m. they were out of about 85% of the types of bagels that had places in their case, leaving me far fewer choices. I got the last everything bagel (they had empty bins for whole-wheat-everything as well as egg-everything - but both were empty) - leading me to believe of the sellout might have been a sign of greatness. Instead the disgusting thing that I was served was yet another punch to the face. The inside was doey and undercooked and the outside had color but no crust. I ordered cream cheese and barely got enough of a schmear to even show a ripple of white between the sliced halves. My friend who was dining with me ordered a cinnamon raisin toasted with cream cheese. He said his Bagel was okay but asked where the cream cheese was. He also purchased a container of juice thereby avoiding the coffee. Long story short I won't be back. Especially because the Dunkin Donuts down the road at least puts cream cheese on their crappy bagel and makes the coffee fresh. I will leave off on a positive note though and note that the place was very clean including and especially the bathroom - it was immaculate. Good if you got to go, bad if you need a coffee or to get a bagel.
