Service was good but I got home when I discovered hair in my food and they don't even give me a refund

Classic bagel sandwiches! I had a great bagel immediately landing in New York! Fast friendly service and gave me tips on the city! Small local shop so it had a retro, classic feel to it.

The bagels are good. However the older man who seems to be the owner/manager is rude so it's not worth returning.

Bad customer service. The food is ok but not worth going back with the bad customer service with the man at the register.

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

This most recent time,…read moreI grabbed some girlfriends who have never been and we took advantage of their restaurant week menu. On a Thursday night it was quiet with only a few tables taken. Our waiter was wonderful. I started out with the Salmon Tartare which was served with toast and a salad. The salmon was delicious and so flavorful. For the main course I opted for the Steak Frites, served with a green peppercorn sauce and salad. It was wonderful, the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sauce was a nice accompaniment. They also have awesome fries. The others also loved the Duck Leg Confit and the Scampi Risotto. On to dessert and they were all sublime, I tasted them all. The Creme Brulee was lucious, the Chocolate Mousse was decadent with rich chocolate notes and the Il Fouttante was amazing. If you've never had Il Fouttante, it is a meringue floating in creme anglaise, their version was topped with caramel and pistachios; it was excellent. All the newbies agreed with how great it was and they want to return. As always Bistro Eloise delivered a fantastic dinner.

Nothing beats watching world-class soccer in a cozy French bistro packed with fans cheering every kick. Before the game even got going, they welcomed us with warm, perfectly baked French bread and butter. That's how you know you're off to a good start. We kicked things off with the Beef Bourguignon, and wow... rich, tender, and packed with flavor. Next came the Grilled Octopus & Chorizo with paprika butter roasted fingerling potatoes--smoky, perfectly cooked, and absolutely worth ordering. Then came the heavyweight champion: Le Steak Frites. A perfectly medium-rare grass-fed strip steak covered in a green peppercorn white sauce with crispy fries. Zero complaints. Just clean plates. The match was exciting, the food was outstanding, and for a couple of hours it honestly felt like we were sitting in a little corner of Paris instead of Queens. Final verdict: I came for the World Cup, stayed for the steak, and left wondering if I should start saying "oui" instead of "yeah." If the French eat like this every day... I finally understand why they don't rush through dinner.

Apps , we tried the Tostones con Birria very good great tasting meat & Chorizo Mac & cheese , also very good. Main dishes , Al pastor tacos & Chicken Burrito were both very good. Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. Cozy but not cramped, cute little spot that's great for Summer relaxed vibes and munchies. They're specialized in Latino food and drink. They apparently have a whole flight of Margaritas and/or Mojitos to sample - I'd love to try one sometime, however yesterday I stuck with a regular Margarita and was pretty pleased. Clearly made in-house, none of the store-bought drink mixes or anything involved. My mom and I split a few appetizers between the two of us and were quite full, even had some food to bring home. Went with the birria tacos (solid), a trio of other tacos (steak + chicken + pork), and a plate of fried plantains with beef and mushrooms that was really fun - first time we'd had that, glad the waitress talked us into it. Everything came with home-made guac as well. They have a full bar with quite the selection of drinks, lots of Happy Hour specials up on the walls, and a solid, straightforward menu of additional appetizers and also burgers and sandwiches. The staff are super nice and upbeat. My Ma was buying, and I believe she spent about $85 for 3+ appetizers and a drink. Not exactly cheap but it you think of it more as a filling and fairly tasty lunch for 2, roughly $40 each - it's not bad at all. Will definitely come back and give that flight of Margs a try!
