Spanish Omelette on a Jalapeño bagel with chive cream cheese ($7)
Shelby S.

Was staying in the area and a friend recommended Bagel Factory for breakfast. It's super cheap and they have some great options of pre-crafted breakfast sandwiches to try. I opted for the Spanish omelette on a jalapeño bagel with chive cream cheese. It was really tasty! The cream cheese was flavorful. Wasn't the best bagel I've ever had but it was yummy.

Every time I'm in Torrance I have to stop here. Bagels made fresh daily. Cream cheeses are made in house too. Their lox is always cold and fresh with crisp veggies. Everyone is so nice and very quick service. The weather was beautiful today so I sat outside under an umbrella.

Small cappuccino, After the foam went down. This drink did not have any steam milk.

The place is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. However, today's visit did not meet my expectations. I'm not someone who usually returns food or drinks--I tend to just take the loss. My family and friends often encourage me to speak up when something isn't prepared as requested, especially since I'm paying for it, but I'm naturally shy. I stopped by because I was craving a bagel and ordered their breakfast bagel along with a cappuccino. The cashier explained that their cappuccino consisted of espresso and milk foam only and that it would not be sweet. I told her that was fine, as I regularly order cappuccinos, think the foam milk was also part of the steam milk. Unfortunately, this location prepares their cappuccino differently than expected. The drink was essentially a single shot of espresso with only very little milk foam. Based on my understanding, a cappuccino should include espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam, but my drink did not contain any steamed milk. The disappointment with the drink ended up affecting my overall breakfast experience. When I shared my concern with the cashier, she reiterated what the drink contained and explained that this is how they prepare it at this location. After that explanation, I left. Next time I'll order a different drink.

Got a plain bagel with two types of cream cheese, one on each side - lady insisted on charging me double. Terrible service.

They don't carry meat for the breakfast sandwiches. Need my protein! Colorful bagel is a charming menu item. Awkward lobby setup.

A family friend used to get bagels and lox here every Easter. This year, I drove up from OC to get…read morethe lox after he passed and I'm glad to keep the tradition going. You get a great amount of lox for a decent price (1/2 lb for around $22). Two containers of their 8 oz cream cheeses (one original and one chive). Then a half dozen of bagels. All under $50! Fed around 12 people at our family brunch and everyone loved it. I do think one container would do for 6 bagels depending on how much everyone uses. (Definitely try the Hawaiian bagel!) The place is small but cozy and clean. I think there were a few tables to sit on but most people come in to just order and pick up. On top of that, the ladies were super lovely and even got my order going for me on the phone. I wish I was closer so we could get their lox and bagels more often! My boyfriend ordered a jalapeño bagel and she responded with "I don't see it," as if we were supposed to know where everything was. A moment later she said, "Never mind, I see it." I then noticed she grabbed a bagel from the basket labeled "wheat," so I politely said that he wanted jalapeño. She gave me attitude, rolled her eyes, and said, "Yeah, that's what I got." Looking closer, I realized the labels were actually switched....the wheat bagels were in the basket labeled jalapeño, and the jalapeño bagels were in the basket labeled wheat. I considered mentioning it again, but after how rude she had already been, I didn't want to deal with more attitude. I ordered an asiago bagel and we both got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. The food was okay, but honestly nothing special and not anything we couldn't make at home ourselves. Because of the rude service, we definitely will not be coming back.

I looked up a local bagel shop and went to Uncle Stevey's! PERFECTION! I loved their bagel flavors - I ended up getting cheddar hot honey, chili garlic crunch and an everything bagel with a container of scallion cream cheese. I was in and out in two minutes tops! I went home to make some eggs, turkey bacon, avocado, and matcha to make a nice breakfast at home and it fully satisfied my craving. The everything bagel had a great amount of topping, the chili garlic crunch had a nice heat, and the cheddar hot honey was perfectly sweet with a cheesy crust. I would probably mainly get a half dozen to go again, but the shop had a great ambiance and I wouldn't mind eating there and taking a walk around the neighborhood. Parking was ample and really easy too!

The chili garlic bagel paired so well and was toasted perfectly. The Lew was good as well but I'm sauce girl so hot sauce or additional cream cheese would have made this one shine even brighter. Ordered to go but they have some seating indoor and outdoor available.
