Bagel Boys is a convenient spot to pick up breakfast items. I got a sesame bagel sandwich- can't remember the name of the sandwich but it came with chive cream cheese, cheddar, tomatoes, and onions. I'm a bit of a bagel snob and wished the bagel itself was softer and chewier- but it wasn't bad. Would come again for their sandwich combos.

Bacon egg and cheese

All in all it was a good bagel sandwich, the bacon and eggs were done right. The bagel was probably the most disappointing, pretty tough and doughy. For a bagel shop you'd think they'd focus on bagel quality, and this was in the morning.

The egg was better than the bagel. It was ok but nothing extraordinary I'll try a different bagel next time

Weird looking egg

Went and got bagels this morning. First left of cream cheese on one of the bagels. For the second bagel it was a bacon egg and cheese. The bacon looked like it was cooked for 2 seconds. Who was cooking this and thought hmm that bacon looks good. Disgusting. The eggs I believe are frozen. Inedible the way the eggs looked .... And was very off putting. Never eating here again. Better off going to the store getting a sleeve of bagels and cream cheese. Would taste 100% then whatever we were just given.

a half eaten sandwich

Maybe I'm from New York and my standards are a little high but the bagels had very little taste and texture and you could get a better bagel at Einstein's. The white fish was awful and a thin slice of tomato showed their lack of love for sandwiches.

The best bagels! I've been going there for a very long time and have had the best service both driveup and in restaurants.

The drive thru window is closed, which would be nice to know before you place a mobile order with your dog in the car.

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

We had no trouble finding street parking, and with the humidity picking up, we were happy to grab a table inside. When we asked for recommendations, the pancakes were the clear favorite. They do take about 20 minutes to prepare, but they're absolutely worth the wait. The waitress also suggested ordering just one pancake for our son since there isn't a kids' menu, and we should have listened! These pancakes are incredibly thick and filling. We also ordered the chicken and waffles, along with eggs, a biscuit, and potatoes. Everything was delicious and really hit the spot. The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the service made the experience even better. As a bonus, we enjoyed the open green space nearby with a fountain and surrounding shops, making it a great area to walk around before or after your meal. We'd definitely stop here again the next time we're in the area.

While it was not a busy time and empty tables were plentiful the Hostess stand seemed dazed and confused. Some attention to efficiency needs to happen here. The food itself was actually pretty tasty. The Isla Verde was delicious. A house infused basil and white rum with coconut cream, basil syrup and a balsamic glaze. I went with the Chia Pudding Bowl. The coconut chia pudding was very good and the house granola was excellent. I was impressed with the freshness, amount and many different fruits that come with this bowl. I would definitely order it again. But the slow and lacking service, continuously having to ask for drinks and various sides multiple times left a sour taste. It was like they didn't care. Again they were not busy so I'm not sure what the problem was. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence and this is not the norm.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a warm, modern aesthetic and comfortable seating. They also offer outdoor seating, which would be especially nice in good weather. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was prepared perfectly--tender, flavorful, and exactly how a steak should be done. The sides were equally good. I had the fire-roasted broccolini and a salad with a house-made blue cheese dressing that was excellent. Service was fast and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. As someone who recently moved to the Southeast from the San Francisco Bay Area and spends a lot of time traveling for work, I'm always looking for memorable meals on the road. While the hotel itself was fairly typical for a business stay, the restaurant was easily the highlight. Insider tip: If you're staying at the Hilton Alpharetta, it's absolutely worth dining here rather than leaving the property. Overall, Harth was a fantastic dining experience and I'd gladly return the next time I'm in the area--even just for the restaurant.

I found it a little one-note and somewhat mundane--nothing particularly memorable, although it's still a solid, perfectly drinkable cup. The ice helped balance the flavor a bit, but overall, this would be more of a "good enough" order for me rather than something I'd go out of my way to get. The Caramel Macchiato was very sweet, even for someone with a serious sweet tooth like me. The caramel flavor really takes center stage, to the point where it almost overpowers the coffee. If you love sweet, caramel-forward drinks, though, this could absolutely be your thing. The ambience is definitely one of the highlights. It's cute, cozy, and very photo-friendly, although the space itself is pretty small, so I wouldn't necessarily come here expecting to settle in with a large group. What really stood out to me was the service. The barista who helped me choose my drinks was incredibly kind and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to answer questions and make recommendations, which made the experience feel much more welcoming. If you're unsure what to order, definitely don't hesitate to ask! Overall, I'd come back to explore more of the menu--the drinks I tried weren't particularly memorable for me, but the atmosphere and friendly service definitely left a good impression.
