I wanted to like this place so much but the experience was just...meh. I like a nice toasted bagel and even getting ours "double toasted" resulted in very little crisp to the outside of the bagel. The prices were a bit shocking as well. We won't be back unfortunately. read more

I went to the new location in the Beach Express and while the bagels are delicious, they don't toast them. When you order one toasted, they just set it on the grill for a minute. I ordered it double toasted and it came it barely warm and not toasted at all. I still enjoyed the bagel - fresh and homemade - I just wish they had a toasted option. read more

The food was delicious! There was about a 20-25 minute wait, but you can tell the food is all fresh made and they provide big portions too! The servers were friendly and very well informed on the menu items. This place is built inside of a house on the side of the street and it gives off a really cool breakfast homey vibe. My new favorite breakfast spot in Gulf Shores/Foley. Bagel Boy has a small menu, but the quality is high and most importantly, DELICIOUS. I visited multiple times in the week leading up to New Years Eve 2025. Great artist hired for the logo and digital signs, it's got a 1920s/30s cartoon aesthetic. Totally dig it and it brings a cheery vibe to the place I tried a couple menu items and kept coming back to their Classic Breakfast Bagel Sandwich (Bacon, Egg, Cheese on a Plain Bagel). Their Bagel sandwiches are huge! Easily shareable. I loved unwrapping them to see the steam rising off (*chefs kiss*). The Everything Bagel was also incredibly tasty. We went here on a Sunday morning before a soccer game. Heard great things about it, so we thought we would give it a try. The food was really good, and I recommend the SEC bagel if you like steak egg and cheese. So one complaint is the service was very slow. I thought it would be fast for just getting bagels. I had to leave my wife waiting on the food so I could take my child to the soccer game so she wouldn't be late. The wait was at least 45 minutes total. Now they were busy, but I think it should have been faster. Another complaint was they were out of several things. Such as the types of bagels on the menu. They have a very small number of tables inside and outside. The inside was full, so we had to sit at an outside table while waiting on our food. It may be faster during the week, but I don't know. Wooooow. I found Bagel Boy on Yelp and knew we had to stop by on the way back to Nashville. The logo and vibes are reminiscent of a few local places that we have back home that we LOVE so we figured it had to be good. It is! We got the Spicy Boy and the Classic, as well as Brown Sugar Cinnamon cold brews, a few extra bagels for home, and a shirt! Everything was incredible. The bagels are HUGE and I'm ashamed at how much I ate but also have zero regrets. I'll be thinking about this place until we come back next Summer. Humongous bagels! We stopped off on our way home from the beach to grab some breakfast to eat in the car. Service was fast and very friendly. We pulled away and started handing out the bagels and quickly realized that these were most definitely not easily eaten while driving. They were huge and packed full of deliciousness!
