If you need an HONEST, reliable, professional, SMART General Contractor, you should ABSOLUTELY hire…read more5C Home Solutions for any work you need! The owner, Ray, is the VERY BEST! I cannot recommend 5C Home Solutions highly enough! From start to finish, the owner, Ray, demonstrated exceptional honesty, professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. 5C Home Solutions was hired by the previous homeowner to completely remodel their 1966 home before putting it up for sale, and the results were simply beautiful and immaculate. Nothing was slapped together the way you often see in house flips. The house had never been remodeled until Ray came in - and WOW! 5C Home Solutions did everything - including completely remodeling and modernizing a very dated kitchen, removing the outdated wood paneling and finishing the drywall to a more updated look, moving and redesigning the master closet (which is a true work of art, completely designed by Ray), remodeling both bathrooms, installing new flooring, all new interior painting, and so much more. After seeing the high quality of the work done, I immediately hired Ray for additional jobs to add my personal touches. His remodeling work was flawless, so I didn't hesitate for a moment - and hiring him was absolutely the best decision - I truly cannot recommend him highly enough! My projects involved painting all the exterior brick and trim, installing rain gutters, adding shelving to closets, adding/moving electrical outlets, installing a doggy door in the wall, repairing the fence, adding special window ledges for my cats, hanging a TV and curtains, and a number of other projects around the home. The results exceeded all my expectations! He stood by all the work he had done for the previous owner, and I have no doubt in my mind that he will do the same for the work he did for me - which is really meaningful in today's world of no-show, shoddy General Contractors. The entire process was seamless. Ray took the time to understand my vision, offered valuable suggestions and advice, and kept me informed at every stage. His communication was prompt and clear, which made the whole experience stress-free. He respected my home, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Moreover, Ray was there for me multiple times to help with random, unplanned jobs, such as installing my dishwasher when the movers were there, getting my dryer running after an electrical outlet issue popped up, and so much more. On the day I moved in (the first truly hot day of the year), my A/C wouldn't come on, and I was panicking that the HVAC unit had gone out. Ray came out immediately to check it out and discovered that it was a simple wiring problem caused by the ADT rep who had installed it incorrectly. Ray had the A/C running within minutes! I was so relieved I could have cried, and SO appreciative that he came out as soon as he heard what we were dealing with on that stressful day. When a leak developed in my ceiling only a few days after moving in, he immediately went up on the roof and discovered that there was ponding where leaves had piled up. He cleaned off the leaves, climbed through my attic to check that there were no issues, and then repainted the ceiling where a stain had formed (including coming out again at no charge when the stain needed a second coat of Kilz and paint, which was no fault of his.). These are just a few examples demonstrating how Ray was there for me when I needed him. With this being my first home, and with my lack of expertise in the area, Ray could have taken advantage of me easily, and NEVER did. In short, Ray was there for me every time I needed him, no matter the size of the problem. The quality of the work is OUTSTANDING. Every aspect was executed with precision and care. Ray's attention to detail is evident in the flawless finish. 5C Home Solutions went the extra mile to ensure that every little detail was perfect, which truly sets them apart from other contractors. In addition to the superb quality of work, what impressed me most was the commitment to customer satisfaction. Any questions, added projects, or last-minute changes were addressed promptly and professionally. Ray genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the final product, and it shows in the beautiful, functional finished product. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused General Contractor, look no further than 5C Home Solutions! They turned my renovation dreams into reality, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you, Ray, for your exceptional service and craftsmanship! I will absolutely be hiring you in the future, and continually recommending you to family and friends!

I am extraordinarily detail oriented (thanks to my Dad who is a contractor) and Tom picked up on that instantly. He constantly checked in with my husband to ensure that he was doing what we wanted. He even joked one of the times saying, "Are you sure Hannah won't care?" To which my husband responded, "Yeahhhh....you're probably right. Go ahead and do it." Haha! His work ethic is top notch. He called every time he clocked in and out and when he went on lunch. His prices are also incredible for the work he does. I am so thankful that the Lord brought us Tom. He is honest, professional, friendly and a diligent hard worker. I would trust him with my home anytime! I can't say enough good things about him---Yelp has a limit!! Thanks, Tom! You're awesome.

Keeping the same rating. Addressing 3 points made…read more 1) The last visit was essentially just to ask for money NOT discussed or finalized, so yes...I consider that nickel and diming. The number requested for payment was never mentioned prior to the particular work done. Plain and simple...however, we paid it. Because we are people that pay for work that was done, despite not knowing what the final payment out would be...and the prior already done was done well. 2) Yes, we mentioned that the whole house needed more work in general and thay we would deal with a mess or debris, but general logic, seeing that our son's nursery was already painted and finished and he was already using the room...one would think that it would be the right thing to do to clean up in that room. But I will take responsibility for this miscommunication because I made assumptions. 3) It's one thing to offer to do something...and it's another to actually fulfill and execute on an offer. Robert offered to fix the sheetrock but we were NEVER able to get him or his sheetrock out to fix it. It's after multiple weeks of trying to get him out that we finally decided that he was leaving us high and dry and paid someone else to do the fix. Multiple (3+weeks). The fix would have been a redo of misdone work originally and he was already paid in full...so I understand there is no urgency or incentive to come back out to do work on work that just needs to be redone. It's easy to respond 2+ yrs later to my original review to say that you OFFERED to come out, but we waited and waited, longer than the acceptable amount of time.
