I found this looking for poultry farms in the area on yelp. Glad I did! They were very welcoming and polite. They limit 2 people within the small shop at a time as per social distancing rules. The lady restocking the shelves gave me some imperfect tomatoes for free. We joked about them being just so darn ripe they had to burst lol. The fresh chicken and egg prices are extremely fair. They had a special on the cucumbers; buy 2 get one free (they were friggin huge! You can use them as a weapon!) The other produce we got are eggcelent as well! The the chickens looks awesome. We ordered a Capon for Thanksgiving instead of turkey. Well based on the taste, I doubt we will ever have turkey again! It was flavorful and moist. Not dry. Made a fabulous broth too with the carcass and neck. We plan on buying our chickens there too! read more

Whatever you have heard or read about cage free organic eggs... It's all true! I bought a package of jumbo pasteurized cage free eggs and an extra jumbo pack as well and those eggs tasted superior to the normal eggs you get at value at a supermarket. The staff @ Baffoni's were great at answering questions. I go home and do a comparison visual and taste test. I was BLOWN AWAY! You will be paying a little bit more but the quality far surpasses the thought of the amount of money you might be saving on bland eggs. Gone are the days where I will go to a Stop & Shop or a Shaws to buy eggs. I will now be making a weekly trip for superior eggs at the Baffoni's and getting grass fed grass finished meet at another local butcher shop! read more

Time to bump this farm up a star. I come here now every time I want to buy quality poultry. The prices are very reasonable, service is always very good, and their chicken is always very delicious. The chicken here exceeds in flavor even more expensive organic options at supermarkets b/c it's so fresh. Even if I am pressed for time and just quick grill an unseasoned chicken cutlet on a panini press, my boyfriend ends up wandering over for a bite, and every single time he's making these satisfied happy snuffling noises and murmuring "mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm". They sell great eggs, but I really love their chicken! I buy from this farm almost every Saturday at the South Kingstown Farmer's Market. Their eggs are always fresh, so fresh that they don't recommend making hard boiled eggs out of them right away because they become so difficult to peel. All the eggs are hand picked and hand packed. They treat all their chickens as humanely as possible, which is very important to us and it is a big reason we purchase from this farm. It is extremely difficult to find a chicken at a grocery store that hasn't lived its' life stuffed in tiny battery cages and is mistreated. Their chickens are very fresh and delicious! They also sell turkeys, but I have not tried it yet, maybe this Thanksgiving. They sell at different Farmer's Markets and I believe they have a store front near their farm as well. I recently learned they take orders ahead of time so people can make sure they will have what they want set aside for them because they do tend to run out. Also, the person that works at the South Kingstown Farmer's Market is very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about the products and services from this farm. read more

I've never been to a poultry farm, but found Baffoni's while looking up farmstands in our area. I'm a proponent of buying and eating local, so I checked it out. I've been going back once a week or so for free range chicken and eggs, and can recommend it highly. The prices are better than I expected. I've paid much more at farmer's markets and places like Whole Foods. I hope to get our holiday turkey there, too. read more
