Go see Badri! She is fantastic and saved my hair. Since finding her last year she is the only person i will use when getting big treatments such as keratin or color. She is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%. Her color correction was totally amazing and I had a great time too. I don't mind having to fly into San Diego from Seattle because i know when i see her my hair will be a dream.

Absolutely cannot recommend this salon enough. Every time I go I get consistent, quality service from Badri. Badri gave my daughter and I a Keratin/straightening treatment and haircut and we could not have been more pleased with the results. Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambience was very pretty and elegant. Badri is amazing! She's so skilled and so sweet. Highly recommend! This is the only salon that I trust to properly deal with my hair. Her extensive knowledge and skill are truly unmatched.

Badri is a magician! I had very short straggly hair and she took me from that to what looks like a model in a shampoo ad. Besides doing an amazing job on my extensions, she also has done several other cuts and styles and I am always happy with her work. Badri also really listens. If you tell her what you want, she delivers. There are no surprises where you walk out wondering if she actually heard what you said. In addition, Badri is interested in the health of your hair, not just styling. She recommends excellent products and helps make your hair strong, shiny and healthy.

I came to town for a wedding and had never met Badri before. I had a lot of anxiety because I have very fine, flat hair and can never get my hair to hold a curl or look voluminous. Other times I have spent hundreds of dollars to get my hair done and it just falls right out. Badri took the time necessary to blow dry, texture, and curl my hair not once but TWICE to make sure it stayed. She spared no expense with her use of products and clips in order to help me achieve a beautiful look that lasted ALL NIGHT. I bought some human hair extensions and flower clips on Amazon and told her to just do her thing. This is what she came up with and I got compliments ALL NIGHT ( my hair looked better than the bride's, Whoops!! ). She doesn't rush you or give a once-size fits all approach; As I was leaving, she even pulled me back in to add some finishing touches so it would be perfect. Her price was beyond reasonable, especially for a professional that is used to doing hair for Oscar's attendees and runway models. Badri really is an expert at what she does and will go above and beyond to make you happy. I promise you will love your hair.

For the last 10 years I have stayed loyal and almost always had my thick coarse fobolicious Indian hair cut by one older Persian lady in Irvine. I literally drove over an hour and back because I have never been able to have a haircut that looks professional and has volume at the top but can keep my length. Finally they retired and I tried two other places in San Diego but it was always still flat at the top with no volume at the top of my head. I finally had a day off and found Badri Kermani's salon. I called her up and luckily she was able to squeeze me in last minute. Her individual hair salon is in the Del Mar Plaza inside of Salon G where she has a room for her own clients. Badri is a true artist, like all artists she is very unique and cuts hair differently from anyone I have ever seen. She is a free wild spirit and her salon is small and has one chair, but the bottom line is she knows exactly what she's doing and can create volume at the crown and style like you never had. You don't know what you're missing until you try her out. She gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had in my life, and I've been to a some top notch salons in NY and LA in my life, but Badri is one of the best. I especially recommend her for THICK Indian hair!

Sorry to say, but this beauty salon has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service and the timing was ridiculous ( they kept me waiting around forever). I left this salon with a headache from the stress i had there. Also, it's an insult to charge what they did for the service received. awful atmosphere. It only took 14 years but I found my hairdresser!! I had been looking for a stylist since I moved to San Diego from the east coast. I just didn't think I had tons of options trying to choose a stylist who did ethnic hair. A friend of mine recommended Badri and I loved her hair so I figured I would give her a try. Made my appointment via text and arrived a few days later. Badri sat me in the chair and put her hands in my hair and a few minutes later it already looked better. She hadn't even washed it yet. Daaaayuuuum!! I got color for the first time and when she took off the towel after washing it my jaw dropped. I had blonde highlights. This woman is talented, creative and funny. I have been doing hair for over 15 years and I am very passionate in my work. Satisfaction is key when it comes to my clients and quality is my biggest measurement. I specialize in hair coloring, apply strict supervision and guidance when doing razor texturizing. My talents go beyond just doing hair and to complete your overall look I am a makeup artist that uses the latest makeup application called airbrushing. I also specialize in Brazilian straightening and eyelashes extensions. I have also had my work with hair and make up displayed at different fashion shows. My extensive background in the industry explains itself. I have been to various training courses and attending many academies in states including Ohio, New York, and California. I have gained the ability to use the latest hair cutting techniques the industry has to offer by constantly educating myself in all aspects of hairstyyling. It was a Wednesday evening- after closing time, so I did not expect a call back until the next day. It wasn't even 5 minutes later that my phone rang and I spoke with Kelly. She told me that Rebecca just received a cancellation and could get me in on Friday morning. To say I was stunned is an understatement. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Once in Rebecca's chair, I could tell she "got me". She listened to my ideas, looked at the photos I brought in and chatted with me about her thoughts. Then she got straight to work. I should have written this review a long time ago! I can't say enough good things about Badri or her talent as a hair stylist. She is just amazing. I went in Dec 2011 because I needed a change. I avoid hair salons like the plague because I am 25 and have NEVER had a good experience with haircuts. I'm the girl who cringes at every snip and regrets every decision to trust someone with my locks. Basically, I hate getting my hair cut. A lot. I looked around a ton a saw how many people had great things to say about Badri, plus our last names are eerily similar so I thought, hey why not? :) Badri let's the hair "speak" to her. Apparently they had a great conversation because I have never been so satisfied after leaving a salon. I literally turned heads after I left. No, seriously, I did. I've never received so many compliments on my hair in my life! My only regret is that I didn't have enough $$ to let her color my hair (even though she offered me a great price). I moved a month later and just recently attempted to get a trim. I showed the new girl a picture of what Badri did in hopes she would attempt to replicate it...my bangs were the best thing EVER. But, of course, she chopped them off and now I look like a bad Joan Jett impersonator. I'm letting my hair grow out again until I can go back to Badri in July. Badri is awesome! While I was getting my hair colored, the girl next to me came in for a haircut and we were talking about how we came to select Badri. We were both new clients who heard and read so many good things about her and we wondered if it would be true. Thank goodness for both of us, all the great reviews are legit! Badri took time to really listen to her clients, provided helpful insight that was clearly based in vast experience, and created masterpieces for them. The girl next to me left the salon extremely happy and filled with positivity she didn't have when she came in. As for myself, Badri chose the perfect hair color and fixed my various multi-color issues. Then she spent hours transforming my super short hair to long, luxurious locks of high-quality extensions. She educated me regarding the damaging effects of metal bead extensions and steered me to a better product for my fine hair. She worked tirelessly and gave me the appropriate number of extensions I needed to make my style work. Badri's perfectionism works in the client's favor because she really has a passion for what she does and she wants you to absolutely LOVE your results. I think that passion, her high level of knowledge and experience, her energy, work ethic, the desire to please her client, and her artistic talents add up to one fantastic hair professional you'll ever come across. Badri (hair stylist - Encinitas) is now my "GO TO" hairstylist at Divinity Salon & Boutique. She has done many of my friends(women, men and children). When i came to Badri (hair stylist - Encinitas) i had tried different salons and barbers. My hair is very difficulty to work with and the hair style i want is very difficult. She was able to do everything i asked and suggested what products to use. I was scared at first because i am very picky about my hair but when she finished i was truly amazed. I didn't know talent like this still existed. If you look at badri's work you can see she has done a lot of clients. She told me about her fashions shows and its funny because that's where i saw her work. On top of all her great ability's she is a great make up artist. I know she is always attending fashion shows and if you have a chance you should check them out!! Hey Badri! Badri has had a natural talent and instinct for hair from the beginning in the early 90s'. She practiced on me while attending her first College training with cuts, highlighting, perms, etc...I had no concerns at all. I knew I was in great hands and completely trusted her and she did my hair for several years. She had such a love, excitement, and passion for her craft then, and it is clearly still just as strong today. I went with her as her model for State exams. She is so sweet, funny, and makes you feel so at ease. I moved away to Texas in 99' and went to see family in Ohio a few years later and knew I wanted her to cut my hair when i got there. I was just astounded and happy at how much better my hair was able to be worked with after a really skilled cut!! If I lived there in California, there wouldn't be another person who would touch my hair but her! I came here last November, because I saw the good reviews, and I wanted to take the red out of my hair. I naturally have dark ash brown hair, and had lots of blonde in my hair in the summer of 18. Well, I wanted a change, and wanted to go dark. I went to a hair salon in La Jolla and when they made me dark they turned a lot of my hair red! I hate red! I came to Badri's on a whim, after reading the reviews, and I'm soo happy I did! She is wonderful!!She has lots of experience, and did an excellent job on my hair!! She took out all the red, and made it a beautiful rich brown!!Then, she added an Olaplex treatment on it, and it softened my hair that was dried out, beautifully! Also, her blow dry was on point! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair! She really goes out of her way to make her clients happy and I'm soo happy I found her! Badri is very professional and did an amazing job on my hair! I went to Badri this morning for color, wash, blow dry, and flat iron. Before she began, we had a conversation about where I wanted my hair dyed (the roots or all over) and what color I wanted. I can't tell you how much I appreciated this short consultation (free and not scheduled). Hairstylists usually do not do this. They just look at what you scheduled your appointment for and that's it. I have been going to Badri to get my hair done for a very long time. Wherever she goes, I follow. I don't need to tell her what I want, she just knows because she is a true artist. I just had the best haircut I've ever had! Badri is a true artist and really knows her stuff. I have lots of very fine hair that frizzes and tangles easily. I told Badri I'd like to grow my hair longer, but didn't think layers would work on me. She presented me with multiple options and then gave me a layered cut that looks FANTASTIC. I've had layers before but they never looked right because it was a bad cut. Go see Badri! You will not be disappointed. The salon is beautiful, too.
