I traveled, got sick, and when home I got back Sychrony Bank I saw the purchase was on the Synchrony Bank credit card. Interest was charged from my day of purchase, no bill for the first month was ever received (according to those taking in my mail),and I was also billed twice for late payments on the only bill I received. Is Dick's so hard up for money they need to present customers with such cheezy offers? Suppose so, but they lost me as a customer with this cheezy offer of "future savings" with the Synchrony card. Beware. Be careful.

They sold guns and had a hunting lodge. There were compound, recurve and crossbows. The hunting lodge has now been filled with fishing equipment, kayaks, and safes. It has lost its glory. However, you can still buy a hunting or fishing license here. There is a fair selection of fishing stuff. Most kayaks are pelican brand. There is a golf section which I've never seen anyone in. There are bikes in the back, and exercise equipment which kids play on. There has been an increase in sporting apparel offerings, as well as shoes. Prices are retail. You might not get a bargain on anything unless you have a coupon in the mail, for which you need to hand over some personal information.

The young man working the letter ironing was also great (ironically, I noticed he was in the middle of creating the kids' tee shirts for the league my husband will be coaching)...he was happy to stop what he was doing, went to find me a good tee shirt to use, made suggestions on what would look nice, and finished the shirt in minutes. Lastly, because of the incredible sidewalk sale they have going on right now, the charge for this was so cheap I thought I heard him wrong. My husband's family are lifelong friends of the Lloyds, but the employees of course didn't know this about me while taking care of me today. I left thinking that it's very cool to know that they clearly treat all of their customers like family, because they took care of me as if I was a family member asking for a special favor. The stuff they do have all fits into the "urban chic" style. 95% of their hats are Yankees (weird, right, since we're in Philly) -- I'm talking 20+ different styles of NY hats.
