This Nike Factory Store is located in the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping center, located in…read moreCenter City on Market Street. it's a fairly large store. it's filled with discounted and overruns of Nike sneakers and clothing (basically Nike merchandise that is not selling well, discontinued, or out of season). it's very much Nike store--brightly lit, well-maintained and clean, and merchandised well. and thankfully, it does NOT smell like feet lol. there are two floors to this store...only really explored the ground floor where the majority of sneakers are. it's very much where you can buy sneakers to actually use versus "grails" aka rare kicks. lots of retail "bricks." there was more running sneakers variety, here, than I thought and obviously they have sneakers across the sports categories. the discounts are pretty good dependent on the sneaker and how badly it sold or how quickly they want to empty inventory. i think if you set the general Nike app or SNKRS app to this store, you can search its inventory. never tried bc running sneakers is pretty much in one area of the store. there's tons of open-box sneakers piled up neatly if you want to search by size. you may find better deals versus the shelved stuff. would never come here during the weekend bc this is in a shopping center with high traffic. but weekdays are a safe bet. have not purchased here in a while bc the last pair i thought about was cleared out the next time i went aka you snooze you lose. the staff are hit-or-miss, generally helpful, but in general the service has been passable at worst. if you are looking to make a day of shopping, there's a decent variety of stores in this general area + an AMC movie theater. if you're looking for high-in-demand sneakers, you probably won't find them here...but if you are looking for your workhorse sneakers...then this place is a good place to find a pair.

This is actually a great store in a great location. I am most impressed with the staff…read moreLots of very young people very knowledgeable very polite very helpful. It's just a great environment. It's nice to see young people working that hard. And seeming to actually enjoy what they're doing. The prices are also remarkably cheap

I really have to wonder if the people who talk about the great selection here have been to…read moreliterally any other store, anywhere? Their produce selection is abysmal. Do you need a pepper? No, you can only buy a pack of 6. Do you need a lemon? Again, you can only get a gigantic bag. Want some green beans or Brussels sprouts? They don't have them. How about some ginger root? Again, not carried. Do you need some body wash? It's all locked up, better get an associate! How about a card for a baby shower? You have the option of three. In the market for women's shoes? They have precisely ZERO. Their makeup/nail polish selection is satisfactory. There is a Starbucks on-site, which was thrilling upon my first visit. I got breakfast and a latte! But on my second visit, exactly one week to the minute later, I was told that the Starbucks didn't open until 8 am. Funny, because my friend and I were served at 7:25 the week before, and the website (photo included here) says you open at 7, too. Gotta love the consistency! (Not.) While the location is convenient, the selection is atrocious, the PPD officer stationed at the front door is a bit unnerving, they push everyone to self-checkout even when there are unoccupied employees available, and there's not even a guarantee that you can get a redeeming Starbucks beverage! I'm done. Never again.

If I could, I'd give the place 2 and 3/4 stars, the additional 3/4 for their friendly service. The…read moreproblem I got with this place is it's overpriced, and doesn't have a very good selection of long guns. Now if you're in the market for a cheap, small, used pistol (like a Derringer or a Berretta .25) Colosimo's is a good place to shop-- they have those in spades. But for higher-end mechandise you can often find better deals at South Philadelphia Gun and Archery or Clayton's in Horsham. That being said, if you find something you like, there is normally room to haggle here. Colosimo's also has a range next door. Haven't been to it, so I can't comment, but last time I was there they were only equipped for handguns and .22s, no high-power rifles. Though they were talking about upgrading, so if you're in that area of town and have a rifle, you might wanna check it out to see. It should be noted that Colosimo's has been targeted by the gun-control crowd over the years, so if you support the continuation of progressive gun laws in Philly, you might wanna give Colosimo's some business, even if it's just to buy ammo.

Ammo is a bit pricey at the range and it's in disrepair but its got a really cool run down…read moreatmosphere that you want in a range at this location. They have a $50 membership option for 3 months which is cost effective. I don't know if I'd buy a gun here, the mark up on the handguns seems pretty steep. Extra star for no breathalysers!
