I've been shopping there since the 60's. If they can't please you, it's your problem. Quality clothes for over 70 years.

Gotta love the ego posturing reviews busting on this place like y'all are too good. Please. Get…read moreover yourselves. You went in for bargains; they're there, pretty much every visit. None of the other reviews mention any actual experience or give photos. Why even post something? This is the "hole-in-the-wall" dive bar version of shopping. They have $5 authentic MLB gear because they're not making the store all posh. Get it? Economics 101. Want to pay $32 for the same MLB tee? Go to Kohl's. Certainly Kohl's is not posh, but I doubt these other reviewers really know posh anyway. Come here expecting dive bar ambiance, dive bar staff, and dive bar ghetto chaos. Prepare to work for your bargain by digging through racks, and you'll find them. I've gotten great deals on Gildan hoodies. GoldToe mostly-cotton athletic socks, auth Philly team gear, and tons of kid clothes for $0.50 to $5/pc on Lands End, Children's Place, and a variety of sporty brands like Champion/Adidas/Puma etc. Shoe section is normally low quality but occasionally I'll find something good. The staff is always friendly to me. I don't treat people like servants or expect the worst. I am polite and respectful of hard-working human beings and I generally get kindness reflected for that outlook. All in all I love this place for the money it saves me. Not worth the gas from my home to go if I'm not nearby, but almost every time I visit Heinz Reserve I stop on the way home. And almost every visit, I leave a few bargains richer!

It was fine. I won't say customer service was exceptional, but the worker I encountered when it…read morewas time to pay for my items was helpful when necessary. When I arrived, no one really greeted me or asked me for assistance, so I just took note of that and moved on. What I actually really liked what the men's selection here. I thrift quite a bit and it's honestly rare to find a decent breadth of Men's thrifted clothing. This store had probably the most vast men's section I've seen at a thrift. It took up one side of the store. What I've found is every thrift store has somewhat of an identity. This one is hard to pinpoint, but I have to say, it is not the hipster domain that some secondhand stores have become. This store felt more like a place people just looking for some deals turn up to. It was actually really refreshing. That in mind, I found the selection of vintage pieces here to be slightly above average. I even found a very rare band tee (that I plan on flipping). I was shocked at how great this place was for the unique vintage I love, but I think that largely has to do with it being more of a place frequented by community and not a hotbed for those millenials and Gen Z-ers just now on the thrift wave.

I was only coming in to look to see if there were any tools for sale. Within five minutes of being told, the store is closing in 20 minutes, the same woman came up to me, and I had nothing in my hands, and says to me you need to go get in line now... I paused, pointed at my chest and said "are you talking to me?" She said no I'm just talking to everybody. You need to go get in line so you could check out. The rest of the people in the store were herded toward the cash register. My total time inside of the store? Less than nine minutes, and pushed out the door, and I'm writing this review at 5:37 PM. Just thought that upper management should know what it looks like going into the store.

This store recently opened and got me in the door with a $10 coupon for a $10 minimum purchase--a…read morepretty good deal if you ask me. I wanted to show my gratitude by writing a review. This store was a little peculiar, as Burlington Coat Factories go. It looks a little fancy, pretty clean, sleek and new, but it's mostly the same stuff. Men's stuff is in the basement, Women's on the ground floor, and Children's upstairs. I found the women's section to have a disproportionate amount of handbags and things, and a lot less in the way of clothing. The men's section was more normal, but it was skewed more towards shirts and had some notable omissions (they had no pajama pants!). Like this store usually is, it was hit-or-miss, with high-quality brands mixed in with really low-quality ones, and all in a similar price range. I also found some women's socks mixed in with the men's socks. Overall, I found the clothing here to be more bright and colorful than is typical. I've visited two other Burlington locations (Lancaster outlets and center city Philly) multiple times, and the clothing at these other stores tends to be pretty drab. This place is an explosion of color, which perhaps reflects the demographics in this neighborhood--and I found it welcome. Men's clothing is a little more drab, as usual, but I still found it more colorful than normal. The checkout line moves fast, which was good, because there was a long line. I was impressed with the efficiency of the employees here. The other day I was at a K-mart in center city and it was a disaster, so I can really appreciate speed on this point. One downside of this place is parking...there's no lot, leaving you to find street parking, which wasn't very hard, but may take effort if you go at a busier time. Thankfully, this place is within easy walking distance of the 69th street terminal, a place I usually find myself every week or every other week or so, so it's conveniently accessible without a car. I personally am a big fan of transit so I was happy to see (and support) a store opening up in a transit-oriented area. If this place wanted 5 stars? I'd recommend them ditching the low-quality brands (stuff like Perry Ellis men'swear, cheap stuff that falls apart after a few months of use) and carrying less stuff but focusing on quality. Like I said, there are high-quality brands mixed in here at about the same prices, but they're mixed in with junk brands. I also think this place would do well to be a tad more comprehensive...where are the PJ pants? Maybe more men's hats? And I know it's approaching spring but there were no hats, scarves, or gloves I found in either men's or women's and I think it's important to stock at least a few of these year-round.
