I recently upgraded to a bigger unit, I planned to go elsewhere because they didn't have the size I needed. But then Mark reached out to me asking why I was switching companies, I explained the situation and he stayed in contact with me until we came to an agreement on another unit and now I'm moved into a bigger unit and a very satisfied customer. After initially being quoted 1 price over the phone and then the customer…read morerep trying to make me sign a higher price at the store and insisting that his price was final, I contacted the manager and he fixed the price to the one I was given over the phone. I appreciated this. Their pricing system is very, very complicated and is not designed for long term storage. It kind of feels like it is designed to trick the customer into increasingly higher payments. An initial new customer price quickly rises to nearly double that price over a year. I understand that climate controlled storage pays a premium but this storage might be the most expensive in the city for simple long term storage. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place unless you only need it for a few months or if you absolutely have to have climate controlled storage. The company could probably make more money with longer term, stable pricing that doesn't accelerate so high. Something like the first 4 months at a new customer discount and then an expected stable price is much, much easier for the customer to navigate.

After 2 payments, they randomly decided to increase the monthly rate with an email. Since we live in Boston we are stuck until late August. I'd discuss rate and make sure you are locked in if possible for the duration of the rental. I've reached out for an explanation, but not response from anyone with the company.
