I was a little nervous about the heat, but they keep them right around 125 and if that's too hot, you can always adjust accordingly to what would make you more comfortable. The best part is that you don't have to work out for as long. I did a bike workout for 12 minutes and after waiting 15 minutes for my Pilates, I had already burned off another 85 active calories just by standing there. The staff is so friendly and great at explaining things. Wade is super attentive and really walked us through the entire process. The best perk is that it's way cheaper than most places you would go for classes and it's unlimited with 24/7 access. I would definitely recommend giving it a try and your first class is free!

My little ones love running around the obstacle course, climbing the rock wall and attempting to get to the top of the warped wall (think American Ninja Warrior!) I love the group classes, but the personal training offered here is wonderful. The trainers are knowledgeable, nice and fun! Membership: I do the unlimited membership because it gives me access to all the classes, but you can buy packs of classes, a virtual membership, on-and demand access. All very well priced! You can even drop in for single classes! Extra bits: Also worth mentioning are the dogs you might see, the beer you may drink and the coffee that's always available. Being someone who struggled for over 15 years with chronic back pain and fatigue, to my surprise these classes have truly been a life saver. While researching on line trying to find a personal trainer that specializes in working with back problems I came across a journal sentinel article about this gym. I went in knowing nothing or ever even heard of cross fit. I told them about my back problems and my prior surgeries. I started out real slow, barely enough strength to do a girl push up. They spent a lot of time explaining the exercises, how to alter them in regards to my fitness level making sure I do them correctly and use proper form. I mostly work with Matt, who has helped me tremendously. Slowly I've been gaining more and more strength and endurance I didn't know I was capable of. Everyone that works out there is so super supportive and I actually look forward to getting exercise! The biggest part of all this....My back pain and the pain down my leg is GONE, like it was never there. I am so thankful to have found this place!!!

Oh, and good equipment and facilities. CrossFit Kenosha has all of these in abundance. On top of that, the members are friendly and motivating, the music usually pretty good (as far as CrossFit music goes), schedules very accessible, and the rates are very reasonable. I also think the lighting is very good. Some gyms have those awful fluorescent lights which give me a headache. But this gym has something else, which -- no joke -- makes everyone look more attractive and yet does not contribute to my migraines. Too good to be true? Well, there are things they could work on. I can't think of more than one right now. Which is that they don't have a place to refill your water bottle, aside from a bathroom sink. But if that's the worst thing about this place... For some perspective, I've been doing Xrossfit since 2013 and have worked out all over the country.
