Nice day for the range
Rina I.

Great driving range with plenty of space and plenty of balls to hit. Playing on real grass and not playing on the fake grass hitting mats was great. They maintain the upkeep on the grass well. My boyfriend was a huge fan of this and really enjoyed his time here. Chipping area is not in the best shape. But reasonable prices and friendly staff. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. No shade so bring sunscreen or wear a hat because the Florida sun can be brutal. Plenty of parking available. There were also some batting cages next to the golfing range. Would definitely stop by again!

Old school range, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. If you are looking to have a relaxing and fun time hitting some golf balls or baseball this is the place.

This is your old school driving range and I love it! It's the kind of range from back in the day before all the high tech, party driving ranges came in to the market. This is the type of driving range I prefer. There's nothing fancy about it. There is a small club house where you purchase your bucket of balls, multiple sizes are available. They also sell beverages and some golf accessories. The range it self is a big open field with tattered old faded yardage markers. You hit directly off the sandy/dirt/grass ground which I prefer, not a mat. They also offer a chipping green at no charge and there is a batting cage that is part of the facility. The grounds are kept clean and the staff has always been friendly. This will continue to be my range of choice as long as I'm in the area.

Afternoon bucket.

This range is the spot. Conveniently located just outside of downtown. I paid $12 for a bucket of 70-80 balls, but you can get more or less for a small difference in price. Nice little chipping/green area as well. Other than that, just a good ol classic driving range. Whatcha see is whatcha get. I'll be back for sure. There's also a pretty neat batting cage if you're into that.

Batting Cages Review - The cages are so-so, but as some have mentioned, there's not a lot of batting cage selection currently in East Orlando, especially the kind where you can easily stroll in if you feel like hitting a few. DO NOT GO IF ITS BEEN RAINING AT ALL RECENTLY (the machines won't work right, they also have a sign warning you of that indoors). I typically visit Bad Dog every other week or so. We usually get the 10 tokens for $12 deal and that splits between two people nicely to feel like everyone got enough pitches. GOOD - typically not crowded (rarely have to wait to hit), friendly people that leave you be, open cages so you can better judge the height and length of your hit. BAD - open cages mean the balls have to be fetched like golf balls (sometimes I see them fetching and returning all day; other times the machine looks like it's about to run out of balls at any moment); the machines are older and unpredictable (most of the time it's about 80/20 good pitches, but every so often, like my most recent experience there, it's 20/80, with most not even making it halfway to the plate! Go ahead and give it a try if you're looking for a place to hit on the east side of town. The pitches are good more often than not, and you can always ask for your money back if it's a bad machine day.

Good location to get some practice irons and driver. You don't need to be in your golf outfit to swing. Very reasonable price.

Decent place with old school vibe. All grass, no pads. Chipping/putting green. Could use a freshening up, but serves its purpose.

Pace of play was solid, even considering Cart Path Only due to all the rain they've received over the past couple weeks, but that's really not their fault. The conditions are nearly immaculate even with the rain. There's maintenance folks doing work all over the place and it really shows! They have everything you need in the clubhouse along with sale prices on some cool gear (Adidas and FJ to name a few)! Overall, a top spot in the area and I see why they have the ratings they do. Shingle Creek Golf Club - A Beautiful Stay Before Our Cruise…read more Shingle Creek Golf Club was included in our cruise package, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised by how massive and beautiful this property is! The resort has so much to offer, including a gorgeous golf course, a volleyball court, and three swimming areas. When we first arrived, we spent some time walking around the property and taking in everything. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The location is also a huge plus. It's not far from Universal Studios, and if you don't have a car, an Uber or Lyft is an easy and inexpensive option. There are several restaurants on the property. The food was decent, although the prices were a little high--which I guess is to be expected at a hotel resort. One of my favorite surprises was the 24-hour shopping area on the ground floor near the pool. It was so convenient because they had pretty much anything you could need during your stay. And the pizza there was actually really good! Our room was clean, smelled fresh, and was perfectly fine for what we needed. Nothing over-the-top, but comfortable and well maintained. The staff, however, really stood out. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even better. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, especially if we're taking another cruise out of Orlando. It's a convenient location, beautiful property, friendly staff, and a great place to spend a night or two before your cruise.

The city took over this location and I kind of expected it to be in the same condition as the Winter Park 9. Nope. It was not all bad but the core portion was horrible. Newly renovated snack bar and bar. Nicely done. Nice sitting area and the bathrooms best I have seen at a local course. I mean real nice!!! The staff were very nice but there was an odor of burnt plastic inside. Carts worked well but their geo fencing made no sense. I had multiple times it shut down well away from greens and tee boxes. Number one has the range down the right side. Wouldn't let me get within twenty feet of the marked out of bounds as I searched for my ball. Also how about sending someone out to police all the range balls on number one. Another tip. Have your mowers work backwards so each group only deals with it on one hole? We had a mower escort for three holes as we finished the front nine. Found it weird they were cutting tee boxes at 1pm. It wasn't wet. PRO SUGGESTION: how about a discounted rate until your greens get fixed. Many course give a discount during aeration season. Highlight was the guys I caught on two and waved me up to join them. Pro Tip: Tuesday has a ladies league so get out early or not at all. 5000 yards should not take four hours. Pro tip: I would skip this place until they get their greens figured out.

In January of this year I did a complete shift! I started planning for a big 2027. I was told the most influential people are at golf courses. PGA tickets at Arnold Palmer range from regular tickets being $100 to the Orange Grove option which was a luxury package including all-inclusive food and beverage and clubhouse access. Two-day packages (Thursday and Friday or Saturday and Sunday) started at $2,000, while the full-week four-round package STARTED at $3,500. Arnold Palmer is well maintained and super swanky!
