We asked one of the other companies about their insurance and they claimed to have it but could not provide proof. John was also very patient when going over our color choices and concerns about settling cracks in some walls. Saying as a standard practice he fixes that sort of thing (which is actually stated in his quote). From the start we pretty much knew we were going to use GPG Painting. When the work started they were very careful to lay drop cloths and cover all of our furniture with plastic. At the end of the first day they have most of the work completed and my wife and I looked it over very closely after they had left. We couldn't find a single problem. The next day they finished the work and again, we could find not fault in the workmanship. I would highly recommend GPG Painting to anyone who wants a headache free paint job. When its time for us to get the exterior painted I will be calling John.

They did a thorough inspection that they reviewed with me in detail with photos. The price isn't cheap but it is fair. The supervisor Robert arrived to kick off the project and checked back in during the 3 days it took to do all the work. Their carpenter beautifully repaired the porch rotted pillars. They used quality materials that won't rot, knew to use the proper caulk for PVC board that expands and contracts more than wood and put on two coats of paint. Everyone was friendly and smiling. When they were done they cleaned up and left me with gleaming white trim and porch. It looks fantastic. I have recommended them to friends, one of which has used them and also raves about their work.

When the estimator came out I told them I wanted walls and doors all painted the same color. I received the estimate and it had a different paint listed for the doors. I asked why it was different and he explained that it was just a different finish but still the same color. It wasn't. He had the doors quoted as a completely different color so when he finally corrected the issue the original estimate went up in price even though that's what I requested in the first place. I still proceeded with the project and the day they were supposed to start (I was told 9 am) he didn't show up. I called the office and they reached out and said he was running late and would be there by 11. When he arrived he immediately apologized and said he had a family issue which is completely understandable but a phone call would have helped. He started the work and I left him to do his business but at one point I noticed he went out to his truck and didn't come back in the house for an extended period of time. I happened to look out the window and noticed he was spraying my driveway with a hose. I went outside to see what was going on and he spilled a can of paint in my driveway. I didn't complain but he immediately apologized and said he was going to request a discount for being late and the paint spill. The job was finished in two days and the quality of work was acceptable but again it was the poor communication. The office contacted me the following Monday to ask about the experience and I told them everything that happened and I was told a discount would be requested on my behalf. Again this discount was offered to me, I never requested anything but the office responded that he was within the designated arrival time and they would only apply a discount if the paint couldn't be cleaned from the driveway. This is not what he told me and if he didn't have the authority to offer discounts to customers he shouldn't have made the comment in the first place.

Being on there while, my neighbors have had theirs on for several months saddens me. I proceed to call this company the day after which was June 5th. To have the cat placed on because it ended up on my back roof after a storm granted. The storm was quite heavy, but my neighbors. Their That were placed correctly on there's stayed on was told. Oh well, we'll get it that week. Call the following week. We'll get it on that week and so on. And so forth, it had become a redundant thing after leaving for a week and coming home to the cap. Still not being on there. I proceeded to call again. The gentleman that answered said oh yeah, the guys right next to me. Was told oh, it will be placed on the next day.Shouldid not rain pouring down.Well, it didn't rain pouring down and here.It is the day after and it's still on my back roof this company unfortunately was unreliable in telling their customers and following through with their business
