Within an hour they had a whole crew in our backyard working to remove the trees. We watched guys climb into the tree canopy and work diligently to cut the trees down. It was an impressive and efficient removal! Both trees fell exactly where they said they would. Before the started they took down part of our fence so the tree didn't destroy it. They put the fence back up after they finished and it looked good as new! We are super pleased. Especially considering we asked them to do this with such short notice on a Sunday. Highly recommend!

I called and spoke with the owner about an issue and got a lot of attitude and he was outright disrespectful. Think twice about working with this company. If you do, watch everything and make sure your contract is buttoned up. They will say they are grinding the stump and when the tree grindings evaporate you may still have a stump underneath. They do things very fast - they're a quantity type of company not quality. Take lots of pictures and videos. Better yet, get someone that has good reviews and will take care of you if something goes wrong.

Dean came out to quote my job very soon after I called him. He even called to tell me that he was going to be just five minutes late for our appointment, much appreciated. Dean was very informative and helpful in assessing our trees and determining the best course of action. You can tell he's got a ton of experience and knowledge. He told me when he had another job in our area and offered to "save [me] a few bucks" if he could do our trees at the same time. He quoted a fair price which included cleanup and removal of the logs. They took out two diseased trees in our back yard. They removed all the debris, left our yard clean, and left minimal stumps. (They cut the smaller stump so low it's hidden under the pine straw) Definitely an above average job. Highly recommended.

They just completed the job in about a day and a half. They not only did an excellent job with the big branch and tree, but they also cut up the smaller trees that I thought that I would handle myself. He then sent his son to remove 5 Buford Holly stumps for which he charged $800 (we paid someone else to remove what the son missed). We gave the son a check for $800 which he scanned and tried to deposit online. The check didn't clear because the son's scan did not include the check's routing number or account number. A very irate dad called to let me know that the check we gave to his son, a struggling college student, didn't clear. Dad didn't mention that the son didn't know how to deposit a check. The check was good and did clear when done properly. I offered him cash if he returned the check, but he didn't want to do that, he only wanted to blame us for his son's incompetence. From then on, he was very hostile, but we had already paid him $500 for his "plan". Months later we got the plan on a big piece of paper.

It was a pleasant experience from start to finish, and it was, without a doubt, worth every penny. Lang McLeod, the owner, was a referral from a good friend of mine who had used Morning Dew for a project in his yard. Seeing the quality work they had done in my friend's yard, I reached out to Lang shortly thereafter to schedule a site visit / walkaround so we could talk through the work we wanted them to quote. From that point forward, I knew we had made the right decision in working with Morning Dew Landscapes. It was an overall highly positive experience. To my wife and I, one of the most critical aspects of working with a contractor is, clear, consistent, and timely communication. The alternative to that makes for a frustrating, often upsetting experience. Thankfully, Lang is an effective communicator and is timely with his responses. That alone made for smooth sailing throughout the process, starting with the site visit and continuing through the price quote, scheduling of the work, and completion of the project (which included a couple of "pivots" along the way). Lang's knowledge of local flora and how/where to place it, and care for it once planted, was invaluable. The entire job, which I had assumed would take weeks, was done in 4 days! It took them 2 days to do the entire landscape project, and then came the "pivot" once it was done.... my wife and I decided it was worth the money to go ahead and install an irrigation system to protect our sizable investment. They were back out at our house the next day, carefully lifting the sod they had laid the day before to install the irrigation components. At no time did I witness any cutting of corners or lack of professionalism from the subcontractors Lang had assigned to the job. Everyone was great to deal with, knowledgeable, professional, and clearly committed to delivering a quality end result. We are thrilled with the outcome, and will hire Morning Dew Landscapes to do work for us in the future, starting in a couple of months with some limbing up of trees and trimming of some bushes that we've let get out of control over the years! I give them a 10/10 and highly recommend that you consider Morning Dew for your next yard project.
