However, to send these aspiring plutocrats off with a bang, how about the best fireworks show in NJ bar none. After all, if you want these masters of the universe to someday come back and donate a building you better not cheap out on the pyrotechnics. Princeton certainly doesn't, unleashing a spectacular thirty minute show that spares no expense and leaves you smelling gunpowder for a week. In fact, when I think about why I live in New Jersey despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, this show is in my top five just edging out insanity and laziness. Kudos to Garden State Fireworks and their very generous John G for taking the time to explain the intricacies of a spectacular show. Five exploding stars.

Dear Yelp, We live…read morein the area and visited here a few times when we first moved in. Then my dear daughter became too cool for pumpkin picking with her family. But alas, she's old Enough to come with friends now. We enjoyed the donuts, $7 for a bag. They were hot and not overly sweet- appreciated that. The haunted hay ride. Hmmm. $15 per person. Our tractor ride made Conklin $400 alone. It was...enjoyable...but literally only 7 minutes long. We waited in line for 10. The actors were incredible, but it was a one and done for me. My daughter and her friend said it was "amazingly scary" and they were pleased. I appreciate the free parking and no admission fee. Pumpkins are 85 cents a pound. They have the To-Gather coffee truck there on weekends which is a nice touch. We stayed an hour and a half. Love, Nicole

Like anything else in the world, pumpkins have origins. There was once a time in history when…read morepumpkins did not look and taste like how they do today. Native Americans were already growing pumpkins even before the Europeans arrived in the country. After their arrival, they also learned about this versatile plant and started adopting it. The Europeans used them as the main ingredient in various dishes and meals, including soups, stews, and the widely famous pumpkin pie. It's that time of year when one can't think of anything more quintessentially autumn than hopping on a hayride, cutting a fresh pumpkin from its stem, and bringing it home to carve, which is why my partner and I came this Saturday afternoon to Conklin Farm U Pick, located on the corner of Vreeland Avenue and River Road in Montville. Upon arrival, we were guided by the staff to their organized spacious parking lot. This much simpler, relaxed, family-run and operated farm offers a little bit of everything. The ground is a decent size for everyone, from regular and haunted hayrides and train rides to picking your own pumpkins at 85 cents a pound and the purchase of mini apple cider donuts, pies, and apple cider drinks. The crowds were manageable. There was an authentic pumpkin patch with vines and pumpkins attached to the earth! Parking and entrance were free with friendly staff, and the price was reasonable. We had a great time here and will definitely visit it again.

See my pictures (baby with polka dot balloons) just beautiful! I've rented costumes from We're Having a Party and they were always clean and we had the time of our lives in them.

We searched and found that there were only a handful of pharmacies in Manhattan which sell pepper spray. Esco was the most convenient for us, so we traveled to Hell's Kitchen to purchase. It looks to be a nice pharmacy as well, so if you are into supporting local businesses, I recommend Esco Drug Company when you are in NYC.

I will say I think their price points on certain items are overpriced. Although, some of the prices are labeled high, they will slightly negotiate because I saw a lady negotiating a slightly lesser price on a t-shirt while I was there.
